All the staff members at this hotel were wonderful and helpful, however the hotel did not live up to my expectations. It was located near a construction site and I did not feel safe venturing out after dark to look for food. So I skipped dinner and paid an additional fee for breakfast, which made me feel queasy the rest of the day. The TV did not work and the light switches were confusing. After breakfast, my room key stopped working and I couldn't get into my room. Luckily there was a maid in the hallway and she left me in. My room had a kitchenette with a sink and cabinets but wasn't even stocked with a plate, utensils or even a glass. I bought some crisps and a soft drink in the convenience store on site, it would have been nice to have a plate and glass. The hotel where I stayed for the previous two nights was much better appointed, in a better location and much cheaper. Getting a taxi to and from there was challenging and frustrating.

The hotel location is good and well maintained. However, during breakfast, there was confusion about the charge 72 or 73 MAD . One staff member named Mustafa charged 73 MAD but my sister was paid 72 MAD . I keep asking what is the correct amount . Later,Mustafa was rude when returning 1 MAD difference, showing a bad attitude. Another staff member, Aissam, politely apologised on his behalf. Aissam professionalism and courtesy were greatly appreciated, and he deserved to have credit Hope the hotel management can improve staff behaviour and ensure consistent service and breakfast replenishment.

Morocco navigation positioning has a deviation of tens of meters, so according to the navigation is to circle nearby, not only us, but also the local driver who came to pick us up the next day. In fact, it is convenient to write, from the entrance of the city wall to the right side of the alley, see the picture. It should be considered a homestay, call the boss in advance, otherwise there may be no one. In fact, there is no early morning, but the room is still very good to sleep. Except for us, all the young people live. After all, the price is only 300 yuan. Note that you must change some local currency at the airport first. There are many small shops around the place, and you can also eat late.

The hotel is located in the old city, very close to the gate of the old city, just a few steps away. The butler’s attitude was very nice, he prepared mint tea for us to welcome in, and at night he also introduced very affectionate restaurants that are mostly foreigners. There is a beautiful courtyard and a restaurant, you can take nice photos, and you can overlook the city from the terrace. The room is very clean and well-equipped. The most surprising thing is the bathroom, which can take very beautiful photos A friend said that this is her favorite hotel so far.

The Barcelo Palm is a five-star hotel in the heart of Marrakech, Morocco, with stunning views and luxurious facilities. The hotel's swimming pool is an excellent place to relax, offering guests the opportunity for a refreshing swim and sunbathing. The service of the hotel is also very good, the staff always keep a smile and enthusiasm, provide high-quality service to the guests, and make people feel at home. The hotel's food is also very good, there are many restaurants and bars for guests to choose from. Whether you want to try local delicacies or enjoy international favourites, here you will find something to suit your palate. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the environment is comfortable, adding a lot of color to the dining experience. The most striking thing is the beautiful scenery of the hotel, where there are spectacular mountains and lush forests, as well as huge gardens and ancient buildings, making people feel like they are in a fairyland. The design and decoration of the hotel is also beautiful, reflecting the culture and tradition of Morocco, which makes people fascinated by this exotic country. Overall, Barcelo Palm is a perfect resort with food, service, facilities and views. If you want to enjoy the food, culture and nature of Morocco, then this hotel is definitely an ideal choice.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a disappointing experience with the front desk staff, specifically the two girls on duty during my check-in at 9 PM. Despite my reservation, I had to wait over 30 minutes for a room, which turned out to be different from the one I booked. Despite informing them of our anniversary, the staff's response was unhelpful. The initial room's view was changed without acknowledgment, and the alternative offered was worse. Only after speaking to the manager ( it's worth noting that the manager I spoke to was exceptionally friendly and understanding) did we receive a better room, but it still wasn't the one we booked. The lack of consideration for our special occasion made it a frustrating experience overall.

BBellinisThe check-in process was good for customer service, but my room experience was terrible. I booked a superior suite, but I ended up with a regular room. I was informed that the person who was supposed to be in the room decided to stay another day. When I checked online, I found that the room was still available for reservation. The next day, when I asked to switch to my reserved room, I was told that it was booked again and that I should check back in line. Surprisingly, the same room was still available for reservation. I feel like they were scamming people by booking a suite at a higher price and then giving them a cheaper room. The night crew member was very friendly and informed me that the manager was traveling. However, I don’t understand who is responsible for managing the website and ensuring that the correct room is posted when it’s available. I tried to contact them via phone and email, but nothing happened. I hope that Trip guide and the hotel will take responsibility for their actions and make sure that this doesn’t happen to other customers. I could have booked a different suite that had a similar aesthetic to what I was looking for, but I couldn’t even cancel the reservation. There should be a system in place for booking a specific room, and if the room is not available, the customer should receive an automatic refund. It’s their job to figure out when the room is available and what type of room it is. Additionally, the room had a bunch of knickknacks, and the table, wall, and bottom of the table were all chipped, cracked.

