I stayed two nights without any issues . I think they actually upgraded my room because it was much larger than expected . WiFi worked great , room was clean , staff friendly , quick check in/out .
There's swimming facilities but I didn't use it. The hotel is right on the beach which would be nice in spring /summer .Pubs , restaurants ,supermarket in walking distance. Pub served meals and snacks and had arranged times for breakfast,dinner, room service etc .
I'd recommend for a short stay

Nice clean hotel ,excellent breakfast ,friendly staff but terrible bed very hard ,room to hot opened windows but noise from air con ducts on roof below kept us awake tv was always turning off itself room 332 third floor

Poor quality Wi-Fi, couldn’t work as kept bugging out. Gluten/dairy free options for breakfast limited. Picked hotel for pool for the family but everytime we went there it was fully occupied. Should be able to book or limit people’s time in there to allow others to use facilities, family were very disappointed

Perfect location for exploring the city. Right next to the train station. The hotel looked after our cases so we could enjoy more time exploring. Room was spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Obviously a location closer to the beach would be ideal, but all the rest is great. Good rooms, good breakfast, and mostly amazing gym facilities (several large rooms, swimming pool as well)

The room View is amaizing its what it says on the tin however if you are a sensitive sleeper there is a pump that goes all nightfrom the near by dock. You would assume the room is sealed to all types of noise from the outside.
The bathroom is not great at all small and rusty shower pipes
No robes or slippers inthe room- atleast say when booking so that you know what to expect.
Breakfast ok- unfortunately some flies wouldn’t leave our table alone
Hospitality great, they changed our bedding both nights
Overall- the worst Hilton I have stayed in and such a Hilton fun but this trip taught me it’s probably just the name.

A lovely trip to Holiday Inn, Gosforth Park. The beds, were comfy, the staff were lovely, very relaxing and the room view was beautiful! They also had very good access to fitness facilities! I will come back again!

Wonderful clean hotel as always, with smooth check in & check out. Spoke to members of staff on the phone previous to coming to the hotel about a question we had about linking the booking days together & the staff was so lovely & so polite & helpful. Rooms are always smelling fresh, spacious, beds always big & comfortable. Always love that about The Village hotel at Cobalt, however we have been left feeling a bit deflated after going for some lunch in the pub bar on the last day of our stay at the Hotel today. Ordered 2 chicken wraps & the menu states for £1 only you can add a soft drink - ordered the wraps & asked I could have 2 coke zeros with them, but for some reason was not charged that deal price it stated on the menu. Cost £9 for 2 coke zeros on draught which tasted flat ! when I queried with the man at the bar, was told I should have stated that I wanted the £1 deal & not the more expensive price? Yet ordered the wraps & soft drinks together.... Was told that if you don't say to do that, they don't automatically grant it... Urm, what?.. not very good service at all. No staff around apart from him as well and qué was backed up. Everything was lovely with the hotel it's self apart from this experience with rude member of staff in the bar/pub. Don't charge the customers who's staying in your hotel over the odds when it's clearly a deal with a soft drink in the menu !

I have been here before. Good things: convenient location to central train station and shops. Nice and relaxing swimming pool with jacuzzi and steam room. Rooms are OK but clean with coffee and tea and ironing facilitie. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Bad things: dinner is limited options, expensive and not good value for money. To add an insult to the injury I had a dessert and there was 1/2 strawberry 🍓 on the top for decoration. I left to last bite to finish with and the taste was terrible. It had onions taste 🤧 my guess they used the same knife for cutting the onions for cutting the strawberry and it was not nice at all - just disgusting and unprofessional. Apart from this everything was good and I would be back but unlikely I would like to here again.

Fantastic hotel for the money. I’d say its a great option for a spa break if you’re on a budget especially if you go midweek you get an overnight stay and access to the pool, gym and sauna included for less than £100 per night. Compared to other hotels that offer the same facilities it’s really good value. My only complaint would be no dressing gowns or slippers included making it a bit of a hassle getting fully changed amongst strangers. Other spa hotels have dressing gowns and slippers included so you can prep for the pool & sauna areas in the privacy of your own room.
