The woman at check out wasn't particularly friendly. The bathroom was very very old. Otherwise you have to say the hotel showed itself from a good side. The beds were modern and the fridge worked very well! Outside area and breakfast room seemed very modern. The hotel also had air conditioning. According to the booking information, there shouldn't be air conditioning.

Apart from the absence of parking space everything was fine inside the hotel : cleanliness, customer service, great breakfast... The only negative was a bad experience my wife had at the hotel's Hair salon: very bad treatment from the salon guy! Unacceptable!

The breakfast is good, and the hotel is clean! I highly recommend others to stay here, and the sea view is also beautiful~It is Suitable for couples or business person to come!

I really liked the hotel and staff for my visit this year. Yes minor faults in the room, but this is a 3-star hotel, so did not expect a flawless experience. The staff was always friendly and helpful, I was mainly there for warmer weather and ankle rehab via the pool onsite, which I might add was great. The O'Brian bar staff are busy at times and that can delay service, but it's not meant to be busy like a UK pub. The room was acceptable with a balcony view of a new build called the Trilogy, so although they started work at 6.30 am the double-glazed door kept a vast amount of the noise out. The best balcony experience would be poolside as this captures the sun for most of the day, and 1st floor has an extended balcony with a table and a sun umbrella. The reception also has a supply of towels for the pool, so you do not have to take the towels out of your room. Checking in and out was great, and they have a spare area for luggage to be kept after checking out so you can still explore the area before your taxi arrives back at the airport. I shall look forward to returning to this hotel, based on the service and the prices.

The hotel is located on the promenade in Limassol although not very close to the marina area near which all the activity centers in the evening are located. At the same time, there is a convenient bus line No. 30 that travels along the entire boardwalk and is easy to get to the marina and reaches the final stop at the mall in the port area a little outside the city. Back on the same route. There is no reality in this mall and in Cyprus in general. The hotel is located right on the waterfront, there is a pool for adults, a pool for children and a pool for toddlers and an indoor pool where the water is too cold and there is also an air conditioner. At the entrance to the sea there are small and large stones and for those who are not used to it, it hurts and you can get injured. Therefore, it is recommended to wear rubber shoes or enter the water on top of the plastic dock that reaches deep. Arriving at the hotel in Larnaca is possible by taxi which costs about 50 euros. The most economical way is to take the shuttle bus which costs 10 euros per person, less for a child. Buyer's card in the archway near the exit of the terminal on the left. Get off at its first stop in Limassol called St. Raphael and from there take bus line 30 with a journey of at least 10 stops. Costs 1.5 euros, pay the driver. Get off in front of the entrance to the restaurant called ”The Garden” in English, ask the driver. Continue walking about 40 meters and turn left in the alley leading to the hotel, there is a sign. The hotel looks nice mainly in the public areas, lobby. The rooms are smaller, simple and understated furniture, nothing fancy. The safe could not be opened, maybe for a fee. There is a kettle with coffee. small fridge. Wired internet computer connection, for a fee. The breakfast is fine, no changes. There is what is needed for the Israeli menu, I was missing white Greek cheeses and types of pastries. The hotel is suitable for adults, couples and those who want peace because there is not much to do in it and in the area, apart from relaxing and swimming in the sea or the pool. The hotel has breakfast and it is also possible to pay lunch for 23 euros and dinner for 28 euros, not including drinks. free water Returning to the field in Larnaca is possible by the same route, line 30 to St. Rafael and from there the shuttle to the airport. There is no reality in duty free there, the price is the same as abroad and in Israel.

