5* hotel booked to end our trip in style.
Bar staff and cleaners were super happy, polite and love to great the guests in the hotel.
Reception staff were generally unhelpful. I tried to book activities and excursions, but was initially told to go the hotel next door before being given a random book
While trying to sort late check out one receptionist began serving another customer over my head. Late check out was eventually agreed to which was helpful but after being sat face to face in silence for minutes.
Facilities are wonderful. Nice private beach, great pool area. Two bars and buffet style restaurant with ala carte option.
Locals got charged significantly less for our event dinner. Some would say that's fair, others would disagree, but not being transparent probably suggests it was trying to be hidden.
Service wasn't 5*. When we arrived our bedding was ripped and had a huge hole in it. Thankfully this was fixed, but I think atleast 2/3 people came to check before it was resolved.
Please take a closer look if you come to Negombo. I booked two rooms, but when they arrived, they were connected to a suite separated by a door. The surroundings are relatively remote. Breakfast is 3 US dollars per person, but the quality is very good. We originally spent the night in Negombo, and the elephant orphanage the next day, in fact, there is really no need to waste money in the elephant orphanage. Because I only used Ctrip to watch, I feel that Negombo has no good hotels at all. In fact, there are many good hotels here! There are many delicious gourmet shops. But to book this kind of reservation, Ctrip has very few listings.
Grand Place Hotel in Seeduwa is a comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially for airport transit travelers. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and the overall atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Great value for money and a pleasant stay.
The overall style of the hotel is retro and tasteful, the interior decoration is very particular, and every corner has an old-fashioned exquisite feeling. The location is very good, but the city is quiet and convenient for travel during the day. However, there is an access control at 10 o'clock in the evening, and you have to contact the housekeeper if you want to enter and exit. In addition, there are mosquitoes in the room, pay attention to activities at night, and the bathroom shower is not smooth. Overall, it is suitable for people who like retro atmosphere and quiet environment, but there are some minor problems in convenience and small facilities.
I recently stayed at the this Hotel, and it exceeded all expectations. The impeccable service, from check-in to departure, made my stay truly memorable. The room was elegantly furnished, offering both comfort and style. The breathtaking view of the city from my window was a delightful bonus. The hotel's attention to detail, coupled with a diverse and delicious breakfast spread, showcased a commitment to guest satisfaction. The central location allowed easy access to key attractions. Overall, the Parkview Hotel is a haven of luxury, providing an outstanding experience that ensures I'll be returning on my next visit. Highly recommended.

I stayed for one night in transit. Staff are all very kind and helpful. Airport pick up was given as a welcome gift. Breakfast was with various fruit and Sri Lankan dishes which were.beautiful and made my stomach easy for the next leg of air travel. I loved the morning of step garden resort. It was cool with pleasant breeze with a view of plants and trees and birds’ chirping. One down point was the bed sheet with stains. I don’t think they didn’t wash them but couldn’t get the dirt out.

➕
All the staff are friendly.
Number of items on the breakfast buffet. Western food, Sri Lankan food, Indian food, so you won't get tired of it every day.
There are two pools, so you don't have to be crowded.
There was a gym and a daily program, and I participated in morning and evening training sessions, but since I was the only one there, I was given one-on-one instruction, which was really fun.
The cleaners are very friendly.
The room was spacious and I could hear the birds singing.
Being able to see the sunset on the nearby beach every day.
➖
When I wanted to grab a few drinks and grab a bite to eat in the evening, the Italian restaurant was closed and when I tried to use the bar, there weren't many vegetarian or vegan options.
Nothing around.
The nearby beach has too high waves for swimming.

MMH RONYGood location. they don't have a spa but when i was booking they showed me they have a spa. The room was very hot because my room was on the 2nd floor, The hotel was also just two floors. Balcony was very nice you can see the sea from balcony.
SSmithStayed while waiting for a flight the next day as my original flight was cancelled due to the virus. The staff were very kind and let me use the room after checkout time due to the special situation. Loads of bugs at night because the room has many gaps and holes to the outside world and the hotel is surrounded by countryside. Did t use any amenities, but the pool looked nice. A good space and quiet area to relax
