Pet Friendly Hotels in Faro District, Portugal

Brilliantly located in Lagos, just set back from the port. Rooms are spotlessly clean and great amenities. Housekeeping crew tremendous and generally the staff are polite and on hand to help - 2 guys doing the concierge role were great. Breakfast was marvellous. The only downside to my stay, was the spa facilities: both the steam room and sauna were out of order and the small poolside jacuzzi, was rather hit and miss. That said, was great VFM and would certainly stay again.

One of the best stays in Europe vacation.. view was stunning and enjoyed every bit of our time there.. breakfast spread was amazing and sparkling wine included was cherry on top.. highly recommended ..unfortunately pool was under renovation during our however no complaints since the weather was too cold to enjoy swimming pool

Review of Bordoy Grand House Algarve Our stay at the Bordoy Grand House Algarve was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely personal — every staff member made us feel completely at home, without being overbearing. The hotel itself is stunning. It’s beautifully restored with vintage charm and elegant touches throughout. We loved the rooftop pool and bar area — the perfect place to unwind with views over the Guadiana River. The location is ideal too, just a short stroll from the marina and town square. One of the highlights was the food. Breakfast was a delight — fresh, high-quality, and served in a peaceful setting. We also had dinner at the Grand Salon Restaurant and it was incredible — a fine dining experience with local flair and beautifully presented dishes. The little touches made all the difference — from the turn-down service to the thoughtfully curated interiors. We left feeling relaxed, pampered, and already planning our return.

The apartment is spacious but very dated. It also smelled strongly of smoke. The hallway also smelled of smoke. After the neighbors opened the door, the smell became even stronger. We suspect smoking in the apartments. The breakfast is really minimal. Only cold food and coffee from a machine. However, the staff is very friendly, and the location is convenient. You can walk to the boulevard and the city center within 5 minutes.

From Check in to check out the Cascades team could not have done more to accommodate our Valentines visit to thier Wellness Resort. Jaoa on check in and Anita Santos, Guest Service are great Ambassadors for there employers. Accommodation, Spa, Restaurant, bar ( thank you Mario) all delivered more than expected. We will definitely return. Thank you all - Appreciated.

Breakfast is delicious. Egg tarts and espresso are the best. Sunrise can be seen from the front of the room.

Location of the resort is spot on. Good to stay who likes all SUPs, surfing etc. Resort is okay with amenities. You will not find any toiletries other than shampoo, body wash in bathroom so bring your own. I booked 4 bed apartment. one double bed and one sofa cum bed. Double bed was really good but at the same time sofa cum bed was not so comfortable. Room was very cold when we and it took whole night to get warm with heater. Swimming pool is ofcourse not in use due to winter time. so all in all the stay was okay, we can get better service, amenities, facility with the same room rates in other hotels.

Very nice, comfortable and clean facilities and super friendly staff

Accommodation doesn't match the price/quality. Poor internet, television without national channels. Only Android service is available, limiting television access. Coupled with poor quality, you end up looking at the television and seeing a still image and a loading symbol. The rooms require updating. There are many areas for improvement, although the staff is excellent and strives to do their best to provide a pleasant stay.

Top level hotel and people. I now 5 stars, they know what they are doing. Very few hotels in the region are at that level. A go-to venue.
