I had an amazing experience here. Upon arrival, I even received a complimentary room upgrade, which was such a wonderful surprise. The hotel is brand new, and everything feels fresh and well maintained.
The owner is incredibly helpful and goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. He’s always ready to answer questions or give advice.
He also runs his own travel agency, and through him, I visited Tashkurgan — definitely a trip worth taking and a highlight of my journey.
In short: an excellent stay with outstanding service. Highly recommended!
I stayed at this hotel with my dog. It's located in an old street with Xinjiang-style architecture. The room even had a long balcony, which was great for enjoying the view in the morning. There are also plenty of food options right next to the hotel.
The front desk staff was very kind. Even though she was a little scared of my dog, she still wanted to pet his head a lot.
I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Turpan with their pet!
Located right next to Tashi County Food Street, it's very convenient for dining and shopping. The room was clean, the facilities were comprehensive, the service was attentive, the atmosphere was great, and the value for money was excellent. It was a great choice.
Choosing this hotel was such a wise decision! As a tourist coming from a lower altitude, my biggest worry—altitude sickness—was perfectly solved. The oxygen concentrator in the room had a nebulizer function, so I could breathe oxygen anytime. A few minutes of oxygen in the middle of the night when I felt unwell was enough to make me feel better, giving me a huge sense of security. The hotel is very new, with stylish decor, clean and tidy rooms, and a well-planned layout. The large terrace was a huge plus; enjoying the high-altitude breeze and the view of the snow-capped mountains and golden grasslands was incredibly relaxing.
The service was incredibly heartwarming. A dedicated porter helped with our luggage, so we didn't have to suffer on the plateau. The front desk also helped us coordinate our itinerary, even proactively arranging transportation—very reliable. The food exceeded my expectations. The stir-fried yak meat we ordered at dinner was plentiful and delicious, and I still crave the yak dumplings at breakfast. The local specialties in the lobby were more affordable than outside, so I bought some snow chrysanthemums and dried fruit to take home. The hotel also has several popular photo spots with ethnic-style decorations. Staying in such a comfortable and thoughtful hotel in Tashkurgan truly doubled the happiness of my entire trip!
This place is about a 15-minute drive from Taxian county, located off a rural road, quite a distance from the town center. The views are incredible, with direct sight of the snow-capped mountains – the scenery is absolutely stunning, and the tent atmosphere is just perfect.
We arrived late on the day, so we didn't really experience much in the way of attentive service; it was just a quick check-in and some directions. Since it's a tent camp, you can't drive directly to your tent. Luggage needs to be transported by the scenic area's shuttle bus, which can be a bit of a hassle and tiring if you have a lot of stuff.
The breakfast was pretty average, not particularly lavish, but considering its remote, outdoor location, this standard is understandable. It works perfectly fine if you're looking for a guesthouse-like stay. Also, it was incredibly windy that night. If you're sensitive to wind noise or other sounds, I'd recommend checking the weather forecast beforehand, otherwise, it might affect your sleep.
Overall, the experience was decent. Its main draw is the scenery and the unique tent experience. If you're looking for peace and quiet while enjoying snow mountain views, this is the place to be.
Traveling with my parents, our main requirements were spaciousness, cleanliness, and warmth. The two-bedroom suite we booked was very spacious, and the washbasin had two sinks, which was very convenient. The cleanliness was excellent, and the service was warm and welcoming. They responded to any questions immediately. For the air conditioning, make sure to select the heating mode first, then press the auxiliary heating button, or ask the butler to adjust it for you. It's been quite cold lately, so we needed to use the heating mode. With the air conditioning on, it was very warm. The two-bedroom suite had two large beds and two air conditioners. There were candles in the common area at night, creating a lovely atmosphere. In summer, the swimming pool in the common area would be even more beautiful for photos.
Our stay at the Shar Starry Sky Glamping camp in Karajun Grassland was a truly rejuvenating and luxurious experience! The camp is nestled in the core area of a World Natural Heritage site, offering breathtaking views. From our window, we could see vast grasslands and continuous snow-capped mountains – the scenery was absolutely stunning.
The starry dome we stayed in was incredibly impressive. It offered unobstructed panoramic views, allowing us to watch the grassland sunset right from our bed. At night, with no city light pollution, the Milky Way was clearly visible, and the provided telescope made stargazing super convenient – the kids absolutely loved it.
Both the owner and the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, responding 24/7. They even offered stargazing explanations. The camp provides excellent privacy, with ample space between each room, making it quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was rich and authentic, featuring traditional flatbread (nang) and fresh milk – the grassland cuisine was delicious. Away from the hustle and bustle, falling asleep under the stars and waking up to the view of snow-capped mountains – this is what a true luxury wilderness getaway should be. Highly recommended!

Extremely satisfied with the experience! The buffet was delicious. On the day we checked in, it was very sunny, and the room just wouldn't cool down. We contacted the front desk, and they immediately offered to switch us to a king-size room on the shady side. The issue was resolved very quickly and thoughtfully.
I am very satisfied with this hotel, very clean, staff were great and kind, bed was very comfortable and clean, everything was fantastic, I recommend it to all kind of travelers who would stay near the airport.