A great and very stylish new Hotel !!! The receprionist Staff was very friendly and absolutely profesional, treat their customers always with a smile and respect. Guest relation manager (Jamie) will do always his best to assist you !!! As for the location great, no car needed at all, close to all great places to visit by foot !!! We went with Jet2 to this hotel and returned on 10th February so quite up to date feedback. I emailed the hotel beforehand with a couple of questions and some ”preferences” and my requests were taken on board when we arrived. The hotel is in a lovely location, not too far from the beach and a promenade that goes to the new port in one direction and about 8 miles in the other. A bus stop is at the end of the road and the local bus 30 costs 1.50 Euro no matter how far you travel on the route. Buses go to Nicosia and Larnaca from a nearby bus stop 7 Euros return. We arrived quite late and after a brief wash and change of clothes we went to dinner. (7 - 9.30pm). A wide choice of fresh salads or soup to start with and then 3 choices of meat/fish, vegetables, pasta potatoes etc., all freshly cooked and delicious. Dessert was a choice of small cakes, panacota and fruit salad and fresh fruit. The food for the main courses changed each evening, but not the quality - always great. Breakfast was buffet style with continental style food, full English and lovely thick porridge - coffee, fruit juice provided. Our room was comfortable and had seating at one end, with a fairly big TV on the wall - nothing worth watching except Sky news). TVs downstairs allowed me to watch Premiership football, but some finished very late as Cyprus is 2 hours ahead of UK. Sea/pool facing balcony (211). A couple of things wrong which were sorted within 30 minutes of being pointed out. Tea/coffee facilities were available plus a fridge which was very useful. We had half board but if we couldn't make dinner we could have lunch instead. Hotel staff were great, especially Marina, the room steward and in the dining room Kostatinos and Nicholas. Other staff in the dining room were also very helpful. 3 nights a week the diners were entertained with live music and on one evening Greek style dancing too! The rooms were serviced daily with clean towels and toiletries. There is a gym, a heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool, but too cold to use in January/February. Lots of seating around the outside of the hotel. There is an extensive book swop which we found useful I read the reviews before I went and I was apprehensive to an extent but once there I was able to make my own mind up, as written above. I have nothing but praise for the hotel and think the moaners must work for another hotel to make the Kapetanios look bad. I wish Jet2 promoted this hotel more as it is ideal for couples and families and reasonably priced too.

It was a great experience staying in the Mediterranean City of Dreams for 2 nights! The room is large and new, the bed is very comfortable, and the balcony view is unbeatable; The breakfast is very rich, the latte coffee is delicious, and the Chinese restaurant is particularly recommended. The barbecued pork and roast duck are very good, completely beyond expectations;

Lovely place to stay at, a bit overpriced but overall we had a wonderful experience. Lost a few points on the several delays we had. Both from room service and team. The main manager gifted us a lovely bouquet though and made us feel warm. The manager at Locatelli, Mario, his team, and Chief gave us the best experience ever!!! We have returned several times to eat there and they took care of us every single time. Preparing amazing vegan/vegetarian food and Apu, our waiter, ensured that everything was amazing. The spa facilities are unique, we enjoyed all areas and the salt pool but the massage was so-so, for the price we payed. The breakfast area was very loud, waiters were arguing and it was very noisy. The constant music blasting everywhere was also not aligned with the serenity that this place aims to create. We were on the top floors and we could still hear the pool music until late hours. We will return back to Locatelli for sure. As far as staying there..we might give it another try.

Went 30 December 2022 to spent the last couple of days of the year in what it supposed to be a cosy mountainous hotel set up. It was just that. A cosy refurbished old hotel in the middle of a forest, a short walking distance from Platres village. There is a huge history concerning the role the hotel played as the place for the rich and famous in the early 20th century until the end of the 80's. Royals, movie stars and wealthy individuals stayed at the hotel, photos of which are everywhere. The room was clean, the temperature was perfect and everything worked just fine. The a la cart menu offers few choices, but the food quality was above average to our satisfaction. Not expensive as well. The wine list was short and was focused to local wineries from which there was a handful of worth to try (if you are familiar with the local varieties or if you can get help from the head waiter). Excellent service at the restaurant, smiling faces everywhere and helpful staff in every corner. Taking under consideration the fact that is a facility deep in the forest, old and with a well established mountainous character, it is unfair to judge the simplicity of the design or the lack of 5 modern star building materials. You get what you pay and that is not a high end 21st century super luxury hotel. There is of course room for improvement starting from the unacceptable condition of the private road when you enter the gates heading upwards for the Hotel (about 4 hundred meters). It's totally destroyed and no maintenance have been taken place for decades. There is no lighting to help you avoid the holes so if you are not cautious your car might end up with some kind of damage. If this piece of road is part of the land that belongs to the hotel , then this is totally unacceptable. Generally though a good experience.

