This hotel is quite similar to a modern, no-frills budget hotel you'd find in China – clean, hygienic, and with adequately sized rooms. For Oxford, it offers pretty good value for money. However, manage your expectations; it's a clean, functional hotel that simply gets the job done, nothing fancy, nothing terrible. **Facilities:** Generally good. The internet speed was fast, and the facilities felt new with no strange odors. *However, the bathroom and shower were very small and cramped to use, which was a significant downside.* **Cleanliness:** The hotel was spotlessly clean, free of any strange or smoky smells. **Location/Environment:** It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from Oxford University (costing around 10 Euros). The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful, with nice greenery. It's also conveniently located for transport. **Service:** The staff were very friendly. However, upon my check-in, the hotel was fully booked, and I had to wait at the front desk for 30 minutes to complete the check-in process. This was a bit frustrating, but I could understand the situation.

The room I stayed in was located in one of the annex buildings and was very spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed and a generous breakfast included. The staff were consistently warm and welcoming, especially during breakfast service, which made the stay feel very personal. There is also a well-chosen selection of wines available, which was a lovely extra touch.

Nestled in the suburbs, the hotel offers a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere, truly feeling like a tranquil escape. We really appreciated having a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, which made us feel incredibly welcome. The bed in our room felt like two twin beds joined together, and it was certainly spacious enough. The sofa in the room can be converted into a sofa bed (just a heads-up: not all rooms have these, so be sure to confirm upon check-in).

The environment of this hotel is really good. It is close to the golf course and has a free gym. The rooms are quite large and clean. One large bed and one small bed are suitable for families, but it is far away from Bicester Village, about 9 pounds.