AAnonymous UserOverall, my experience was fantastic, but I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk staff – they were incredibly warm and welcoming!
From the moment I walked in to check-in, the lady at the front desk greeted me with a big smile and a very friendly tone. She even helped me out with a few small requests, which really made me feel right at home.
Apart from that, the hotel's facilities and environment were excellent too. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit and will happily recommend it to my friends!
GGuest UserThis was the biggest surprise in terms of accommodation during this short trip to Xinjiang! The room is clean and tidy, with all the necessary items. The large floor-to-ceiling windows let in warm sunlight. You can sleep looking at the stars at night, and see the snow-capped mountains when you open your eyes in the morning. It is so beautiful that you have no worries! The boss and his sister are also very nice. We bought the ingredients ourselves. Not only did they provide us with a full set of barbecue tools and seasonings for free, but the chef brother also taught us how to marinate and grill meat, and the boss sister grilled vegetables for us herself. I have to say that the mutton in Zhaosu is really delicious😍
GGuest UserStaying at the Nalati Meet the Stars Wild Luxury Camp was absolutely worth it! Xiao Chen, the butler who contacted us beforehand, was incredibly thoughtful. He clearly explained all the activities available at the camp via WeChat, and even helped us with our luggage upon arrival. When we asked for an extra blanket, and there weren't any spare due to full occupancy, the manager actually went out and bought new ones – that's incredible efficiency!
We got caught in the rain returning from the scenic area in the afternoon, and Xiao Chen immediately brought us an umbrella, and even arranged afternoon tea and a mini hot pot for us. Although we were a bit disappointed we couldn't have a bonfire, waking up to the sight of snow-capped mountains the next day was breathtaking! After breakfast, the butler even arranged for a photographer to take pictures, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. He also helped us with our luggage when we left.
While the rain did slightly affect our experience, the service was truly exceptional, and our stay was incredibly comfortable.

GGuest UserThe experience at LuxStay B&B was absolutely fantastic! The overall decor is elegant and chic, creating a wonderful atmosphere. GGuest UserElla is a conscientious and gracious host who has cultivated a warm and fun environment. I had a great experience sleeping in the comfortable dorm which was a very fair price by China standards as well. Facilities are new and clean. I slept well on a comfy bed in a relatively quiet neighborhood that’s still very close to the ancient city. Also you can take a taxi directly to her Homestay whereas in the ancient city you have to carry your bags at least a few hundred meters from taxi drop off. Ella was patient and answered all of my touristic questions while caring for the other guests too. Also she often prepares a potluck meal for a fair price. I met many interesting travellers here too so if you are looking for a good base to rest that meets your social and touristic needs as well Ella’s home is the place for you. Probably my favorite hostel in my month in China. Shame I have to leave. The private rooms look quite cozy as well
GGuest UserUnbelievably romantic!
We arrived at night, and the illuminated manor house was both quiet and bustling, with performances by veteran artists bringing the courtyard to life! After enjoying a welcome feast of grapes, our housekeeper escorted us to our cabin... The swaying light and shadows of the grapevines made me pleasantly surprised to find it felt just like a villa in Bali!
The next morning, we asked our housekeeper for breakfast, which was hearty and healthy. The lovely lady even told us we could add more if we wanted... After breakfast, we could leisurely explore Grape Valley!
My only regret is not staying longer. The cleanliness, quietness, and comfort of the cabin made me want to stay for a month!
GGuest UserThe room is spacious, the bedding is clean, and the courtyard of the B&B is warm, romantic and full of vitality. Sitting in the courtyard, we can directly see the grassland and snow-capped mountains, and we also saw the beautiful sunset.
The breakfast at the B&B is simple, clean and nutritious. Reservations are available for lunch and dinner. We had delicious BBQ, grilled lamb chops, and the boss's cold-mixed dandelions, so we ordered two meals in one go!
The boss and his family are very nice, with a strong sense of service. The pick-up and drop-off at the scenic spot is timely, and they greet us warmly when we meet. It was a very happy and comfortable two-day stay. I sincerely recommend it!

Outstanding
PPockyBackpackThis hotel is truly surrounded by nature. There are walking paths and scenic viewpoints within the property, and the views are beautiful. However, during winter, it feels a bit quiet and almost deserted, as there are not many guests staying.
The service style is more upon request — staff will assist when called, but they do not proactively offer help. One thing I didn’t particularly like was that despite many rooms being available, we were assigned a room with a less impressive view.
That said, the room itself was in good condition, and the heating worked perfectly even in -20°C weather, which was very important and appreciated.
One major advantage of this hotel is the flexible cancellation policy — free cancellation is allowed on the day of arrival. This is especially helpful in winter when travel plans can change due to road conditions.
Breakfast was good and served directly to the room, which was convenient. Overall, the staff did nothing wrong, but the service mindset felt somewhat lacking in warmth or attentiveness.