In fact, this hotel is really cheap, cost-effective, location is very good, there is a big supermarket next to it. The only downside is that the room network is too bad, but the network speed in the lobby on the first floor is OK. In addition, the room does not provide hot water, and the whole room is an old-fashioned socket. I think the breakfast is very good, anyway, it meets my appetite. After all, the money is so small, it can't be so high, and there is a convenient parking lot.

Excellent Boutique hotel. Highlights Very warm check in at reception, included a refreshing drink Staff we so nice, very polite and always asking how my stay was and everything was ok. I would say they were an excellent asset to the hotel Food amazing, great value, did not have anything that i did not like All areas are very clean and well maintained For a small establishment there are many spots you can sit, relax and enjoy. Cleaning ladies do a great job, daily cleaning with turn down service in the evenings. They set up a wide screen TV for football lover Breakfast buffet could not fault it, caters for everyone. Finally i have to mention the Potato fries, home made and best i have tasted. Low lights None. Would highly recommend this hotel for couples and families, little gem of a place and i will try and bring my family next time i visit.

We reserved two weeks at Icon with the intention of securing an Airbnb for the remainder of our stay on Cyprus. We were so comfortable we ended up extending our stay to almost a month. Our two bedroom corner apartment was very comfortable and bright, spacious and had a great terrace with views. The only drawback was the limited kitchen on an extended stay. (The one bedroom units have a much larger and more usability kitchen) A big thank you to Christine and Alex at reception. Your daily welcoming smiles and conversations were a highlight and made us feel at home. Also to the night security, my apologies for not remembering his name, who provided a jump start when the battery on our rental car died. The onsite restaurant is excellent for both food and service. Only thing lacking in our stay is the pool area is through the restaurant. Loungers are not places out in the winter even though the weather is quite conducive to its use and it did not create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere to Its use.

Good The staff are friendly ,great location to beach and only a short bus ride to Mariana that cost 1 euro 50 cents .Free air condition and a free safe. Rooms are large with comfy bed. Bad Towels get changed after 3 days ,but if one is on the floor they take it and do not replace it . Balcony was dirty along with sun beds and the shower tray was also dirty. Room gets the bin emptied every 3 days along with bed made but that was it for cleaning. I would book a sea view room as you could be next to a very busy dual carriageway with motor bikes zooming all night if not. Ugly Large group booking of around 40 mixed sexed dance group from Italy booked in .The behaviour of the Italians was disgraceful boom boxes ,rowdy, laid on sun beds imitating sex with family’s with children about. Taking over the pool area with no regards for anyone else. sitting on the steps to the pool smoking and not allowing you to pass. All this in view of the hotel staff and nothing said . If you want a peaceful holiday as large group bookings are allowed you might not get one. I would rate the hotel as 2 star .

This is a great hotel! We stayed as a family of 3 and have found it to be very pleasant! Rooms are a fair size and cleaned every day, with fresh linen and towels (apart from Sunday) Good selection of drinks! And the ice creams were nice! Pool area is clean and has everything you need, and we never struggled to find sun loungers (may be a struggle in peak season though) The snack bar was fantastic and the staff were lovely! Infact the majority of staff were very nice and all spoke very good English; Food was OK, not the worst and not the best, the oriental food was beautiful though! Breakfast, not bad, lunch, great (we just used the snack bar which made nice toasties and sandwiches), evening meal, my partner is fussy but I did find it ok, especially the oriental food! Greek night was probably the worst for food, BBQ was ok (bit smoky, bring an inhaler if you’re asthmatic) and we are yet to try the Italian restaurant. Balcony is a little small, nowhere to hang towels/ clothes to dry (definitely bring a travel clothes line with you) We weren’t huge fans of the night time entertainment, some of what we did see was great but some was not so great (however there are plenty of things going on through the day, I think it depends on your personal preference), we just prefer to go and explore the area. We did play bingo a couple of times (top prize money too!) One other thing to note (could be a pro/ con depending) but Limassol itself is absolutely huge, I completely underestimated the size of the place, however there is a regular 10 minute bus service (number 30) but it does get very very busy. (Tip: download the “Moovit” app and it has live bus times/ journey planner) Limassol itself is very spread out (it’s not like some places where everything is on one *****) and it takes around 20 mins by bus to get to the marina and old town. The people here all speak very good English though (even the locals speak to eachother in English) and I found it to be a relatively safe area even at night time. The water park was a great trip out as well, definitely worth going! (Only open Fri-Sun when we went) I wouldn’t return, but again that’s a personal preference and we aren’t people to go to the same place twice. But if you’ve booked this hotel, fear not as it is a decent place and I would rate it 4 stars! If you want a nice 4 star then this is the place!

