This is a pretty standard hotel, but it's really close to the airport and they have a shuttle service, which is super convenient. It's also very quiet, making it perfect for travelers flying in or out, or those on a layover. The rooms are clean and tidy, and all the amenities you need are there, including a water heater. I especially liked how the toilet, sink, and shower are all separated – very well thought out. Overall, a great hotel that I'd definitely recommend.
We stayed one night at the Benczur Hotel, a building nestled on the beautiful street of the same name. The location was fantastic, quiet, peaceful, and gentle, situated in the diplomatic district, home to many embassies, consulates, ambassadorial residences, and headquarters of international organizations in Budapest. It was just a few minutes' walk to Heroes' Square and City Park with many of the city's landmarks. It was also very close to Bajza Utca station, the yellow M1 line (Europe's oldest metro line), which runs into the city center in a few minutes. The 3-star hotel was quite old, but well-maintained, the quality was still very good, clean, tidy, and the rooms were spacious enough. The traditional European breakfast was also quite varied and suitable for many people. We had a very good night's sleep in Budapest! We will definitely return. Thank you so much!
All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas.
The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.
Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.
Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.
Hence the reason for a lower review score.
Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.
Good location and convenient. Public transport is within 100-300 meters. Heroes square is hardly 300 meters. Rooms were clean and comfortable only thing missing was the electric kettle and complimentary coffee/tea and water. Bar opens 24/7 with many options of drinks and coffee but very limited options for food. Breakfast was good.
Good hotel. Area is a bit dodgy (Arena still has plenty of Keleti area homeless people), though it is well connected with M2 metro station right outside. Good breakfast. Good gym. Water facilities so-so: drainage in room shower slow, swimming pool/sauna not the most fresh looking. Overall recommended if price is right.
The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. The location is not close to public transport, but it is easy to call a car via app to the train station and soon be in the center of Budapest. The only bad thing is the breakfast. The breads are not fresh and there is little variety of fruits. They need to improve the breakfast.
This hotel is perfectly situated for sightseeing around the Buda Castle. Locations such as the Fishermen’s Bastion and the Museum and within easy walking distance (although including some stairs). The Chain Bridge is close, giving easy access to the sights in Pest.
The facilities in the hotel are excellent and the breakfast is top range.
The service is second to none. We received top service from the Room’s Division Manager.
I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it highly.
The room was spacious and very clean! I was also able to check in early, which was a real stroke of luck after being so used to the 3 PM check-in times at European hotels. Being able to check in at 12 PM was fantastic. Plus, the minibar was free.
The location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, and you can get to various attractions within 15 minutes.
The hotel is directly opposite the Parliament building, and you can even see it from the end of the hotel corridor. You can see it from the breakfast room too!
Feel like 2.5 stars accept the breakfast
Cleaning is minimal
Under the bad was a lot of mess
Also hotel service not the best
Looking good in the picture but wont compare
The room is quite big, 12 square meters refers to the room, the bathroom corridor area is not included, the total should be more than 20 square meters. It is a 3-star hotel that cleans once every 3 days. We requested cleaning, but the waiter did not do it. The hotel was very good about it, compensated us with a breakfast, and apologized repeatedly. Overall, it is satisfactory, 400 meters away from the subway M2, bus No. 1, and the nearby Nanjing Restaurant is a Chinese restaurant that we must eat every time we go to Budapest. The live fish from the Danube is super delicious.

@@travel_with_the_sunI had a great stay. The staff is very friendly and check-in is quick. Rooms & bathrooms are very clean. Housekeeping is doing a good job. The internet speed is very satisfying. I enjoy the kitchen, which offers plenty of space, well equipped and it even has an oven. I stayed there several times and like it very much. Location is also great, very central and you have all you need just nearby (supermarket, restaurants, snacks/fast-food...)
There could be some more activities initiated by the hostel to get people connected. Like cooking, boardgame night, etc...There is a WhatsApp Group, but at the moment I joined the group there were no activities/ chats in the 5 days I've been there.
GGuest UserNice small room perfect for sleeping after exploring the city the whole day. The neighbours don't make too much noise, the hotel is in the city centre so it's close to every major attractions in Budapest. It's also close to the subway. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. I recommend it for someone who wants to spend a weekend or longer in Budapest
GGuest UserThe overall service was excellent. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room was clean. It's located right on a bustling commercial street, which is a great spot. There are plenty of food options as soon as you step out, which is super convenient. I highly recommend this hotel! Five stars!

戴戴隽言My stay at Dormero Hotel Budapest was very pleasant. The hotel is ideally located, within walking distance of the city center and many major attractions, such as the Danube River, the Chain Bridge and the Holocaust Memorial. There are also many good cafes and restaurants around, and the transportation is also very convenient.
The whole room is very clean and tidy, full of modernity, and the color matching is simple but warm. The bed is comfortable, the pillow is soft, and the sleep quality is very good. The bathroom is clean, the hot water is sufficient, and the towels and toiletries are of good quality. The most special thing is that the room is equipped with a free minibar, which replenishes mineral water and several drinks every day, which makes me feel very considerate.
The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out are very efficient. Although some employees are not particularly fluent in English, there is no big problem in communication, and the service attitude is sincere.
GGuest UserThe location was perfect, there were a lot of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and the staff were very friendly ☺️ And the room was very spacious and clean, the shower was comfortable, and the price was great.. 🤍🖤👍🏿
+ All the drinks in the fridge were free.
HhhayiyaExcellent! The location is excellent, within walking distance of major attractions. The hotel is beautiful, and the service is warm and attentive. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserA beautiful place, not the first time we stay with the family in this hotel. This time we took a room more, it is beautiful, but it turned out to be 6 et, and the elevator up to 5 et. Next, the screw staircase under the roof. We had 3 big suitcases, it is not very convenient to pull them down the stairs. Bike number.also as a recommendation of the hotel administration, add a teapot and at least a few tea or coffee bags to the room (which is the usual practice in good hotels). People on the road are tired and it would be nice to drink hot tea rather than to wear shopping in search.
