The location is good and the service is good. The hotel is quite lively, with different organizations holding activities indoors and outdoors on weekends and weekdays. The downside is that the sound insulation is really poor, and you can hear your neighbors sneezing and coughing, as well as the TV sound. We did encounter a power outage at night, which lasted about a minute.
Overall solid, but a little bare bones.
No slippers or robe or waters in the room. Felt like just two tv remotes and an empty bar fridge. Bathroom provisions basic as well.
Location is convenient for the airport and getting places, but not much around the hotel itself.
Breakfast was fine tasting, but the scene was hectic. Things were constantly running out, the omelet line was slow, and tables were mostly unclean and without cutlery.
This may make it sound bad, but it was decently satisfactory
This place is simply amazing. My girlfriend and I decided to stay here for the first two nights in Colombia and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. We stayed in the Africa suite - the room was clean, beautifully decorated, and had so much charm. The bed was comfortable and all the amenities were as advertised. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The staff here is truly what deserves a stellar review. We arrived late and even before our arrival, the owner Marcus had responded to us promptly with info about checking in. When we got there - Franc (François) was waiting for us and gave us a quick and thoughtful tour of the BnB and was so kind and informative with any and every question we had. He made the trip for us. Such a wonderful human being. The next morning we had an amazing breakfast that was cooked to perfection and was greeted by their resident tortoise on the premises - such a cute lil guy, as well as Marcus who was just as welcoming and kind as he was on the phone. When we left, Roman was working and set us up with a cab to the bus station and was equally kind and helpful. I could go on - but just do yourself a favor and book this BnB. I’ll be going back the next time I come back to Cartagena - and any time after that.
The old 5 star hotel that stayed when I first came to CARTAGENA 10 years ago, was very impressed, especially for the courtyard layout, the swimming pool and the restaurant on the side. It arrived at around 10:00 am. It has been 28 hours flight and transfer from Beijing. It is really tired and I don’t want to wait until 3 pm (on the Intercontinental, I’ve received $50 for early check-in). The plan to stay; the front desk said that the room was ready to live, and agreed to advance the breakfast on the last day to the day, it is very rare, thank you! The front desk, restaurant and various services are very thoughtful, although the room looks old, still feel things Great value!
The hotel is very clean overall, the room is very clean, the hotel is fully equipped and the breakfast is delicious.
Hotel staff service is very good, the location is very good, if you go to Colombia again, you will stay again!
We liked it that we were allowed to enter a little before check-in time.

Very Good
WWilliamAbsolutely fantastic. This is a quiet small resort with maybe 14 rooms. 1.5 hours from Cartagena City. A bit of a harrowing drive, but definitely worth the trip. Once you get in through the doors, it’s beautiful & peaceful. Balinese type style. Not a five-star resort but they do a really nice job. Very well staffed so you have somebody to help you if you need anything. Very quiet. No telephones, no tv’s in room. Rooms are spacious, private, very comfortable. Two small beaches on either side of the main area. All open-air reception, Restaurant. One restaurant iwth 2 levels. Food was actually terrific. Best food we had in Colombia. We were there for three nights and absolutely loved it. lots of daytrippers, people coming in from Cartagena on boat to spend the day at the resort. Was nice. Will definitely come back. Thank you to Lordy who took such nice care of our family. Special place.
GGuest UserStaying here was truly amazing, from the hospitality to the comfort of the room, i felt at home, safe and happy. The food offered was delicious, i recommend the pasta with the shrimp. The waters in front and back offer a beautiful view of the sea and sky. I felt blessed to be able to enjoy this island and meet the community and the beautiful diversity nature had to offer. Swimming in front was so fun, and all the activities are a must! (Playa libre, oceonario, planktons..) Also, it’s beautiful to see the stars at night on the deck. I recommend! Just make sure you bring insects repellent and water shoes.
Thanks to all the staff! ❤️
JJayyy3126Great for the price. Location was good in Bocagrande. Not far from food and the main business street. The staff were amazing everyone at reception especially Rene Morales were helpful. The only problem was the WiFi didn’t work. The beds are rustic made of bamboo. But overall an okay stay. Simple breakfast included. Overall a great place for the price and location.
BBriandThe hotel is clean and tidy. Its staff is very attentive to guests. But they should extend their Check-in times (it's too late) and Check-out times (very early). Despite that, I was allowed to use the facilities (bathroom) since I was returning from a tour after check-out, but I was able to use a shower.
In short, very good but with that detail to improve their schedules.
GGuest UserHotel service is general, the garden is very beautiful, the room is very good, close to the attractions, only the surrounding road is more difficult to walk, very close to the river, breakfast is also very good!
