This Japanese-style hot spring hotel is fully equipped and the lobby is quite luxuriously decorated. We arrived early and enjoyed free afternoon tea and foot soup first. At three o'clock, a waiter in a kimono guided us to the door of the room, which was very intimate. After the bath, we had dinner on the 2nd floor of the hotel at the time we had booked in advance. The dinner was a standard kaiseki dish and was very hearty. Each family had their own private dining space and was equipped with a dedicated full service. At 9 pm, the hotel arranged a local Taigu performance in Kaga for the guests, which was very special. The whole experience was very satisfying.

Room spacious with luscious view of the valley, enjoyed facilities such as grilling own dango and senbei as well as private onsen. However, cleanliness could be improved as dust can be seen on siding door tracks within the room and hair dryer was not the best with loose folding handle. Overall, it was still a pleasant stay, some staffs were very attentive and helpful at front desk and at dining (though they should not assume everyone can eat beef and allow other options).

During our 2 night-stay, the breakfasts N dinners were awesome, mouth watering & flavorful! Best meals on our 12-day trip in Japan. The shuttle bus service was a great help. Every service personnel we interacted with during our stay were warm N hospitable! Their smiles and greetings made us felt welcome.

I booked four sets of rooms for one night. I didn’t expect the four sets of rooms that had been paid on the program. The hotel itself was old but the room was relatively beautiful. I was worried about the mold and dirt in the bathroom. I think it can't be helped by the number of years. It was a pity that the electricity in the room was dark, the window was full of spider webs when I opened the curtain to see the scenery, and there was no laundry. There was an ice cold machine on the fifth floor and I used it. The hotel response was very good. I didn't feel so far from Kanazawa Station in about 20 minutes.
