GGuest UserThe hotel's location is superb, just a five-minute walk from the airport. The room type we were assigned was a bit odd, in a corner with no view of the runway. However, it was quite spacious; I could easily open my 30-inch suitcase and still move around comfortably without feeling cramped. For this price, this amount of space, plus such flexible cancellation terms and breakfast included, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal getting into London city. Breakfast was an English buffet, and it was tasty, with gluten-free options available. I'd recommend it to anyone landing at STN!

GGuest UserVisited this hotel for 5 days stay , room was lovely and big ,lovely shower, black out curtains, beautiful super king size bed , breakfast was worth the money , unfortunately the main meal was a big disappointment as very expensive for little amount and very tasteless , parking was good , lots of parking spaces , only down fall about the parking location there is only one entrance to the main building, one way in and one way out and you have to pay 10 pound a night very disappointed in parking and main meal , overall staff friendly, clean, nice stay

CChris HewathI recently stayed at Holiday Inn Colchester and overall had a positive experience. The hotel was very clean throughout and the reception staff provided excellent service, they were friendly, efficient and welcoming.
However, the jacuzzi was not operational during my stay, which was disappointing as it was one of the facilities I was looking forward to using.
Despite this, the cleanliness and quality of service made the stay comfortable.

GGuest UserLovely modern room. Great wet room. We run out of toilet paper and no other left in room.
Bed was very comfortable. Hairdryer, iron and dressing gown in room.
Hotels fire alarm definitely worked as got woken at 7am to evacuate building. Security were very quick to sort issue, guest had lit candle in one of the rooms.
Used the swimming pool steam room and spa which was free.
Good variety of food at breakfast with good view of surrounding grounds.

GGuest UserOur room was spotless , a comfy bed and a good shower , the pool+ hot room area were really good, but for reference there are 3 (members only) aqua aerobics classes a week which use the whole pool , and whose participants’warm up’ prior to the class -so it’s very busy to the class , there are a great selection of (pre bootable )classes , treatments and a well equipped gym (all obviously open to members ) , the meal options are delicious, and the staff are charming

DDaomenkaxunThe room is very spacious...and the hotel is in the middle of a very wide grass...you can drive or do the bus to arrive...the hotel at night is very beautiful...the quiet environment can also see a lot of stars in the sky...the meal bar can watch football games
