The surroundings are lovely, and the hot springs are quite nice. Parking was convenient, though the room for five felt a bit cramped. I would definitely consider coming back.

The location is very convenient - close to the station and the bus terminal. The staff is friendly and polite. The room was clean (it was very small, but it was enough for me, because I was alone), the view from the window was pleasing) Cleaning was done once a day (with replacement of yukata, towels, toiletries and trash removal). Three onsen - on the 1st, 3rd floors and on the roof. I visited two - on the roof (it is VERY hot, but it was still great! Photo No. 2) and on the 3rd floor (it is also essentially in the open air, not as hot and also great, photos No. 3 and 4). Reservation of the time to visit the onsen was upon check-in (plus from a certain time all onsens worked as public, with free access). P.s. The local cats are adorable! 😊

The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were not only delicious but incredibly generous – you won't leave hungry! The private onsen bath was perfectly clean and so relaxing. What truly set this place apart was dining while watching trains gracefully pass through the beautiful mountain landscape. It was a truly perfect and memorable stay.”

I had a great stay. The owners are super lovely and will go out of their way to help you. I highly recommend the breakfast and dinners, they were great for big days of hiking and convenient as there aren't too many food options up in the mountains. The train carriages have a large sleeping area and a connected large room to store your things or just to hang out. Yes the pillows are like a bag of rice but it's part of the experience! Great place to stay and great value.

The hotel is beautiful, the room has a hot spring, in addition you can book another hot spring for family use. It is recommended to stay two days to enjoy the hotel itself. Breakfast included, was service, lots of food, the whole table, staff super nice. It is a bit troublesome to get in and out of the hotel, to call a taxi, around 1000yen, several people share is ok. if you wanna bike there, it is almost impossible because there are some hills in between the hotel and the town. The only drawback is that the hotel has no shuttle service and is a little expensive. But the environment is beautiful, clean, good service.

Much older than expected. . . . Or you can use antique/existence history to describe 😅😅 Because of the night check-in, there is a certain level of terror. . . 😅😅 The store can only communicate in Japanese, but the store actively uses translation software to assist in communication, which is a sincere performance 👍👍 But the last thing I didn't understand was that I booked a room in the Japanese style, but finally got a foreign style room. . . . 😅😅 There is a luggage elevator in one hand, and people have to go up and down the stairs by themselves (the third floor at that time) Air conditioning is newly installed 👍👍 When checking out, because the aunt and aunt are using the luggage elevator to do work, you have to carry your luggage and drop it downstairs 😅😅 There is a large open space in front of the store for free parking 👍👍

Lovely authentic Japanese house in beautiful country side. The owner is a nice man who speaks good English and takes good care of the house. In addition to the shared bathroom, kitchen and living room, that there are 3 rooms with futon beds, separated by a thin paper wall. Each room can host 2 to 3 guests. If rooms are full, you can hear everything as if there was no separation. I could literally hear people whispering. The owner offered me to use a scooter for free during my 2 days stay, which is awesome. There are some nice hikes to do in the area. The hike along the river to the Inukai JR station 15km away was amazing (there are closer JR stations). You'll love this place if you are looking for an authentic experience in a quiet rural setting.

The accommodation is clean and the facilities are five-star, making it very suitable for families with children. However, younger children may need some extra care. The only drawback is that transportation is slightly inconvenient; driving is recommended. There is a kitchen with complete cooking utensils. Providing bicycles for guests to go down the mountain to shop would be even better.

Right upon arrival, I was struck by how beautiful and stylish the inn's exterior was. The room truly lived up to its pictures – it was spacious and comfortable. The onsen, however, was a little too hot for my liking! The dinners were also exquisite and very satisfying; one night was chicken hot pot, and the second was beef shabu-shabu. Although the room didn't have a private shower/bath, this wasn't a major issue as a toilet was available within the room. The location was great, close to Kinrin Lake, and taking a stroll along the small river was very pleasant.