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast was very nice and very fresh, all in all great value for the money , the rooms are big and bright with a lovely view of the pool and the sea

We booked to stay here through TUI for a week long all inclusive stay! On arrival we were given cold towels and a glass of Prosecco for whilst we checked in. We also received some fruit and a bottle of wine to our room shortly after checking in which was a lovely touch! Our room was clean and tidy when we arrived and throughout our stay it was cleaned daily with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and hand wash topped up whenever we were getting low. All of these products were really good so I would say you don’t need to bring any of your own! However the hotel shop does have a good supply of toiletries if you need anything. The rooms come with a mini fridge that is restocked every day with a large bottle of water (that they encourage you to refill at 2 of the refill stations within the hotel), 2 beers and 2 soft drinks. The room also had a kettle, hair dryer and plenty of UK and USB plug sockets. The staff in the restaurant were amazing, we were always seated quickly with the option to choose between an inside or outside table. The breakfast buffet had everything from fresh fruit, pastries, pancakes, cereal and a fry up! With lots of choice of juices, tea and coffee. The dinner buffet had a great variety every night and always something different to try. We only used the lunch buffet a few times but there was always something different. For the days that we didn’t use the lunch buffet we either had a sandwich from the bar or we took advantage of Sands Beach Bar over the road, the food and drinks here were amazing (we highly recommend the Cubanita fresh juice) and with a lovely view of the ocean! We ate at the A La Carte restaurant on our last night and the food, drinks and service were absolutely amazing! Our only regret of the holiday is leaving this to the last night as we would’ve loved to eaten there again. The TUI blue entertainment team were amazing, there was always something happening to look forward to from pool activities to pebble painting and of course their “famous silent disco”! The team were also really helpful with booking excursions and general knowledge about the local area and public transport. The number 30 bus takes you into Limassol for €2 and comes regularly to the bus stop just outside the hotel. All of the bar staff were really friendly and very quick. During the day around the pool there were a couple staff members walking around to take orders and bring you drinks to your pool lounger. We were always able to get a seat around the pool no matter what time we went. During the evening entertainment on the lobby terrace the bar staff always made sure that we had a drink and regularly walked around to check that everything was okay. We would highly recommend staying here, the holiday exceeded both mine and my boyfriends expectations!

The standard of a four-star hotel is on the newly renovated side, so although the hotel is not new, the room is very new and clean. It is on the beach and the surrounding environment is also good, but the room faces inland

This was our third visit to the Amathus Beach Hotel in Limassol. The hotel is beautiful, clean, well appointed and situated on the beach. The hotel's biggest strength is its staff - many of whom go above and beyond. Andreas Georgiou clearly manages this hotel very well. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Sofia who checked us in swiftly and offered us a welcome drink. Other staff to mention are Payayiotis Panayi, maître d'hôtel who should be cloned. Every day he greets his guests with a smile and nothing is ever too much trouble. Costas Lambirou, Pambos and Dariana in the restaurant all made our stay special and Nicos put out our beds and umbrellas each morning - always with a smile. You never need to fight for a sunbed here and the entrance into the sea is great when travelling with older people and children alike. The food is what let the hotel down for us this trip. It was never hot! Please address this because otherwise this is a gem of a hotel and the weather was fabulous in October. We will definitely return.
