The hotel's primary focus on Chinese guests is evident in its services and amenities, which are predominantly in Chinese. This should be clearly stated in the hotel description on the booking websites. The villa itself is well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with everything you need. The beds and linens are of good quality, the toiletries are nice, and the bathroom is modern and clean. The air conditioner is quiet, but the external unit is quite noisy. The exterior and garden are lovely and clean.
The breakfast buffet was subpar, with cold food and coffee that required guests to microwave (completely in Chinese) it themselves, which was also a major inconvenience. Yet, the variety and quality of food was good and tasty. The staff seemed indifferent to the lack of coffee and food, and the lady who came to ”check” on us only brought coffee when we asked. Overall, our stay was satisfactory, but this place definitely needs to improve its hospitality and guest service. Given the above this place is too overpriced.

The room is very clean and feels newly renovated. It is simple and nice looking.
The sockets in the room do not need adapters, which is very convenient.
Washing machine and breakfast are provided. It is very close to the tourist pier and very convenient for going out to sea.
The lady at the front desk is very nice

Snorkeling and paddleboarding are available, but there are no parties at night. Night fishing isn't really an option as no rods are provided. However, being a new overwater villa, the accommodation is very clean, and the surrounding water quality is excellent and incredibly clear. Seafood is served for dinner. Breakfast and lunch, however, were rather uninspired, typical of what you'd find in Southeast Asia. The value for money is good if you prioritize the pristine water quality, but the room itself is quite basic, essentially just a bed and a bathroom.

Very good small town B&B. Don't expect star-rated hotels like those in big cities in Semporna. As long as you manage your expectations well, you will be very satisfied. The hygiene is good in the small town. It is newly renovated and very close to the pier and the town center.
It is especially worth mentioning that the boss is a big brother from Northeast China. He is very nice and will help answer various travel questions in advance. He will provide a lot of help after checking in. I didn't get a yacht, so the big brother helped me book the yacht ticket through his own connections, which was cheaper than booking online. When I couldn't get a taxi from the pier, the big brother drove to pick me up. Chinese people can't go wrong if they book this.

i had problem during my check in process where they can't find my booking and the room was occupied by other visitors. i booked 4 months in advance but still they missed my book. and at first they cant help me out, and ask me to make a phone call to that trip.com. i was so disappointed at that time because is late at night, and i already paid for it in advance. But luckily one of the staff offered me to stay in another kind of room without any extra charges.

Abit inaccessible for older people. There is no lift. Have to carry your heavy luggages up the stairs. The room has basic necessities. Clean. Our room toilet tiles are not fixed properly. Have to wear slippers to ensure that we dont hurt ourselves. Good to wash and hang our clothes outside to dry. But have to ensure that u dont lose it. Its a shared open space.

The location is not very convenient! But there were few tourists staying there, the owner was very friendly and prepared dinner himself, which was very delicious, quiet and leisurely! Next time I come to Semporna, I will stay here again!

MMonikaMy boyfriend and I always enjoy staying in hidden gems. This vegan, environmental friendly, family run resort was exactly what we were looking for. It’s a small and intimate property right on the beach. May I add... the beach stretches very far with no one in sight!
This resort is perfect for families and couples that want to have quality time with one another.
