This hotel seems to get some bad reviews but I think many are unfair. From what we experienced it was a good hotel, great location and the person who checked us in was very good. Especially as the she had to handle an awkward customer ahead of us. Bed was very big and had a good mattress. Usual stuff you want in a hotel room and nice complimentary toiletries. Location of the hotel is ideal for exploring Inverness centre, less than a 10 min walk to the most famous bank machine in Inverness (IYKYK). There is limited parking but a reasonably priced multi story car park is only a few mins walk away. Staircase in reception area leading to the first floor is also very impressive.

The hotel has seen better days and could do with attention to details, especially the public areas. The rooms however, were clean and organised. Reception staff was very friendly as was one of the restaurant staff. The hotel looks like 25 years ago and hasn’t been updated since. The outside of the hotel doesn’t look inviting, rather scruffy. It also appears to cater for tour groups.  Breakfast was ok, but again a bit of modernisation wouldn’t go amiss. A 10:00 am check out time is too early and should be considered when booking this hotel.

Good experience overall. On Trip.com it states there is free parking available, but this is not true. The hotel did clarify this when I mentioned parking on my booking request. They advised us to park at the Old Town Rose Street parking (paid) which is less than 5 minute walk away.

The hotel is on the main road of the town, and it is very convenient to go out for meals. The hotel has drinking water, which is very good. The breakfast is super delicious. It is made to order and is more delicious than the main meal. You must order breakfast. The waiter is very good. He makes tea, coffee and juice for you. He is very diligent. There are a lot of salmon in the smoked salmon bagel. The yogurt cup is also very delicious.

I found my one night stay at the Highlander Hotel to be very pleasant. My room was a generous double en suite and was spotless. As a solo traveller on a pedal bike I was pleased that there was a secure shed where I could leave my bike in confidence. The staff were very helpful over this and again when I reported that the tv wasn't receiving a signal. This was sorted very quickly with a new aerial cable. Breakfast was good, with plenty of fresh fruit and a choice of hot dishes. Great value and I'd certainly go back.

This was the most spacious and modern hotel I've seen while traveling in the UK. There's a river right outside, and the river view is absolutely stunning. The only minor issue was that the bathroom felt a bit off-putting; otherwise, everything was impeccable. The breakfast was also incredibly delicious, with a wonderful Scottish flavor! Since we had to leave very early for the Isle of Skye, we asked the staff for breakfast boxes to go, which was fantastic! The location is also excellent, only about a 15-minute walk to many of the meeting points for GetYourGuide tours. Finally, when we were leaving for the airport, we didn't have a car, and it's quite hard to get an Uber here. So, we asked the front desk staff to help us call a taxi, and the price was very reasonable – a really thoughtful service!

The hotel is small in size, so it can also be more meticulous service. Since it was Friday afternoon, the good evening restaurants in the city were fully booked, and the hotel staff was very enthusiastic to help me call a family. Breakfast has to be selected the day before, and it will be done now, and it feels good. The location is more convenient, you can park the car in the hotel yard and walk to the center.

We had a fantastic stay at Kingsmill Hotel. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the golf course which was beautiful. The bathroom was cleaned perfectly with no dust or mould. The kingside bed was huge and very comfortable. We would stay again.

Great
SSdehuayanglvtuA typical cottage, the house provides hot air, and it is very warm and comfortable in the north of Scotland at about 10 degrees. The house and bathroom are layered, so you need to go up and down, but they are all used independently and there is no problem. The bathroom also has hot air and can even change laundry. The yard is the owner's own, parking is convenient, and there are electric car charging piles, very advanced. The location is excellent, it is a famous resort area in the Highlands, surrounded by several places to hike. This B&B is 2 miles to the nearest national reserve, and the ones that are a little further are also 10 miles. You can even run two places a day. When I lived, I met a few Danes next door who also came hiking. But they didn't even drive and walked straight to the hiking point. The house owner is very enthusiastic and will introduce the house situation and usage in detail. It is a pity that I adjusted the 4-hour time difference, which means that I finished breakfast at 5 am in the local area and could not eat the breakfast provided by the store. But at that time, when you go out, you can directly see the big deer with the deer into the yard, which is a different flavor. Very good B&B, looking forward to coming back next time.

GGuest UserIt is said to be a very historical hotel. Just by the lake, the scenery is good. The door is the ferry boat, it is convenient to go to the other side, the car is 12 pounds once, people are free. Self-driving is OK, if you go to the town of Fort William, it is a bit around, and the ferry is much closer to the other side. There are no shopping and dining around. The hotel room is relatively small, we 3 people, a double bed, 1 bunk bed, 2 small rooms, the bathroom is also very small, the corridor is like a maze. Breakfast 8-10 is a way to order food. We chose breakfast with breakfast and also a point. Breakfast is not bad, recommended salmon scrambled eggs, Scottish salmon is delicious.

CCccccharlieOnly stayed for one night Very convenient for driving. But the hotel is remote, it will be troublesome if there is no car And there are no street lights nearby at night, it will be a bit scary But drive ten minutes directly to the nearby city center Free parking downstairs, very good There is no elevator in the hotel, you can only carry your luggage upstairs. The hotel is self-check in At the beginning, the password error needs to call the customer service phone to deal with the password problem before opening the door. But the problem was solved soon.
