Everyone says it takes 10 minutes to get to and from JR Hakodate Station, but it's less than 3 minutes from Matsukaze-cho (tramway) and less than 5 minutes from Omori-cho (bus), making it very convenient for travelers to and from Hakodate Airport. The tramway is also a major mode of transportation to various attractions in Hakodate. Furthermore, the lobby offers alcoholic beverages and washing machines, which is convenient for travelers.
I absolutely loved this hot spring hotel; it's the kind of place you'll never want to leave. Breakfast and dinner were served as a semi-buffet, with ingredients that truly showcased the hotel's unique character. The freshly squeezed juices, cherry tomatoes, sweet soup, and coffee regularly prepared in the lobby were all thoughtfully curated, and enjoying them from a seat with a view made the experience even better. The room was just as delightful, featuring a rocking chair and a lounge mat, perfect for watching the Pacific Ocean and sipping tea – absolutely blissful. The hotel's hot springs were beautiful, and the water quality was excellent. The outdoor baths also boasted stunning views, allowing you to watch the sea, stars, and seagulls, feeling truly at one with nature. There's also a foot bath and a 'happiness bell'. The hotel's two generations of resident dogs were also very beautiful and friendly.
It was my first time using the facility.
The sauna on the second floor was great. I also enjoyed the all-you-can-drink alcohol in the lounge, including wine. There was a wide selection, which is appreciated by guests.
The bento-style breakfast was just what I needed, and the portions were sufficient.
There was also a wide selection of bath additives available in front of the front desk. Considering the price, I think it's a truly excellent service.
I'm sure I'll use the facility again.
Thank you for your help.
The hotel has a good environment, far from the city, very quiet. It is a surprise to come with hot spring ♨️. It's just that the follow-up service of trip.com is poor. You have to work hard to contact the hotel yourself. I don't know that trip.com receive service charge is to provide this service quality.
The location is great, the facilities are great, and the room is very clean. The only downside is that the toilet in the standard double room is very small; you'll bump into it if you turn around. However, there is a free foot bath, a great public space (with limited-time free drinks), and a large public bath. Overall, I would give it a very high rating!
Because I rent a five-person cabin, the environment is very good, the facilities in the house are very complete, there are a few things to remind other friends that the hotel name is not Maolei Villa, but Maruyubu Hot Spring Villa, if you rent a car to go to the Internet to take you to a correct place, In addition, the hotel's noodle restaurant is to be booked. Fortunately, you can buy some food in the nearby village and go back to the cabin to eat hot pot. When you go out to buy it, you will see two big deer 🦌. A woman is super excited 🤩.
It's rare to find a hotel that can be booked online in a place like Cape Kamisaki. The quality is average. The room is large and has all the basic functions. The WiFi connection is not very stable, but the hotel owner's positive attitude makes people happy. move:)
I visited in early June and stayed for 2 nights. It turned from sunny to cloudy that day. Unfortunately, I didn't see the sunset. The lake view was beautiful. It was very hot in the room that day. I turned on the air conditioner but there was no wind at all, so I opened the window and just turned on the air conditioner. The wind was not blowing in from the direction of the window and we were sweating all the time. We had to call the front desk to ask if we could change rooms, but the answer was no, even though we had just arrived in the room. The front desk said they could provide electric fans, so we used them for 2 days, but it was really hot and it was very difficult to sleep at night because the quilt and bed were thick. I kept sweating while lying on them, and my face and body were sticky and itchy. Yes, people coming in summer should pay attention to air conditioning issues. It would be better to go there in autumn or winter.

AArieSfwxnI had a very nice stay here in winter. The snow was heavy and covered the cottage. It is so beautiful. They provide good amenities include the heater and kitchen. But the location was not ideal for public transportation. The nearest bus stop is 1.2km from the cottage -Fujiyama ( bus to Niseko station or any ski resort). However GoTaxi apps are available to save you. And the nearest convenient store 7E is about 1.7km from the cottage. I love to stay here and hopes to coming back next time. And from the cottage you will see a very nice view of Mount Yotei as well.
