Pet friendly Hotels in Ningxia, China

Although the hotel is not particularly new, it has complete facilities and the surrounding environment is relatively good and quiet. The heating and air conditioning are sufficient, giving southerners a full sense of security. There are also many types of breakfast, and in order to avoid waste, they are very considerate and cut into small pieces. When breakfast is about to end, they will knock on the door of each room to ask if you have eaten breakfast. The service was very good and enthusiastic. The air conditioner was already on when I checked in. The lady at the front desk also helped to deliver the luggage to the room and explained the precautions very considerately.

I chose this hotel because of the free airport pickup and drop-off service, which was a decisive factor for me. The butler contacted us in advance and arranged the pickup, even sending us a small guide and restaurant recommendations, which were all very clear. The hotel environment is also excellent, the driver was very friendly, and the room was super comfortable. I do have a small suggestion though: there seemed to be too few trash cans. It would be much more convenient if the small tabletop bins were replaced with larger ones. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and there was also complimentary late-night congee available, so if you don't feel like going out in the evening, you can easily have a satisfying meal here. The surroundings of the hotel are also lovely; on a clear night, you can even enjoy moon gazing. Overall, I give my stay a full 5 stars.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations! It's a beautiful vineyard estate with lush greenery, offering a tranquil and cozy environment. You can cycle and stroll around the grounds, visit the winery, and the atmosphere is simply wonderful. What I'm most incredibly grateful for is that around 10 PM on the night of our check-in, I suddenly felt unwell. However, my partner couldn't leave our young, sleeping child. In a moment of panic, one of the team members in the housekeeper chat proactively offered help. Even more remarkably, the manager immediately drove me to the hospital for treatment, accompanied me through all the examinations, and stayed with me until past midnight. I'm truly, incredibly grateful. The room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities. But most importantly, the staff here are genuinely warm and helpful. The manager extended a helping hand when a guest needed it most, acting like family even though we're not. It's truly difficult to encounter such an unexpected situation when traveling, but thankfully, the manager and housekeepers were so warm and helped me through it smoothly. As a guest, I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Helan Mountain. It was a truly warm and special accommodation experience. Bringing the kids to the desert was totally worth it! They were incredibly excited the whole time, playing in the sand and sandboarding during the day, stargazing at night, and attending a bonfire party – they were so happy they didn't want to sleep! The tents were quiet and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and even helped look after the children. A fantastic experience, five stars!

The biggest surprise of my trip to Zhongwei was staying at the Xiang Tengger Desert Hotel. Deep in the Tengger Desert, far from the hustle and bustle, the dedicated shuttle service made check-in hassle-free, saving us the trouble of driving into the sand ourselves. The rooms were clean and dry, which is quite rare for a desert environment, and the facilities exceeded our expectations. During the day, we enjoyed playing on the sand dunes, with plenty of activities like sandboarding and other desert adventures that kept the kids entertained. In the evening, we waited for the stunning desert sunset, and after dark, there was a bonfire party and fireworks. Looking up, we could see the brilliant Milky Way – the atmosphere was absolutely incredible. The staff were warm and attentive, quickly resolving any issues we had. Overall, it perfectly blended wilderness adventure with comfort, making it ideal for a family trip. If I ever return to the Zhongwei desert, I'll definitely stay here again.

The pickup service was a nice touch, and the room was kept very clean. The service overall was good, but the facilities are really old. When walking down the hallway, the floorboards creaked, which was annoying. The pillows were incredibly uncomfortable, and the hot water was inconsistent – it kept fluctuating between hot and cold when I was trying to bathe my child. The faucet in the sink also splashed a lot.

A very new hotel with larger-than-life rooms and beds that feel like apartments. The location is midway between Shapotou and Zhongwei City, so it may not be ideal for some looking for nightlife, but there are several inexpensive restaurants in walking distance, so it's easy enough to get food. The bus stop of number 2 going to the city and the sand dunes is 5 minutes walk away - just time it right because there's one bus per hour in each direction. There's Chinese-style breakfast included which may not be for everyone but it was filling. Definitely worth the money! Had a blissful rest here and would go back.

The facilities are clean, convenient and practical, and the environment is beautiful. Hygiene is also quite clean The service staff were very enthusiastic and very nice. Everyone had a great time.

Nice room. We had a room with a window but no view to the backyard which did not bother us because we were there only for sleeping. To use the shower you basically have to stand between the sink and toilet or on top of the toilet, which was not ideal but we had worse. The hotel is quite thin-walled. You can here other guests from their rooms and whats going on in the lobby, too. The personal was more than willing to help and friendly. There is also a tap water supply in the entrance room and we could take our bicycles to the room.

The tents had brand new bedding, a cozy layout, and a complete range of amenities, all conveniently located. The bathroom and toilet facilities were complete, and the entire scenic area had electricity and internet (with fast speeds). The restaurant had a wide variety of dishes, and the entertainment options were healthy, environmentally friendly, fun, and meaningful for the whole family. I especially commend Xiaochao, the butler. He was very attentive, kind, and welcoming. I'll definitely stay with him again if I visit Tengri again.