Ggreenberry323Cleanliness There are two blankets on the bed, and you sleep sandwiched between them, but the blankets are not washed. They are just folded and set up every morning. Of course, there are no sheets, so I think this is a place for people who don't mind. The living room, shower room, and toilet were old but clean. Location It is within walking distance from the old town. It is difficult to get there, but it is easy once you get used to it. The streets of Marrakech are like a maze, and I think it is difficult to get to any of the accommodations, so there is no particular downside to the score. Service It is a riad, and the relaxing space on the rooftop was nice. It was a clear day in February, about 22 degrees, with a gentle breeze, and it was very comfortable. The living room was also nice. Facilities and amenities Toilet paper available Shampoo and body soap not available Sheets not available Towel rental 15dh Breakfast was 4€ or 40dh, and dinner was 9€ or 90dh. (February 2025) Please note that the accommodation tax is 2.5€ per night and can only be paid in cash, so bring euros. I didn't mind it, but the top bunk of the bunk bed had an unfixed ladder, a low fence only 7cm high, and was about 2m high, so I don't think it would be suitable for people with a fear of heights. I had a fun stay because I could play with the cats.

FFede UrThe Riad is absolutely lovely — charming Moroccan design, a peaceful courtyard, and a rooftop terrace perfect for breakfast or winding down. The location is ideal, just a short walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa, yet quiet enough to relax. Our room was spotless, the air-con worked well, and everything felt clean and fresh. Breakfast was generous and tasty, served on the terrace with a relaxed vibe. I’m giving 4 out of 5 for service only because staff didn’t regularly check the rooms. Sometimes essentials like toilet paper or… weren’t restocked unless we asked. The team was friendly, but a little more attention would’ve made it perfect. Overall, it’s a beautiful stay and I’d absolutely recommend it.

Great
AAppleKWonderful location walking distance to most of attractions in Marrarkech 10 minutes from Jewish Quarter, Palais Badi, Bab Agnaou, 10 - 15 minutes to La Koutoubia, Le Jardin Secret. However we got lost looking for the Riad when arriving the first day. It would have been helpful if more clear and detailed directions were given (not just a map) with the booking confirmation. The Riad is very clean. Staff cleaned our room and changed towels everyday. Breakfast was simple but transitional and delicious, limited plastic packaging involved very environmental friendly - love it. Overall we enjoyed our staying and definitely recommend anyone who are looking for Marrakech Riad experience.

TTravelor-SThe room is in the old town, but the front desk sent someone to pick up the luggage and it was fine. The traditional Moroccan architecture is elegant and grand, with a unique interior decoration style. Our two rooms are in the new building and the old building, respectively, and each is different. The breakfast is simple but very exquisite, and you can experience a delicious meal in the sound of birds.

AAngelleDidn’t know much about the Riad’s in Morocco but after the stay I understood the culture more. We arrived at night and couldn’t find the Riad for a while some locals helped us locate it through the alleyways (They did demand tips but we didn’t have enough small cash yet) It was scarier walking through the alleyways than it seemed but quite a chaotic main road. The inside was lovely couldn’t tell too much on arrival but the next day you could see the beautiful interior. Clean and accommodating. The host was friendly and recommend lots to do. The breakfast wasn’t for me but my friend enjoyed it

FFrankDon’t be shocked when you’re taken to a cheap back office beside the portal of the hotel after you arrived. It’s here where the check-in and check-out and all the guest related issues are handled. After you’re cleared you’re lead through a luxuriously decorated hall that seems to have been designed to be the reception of a five star hotel. The actual purpose of it was never revealed. The service was acceptable at best. One had the impression the personal was hiding from the guests. That said the hotel has marvelous premisses and the suites are decorated tastefully. The pool is too cold!

GGuest UserValue for money very bad and misleading advertising: The location is great, the servers are super nice and helpful BUT: 1. totally chemical orange juice low end at breakfast 2. pool without overflow and especially dirty, without filtration. We had to clean it ourselves several times. 3. very incomplete meal card: there are many things missing. Too bad!!!
