Pleasant apartment nestled among the pine trees. Clear directions for arrival. The only downside was the aging bathtub instead of a shower and the worn grout, but the bathroom was still clean.
The hotel is located in a remote industrial and shopping area.
The pool is good and the rooms are in good condition.
The bathroom has been renovated, but the kitchen is dated.
Perfect for four people for four days. The price is unbeatable.

Among the hostels I've stayed at in Europe, this one definitely stands out for its relatively new decor and excellent facilities. It's also very clean, though my room was a bit far from the bathroom.
The location is super convenient, really close to the train station, and there are several bus stops nearby. My only minor complaint is that the electronic lock for my room was broken and never fixed, and it seemed like no one was around to manage or repair it.
We had a pleasant stay at the hotel equipped with all the necessary amenities. Pleasant cuisine, hearty breakfast, spacious room. It was raining, so we used the car to enter Futuroscope, which is within walking distance.

We have booked 2 cottages for our family (2 adults, 2 children and 1 dong), mid Aug 2025, from the trip of Spain. This hotel has a huge garden, and field which our dog could run and walk a lot, two cottage (each having a double bed, a separate toilet and bathroom) which we have stayed met our expectation. Specially it has a small terrace which allowed us to stay outside with fresh air (our dog slept there) during our stay. A receptionist was pretty kind with good level of English.
Two area for improvements if I could mention, hotel restaurant was closed on sunday (staff was on holiday), and even if official check in time is 16h, our room was not ready by 16h45 (only one room ready by 16h45, and the second room was ready after 17h30!). Due to our travelling plan, we have left 1am (stayed only for couple of hours here) heading to next destination, so it was quite disappointing to lose our time just for waiting for the key to check in!
I am generally satisfied with the hotel, it was the second time I stayed there.
I put only 3* to clean, however, because the covers and the tail were rather doubtful, not sure they were well washed by previous customers as we supposed to do.
3* for staff, I explain to me: very friendly and professional, but I had the unpleasant impression of going for a lie when I wanted to pay in holiday cheques at the arrival. which was accepted only by booking directly at the Residence, which I would like to believe, except that I had had on the phone before booking, another person from the host who had told me that this payment mode would be accepted from a parter such as booking or other (the price being higher live at the Residence); in this case it was sufficient to select a ”modifyable” tariff so that the amount of the CB is just blocked while the payment is made at the arrival to the Residence.
So, although it was not a blocking pp for my stay, I found the lady's distribution a little hurt.
Reliable information should be provided, because the possibility of setting up vacancy checks can be a criterion for the choice of the establishment.
Thank you for your understanding

EEffyOhh🟢 The location was very convenient and easy to travel around. We parked there and then used the tramway to get around. Convenient and easy. The inside of the building looks fresh and good. The rooms were quite big so we could spread everywhere. Surprised to see the toilets and showers separated, but enjoyable. Large choice for the breakfast for 18€ but had to wait sometimes for refill.
🔴 the staff wasn't really friendly except if you were the one to do your approach and talk to them. There was an alarm early morning during our stay and no-one was at the reception to greet us and tell us if we had to evacuate or anything. When we (other clients and us) told the réceptionnist it wasn't normal she got upset and replied back instead of apologising or anything. The staff didn't know what they were supposed to do in this case. Not reassuring if there's an actual fire someday.
🟡 cleaning wasn't amazing but could have been worse so no comment on that.

JJOENathalie and David were delightful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Lovely home, beautifully furnished room, modern facilities and extremely well maintained. Spotlessly clean. Relaxed, quiet and feeling like one was living in one's own country home apartment. Quiet location in the center of the town - easy to access and free parking public parking within a one-minute walk from the residence. Private peaceful garden with nice pool which is excellent for just sitting back to read a book with a nice bottle of wine. Breakfast choice was extensive with nice touches prepared by David including freshly prepared home-made preserves. Would thoroughly recommend this wonderful accommodation as an excellent base for discovering both St Emillion and the surrounding area. Have stayed in many hotels and apartments around the Saint-Emilion area but Pavillon de Millesimes rates as one of the best. We will definitely be back.
LLynnette DawnImmaculately clean hotel with a really powerful shower, great for washing your hair! The bed was big and comfortable. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. There is a secure carpark next to the hotel, which costs an additional €10. The car park is very easily accessible for any size of vehicle. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the centre of town, where you’ll find riverfront bars and restaurants, and plenty of shops. A lovely place to stay if you’re visiting Bayonne.
FFlorence17The hotel is right next to the Wine Museum, a 2-minute walk. It's not far from the city center either; it's about a 15-20 minute ride by light rail, but walking takes about an hour. Check-in service was good, and the room was clean. However, one thing was very disappointing: for those driving, parking is available in the parking lot next to the hotel. The hotel staff clearly stated they could provide a parking discount code. When we went to pay, no one was working at the payment counter, and the machine couldn't process the payment. After explaining this to the front desk, they called the parking lot manager, saying someone would be there later, and then told us to go talk to the manager about getting a partial refund. At this point, the front desk staff seemed indifferent and offered no assistance, which was quite disappointing. The attitude of the staff at check-out was vastly different from that at check-in.

GGuest UserChateau Real is a very convenient location if you travel Bordeaux via car. The host (Kelly and Ellen) are very nice couple and able to answer our enquiries. The decoration and facility are very well design and very clean which makes us feel like home. They also provide local breakfast which are fresh and home style feel. We highly recommend for people who would like to stay in ”home & family feel” style Chateau hotel. I wish we can come again in summer to try their nice swimming pool but we did already have fun around the vine yard area.
WWingki3112The hotel is just as amazing as we expected. The room was cozy and clean. We loved the spa facilities, sauna and hammam (the pool temperature could be even warmer). Service was great too. Parking was available for 17 euro for the whole stay (1 night). It's just at the seafront and you could walk out to the beach from the hotel spa/pool. Services were exceptional too. There are room service available and also two restaurants (menu seemed nice, with vegetarian options but we didn't have the chance to try it). Will recommend it!
GGuest UserVery comfortable hotel, beyond expectations
Because of my friend's recommendation, Bordeaux is very famous, I came to this hotel in Margaux (a famous red wine producing area). The hotel is very close to several famous first-, second- and third-class wineries and vineyards in Margaux, and there are large lawns and professional golf courses. Although it is the Spring Festival and winter, it is green everywhere. It is very comfortable and comfortable
I stayed here for three days and stayed in the hotel every day. The hotel restaurant is very delicious. You can eat different French breads for breakfast, which tastes as good as what I ate in Paris. Lunch and dinner are standard appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. The wine here is also very delicious. This restaurant sells almost all the wines from the surrounding wineries. I can't drink much, but I drank a lot here for a few days. It's so happy. Many local vineyard owners will also come here to eat
The hotel will help call a taxi and We booked a visit to the surrounding wineries. We chose to visit Kirin Winery. We walked slowly from the hotel to the winery, looking at the vineyards and the buildings of different wineries along the way. It was very comfortable and refreshing. After arriving at the winery, they welcomed and explained very warmly. The full English explanation was completely understandable and the vocabulary used was very simple. Through the explanation of the different production processes of red wine, we learned why Bordeaux wine is so balanced and delicious. It is worth mentioning that there are Chinese services and Chinese employees here. One of them has worked in China for 15 years and his wife is Chinese. The other is a golf expert who came here from China to work. Because it was New Year, they shared with us the celery dumplings they brought back from Amsterdam, shared life stories with each other, and had a good year! I love France so much. This is my second time in France. I walked south from Paris and looked around. I got a lot of different perspectives and experiences♥️I hope Margaux Inn will get better and better!
