Very close to the sea, and you can see the ocean from the balcony. However, the specific room we were assigned was a bit off to the side, with another building visible. In the evenings, there's singing in the square, which can be a bit noisy. The hotel beds weren't very comfortable; they sagged in the middle.

Our flight back from Jeju Island was early in the morning, so I booked the Lotte City Hotel near the airport. It's about a five or six-minute drive, and a taxi only cost around 20-25 RMB. Getting a taxi even at 5 AM was very convenient. The front desk staff were all very friendly. Downstairs, there's a Lotte Duty Free shop, though it doesn't have a huge selection. If you go out and turn right at the small intersection, there's an Olive Young, which is handy for restocking. The Shilla Duty Free is only about a ten-minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants along the way.

This hotel is located in the city center. The facilities are new, and both the environment and hygiene are excellent. The hallways are very quiet, allowing the elderly to get a good night's sleep. We were very satisfied with our stay. The breakfast selection was rich and varied; we went around 8 AM every day and always found plenty of options. There's a Haidilao hotpot restaurant on the 5th floor of the hotel, and you get a 20% discount with your room card. The front desk offers Chinese-speaking service, making check-in very smooth. The Shilla Duty-Free Shop is directly opposite the hotel, and Olive Young is less than a 10-minute walk away, which is very convenient for shopping. There are also many restaurants catering to Chinese tastes nearby, most within walking distance. We will definitely choose Bolton again on our next trip to Jeju Island.

The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the airport. There's a bus stop right outside, and the 202 bus makes it easy to explore the west side of the city at a leisurely pace. Upon check-in, we received two complimentary coffees. I absolutely loved the hotel's coffee shop and the walking path outside by the pool – the endless glass-like sea views were incredibly therapeutic! I'll definitely be back if I get the chance.

Really nice hotel. Our room was huge ! The rooftop pool is heated and is great after a long day of exploration.
Location is good, 10min walk from the market and the waterfall.
The only thing is that we required no service and the housekeeper still came and did only one bed out of 2, the next day one of the bathrobes belt was gone which is a bit weird..
I added breakfast one mornging and it was ok. Maybe more continental options would be good (bacon, cheese, etc)
The staff is very helpful and really nice .

Conveniently located: A 3-minute walk to Black Pork Street, 5 minutes to Chilseong-ro, and 10 minutes to Dongmun Market. Only 3.2km from the airport, a taxi ride takes about 10 minutes. Plenty of convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making dining and entertainment incredibly easy.
Ocean View: High-floor rooms directly overlook the azure sea. Open the window and you'll see the lighthouse and breakwater, with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
Attentive Service: The staff are warm and friendly, happy to help arrange taxis and offer free luggage storage. Their attention to detail is exceptional.
The rooms are simple yet modern, with spacious interiors (approx. 26-29㎡), soft bedding, and separate wet/dry areas in the bathroom, all exceptionally clean. There's also a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi.
Location, ocean view, and great value for money – a triple threat! Step out and you're by the sea, turn around and you're surrounded by delicious food. This is an excellent choice for your stay in downtown Jeju City.

I personally like the location. Near to airport. Taxi fare less than 6500won. Bus Stop just outside of the hotel. 7-11 next door too. Didn't try out the breakfast, gym and swimming pool so no comments on that. Understood that 2000won is needed for towel fee if you choose to swim. You can find their 2 wasing machines and 2 dryers at B2. 5000won for washing and 5000won for drying. 500won for a small pack of powder detergent.
Thank you to the ajummas that did room cleaning, they were friendly and well mannered. Pretty disappointed with the front desk staff instead, they weren't as friendly as I would hope them to be. The front staff just asked us for our name and the number of luggage and gave as a tag which we need to tag it on our luggage ourselves. and also, the luggage we would have to leave them at the ba
Luggage area and collect ourselves once we were done.
This can be better managed by the hotel front desk staff than the hotel guests instead. Just a suggestion. Thank you.
We had a wonderful stay at Shinhwa Jeju World Hotel and would highly recommend it, especially for families with children.
The room was exceptionally spacious, giving our family plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Jeju. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable.
What truly stood out was the excellent service from the hotel staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel right at home throughout our stay.
The hotel is also extremely child-friendly. There are plenty of family-oriented facilities and activities that kept the children entertained, making it a stress-free and enjoyable vacation for both parents and kids.
Overall, Shinhwa Jeju World Hotel exceeded our expectations with its spacious rooms, cleanliness, attentive service, and family-friendly environment. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Jeju.

We had a 4 days stay. Upon checking into our room, we realised there is only one bath towel and 3 face towels. We called front desk to request for additional bath towel since there is 2 of us. We were told be the receptionist that they do not provide additional bath towel, charges applied if we insist to have additional bath towel. The receptionist cannot speak fluent English which makes the communication difficult. We have to make do with whatever towels provided because we do nit wish to pay for additional fee.
Otherwise, the location of the hotel is good, within walking distances to Olle market, Olive young Artbox and Lee Jung Seop Street. There is a convenient store at the Hotel too.
Very nice and peaceful hotel. Comfortable bed with great breakfast that overlooks to a pond. There are good restaurants 15-20 mins drive away and yes their onsen and sauna is definitelythe highlight. Great for tired legs and bodies post Hallasan hike.

AAnonymous UserExceeded expectations! This was the best value for money I found for a two-night stay in Jeju. Other places at a similar price point had tiny rooms, but this one had a great location and a fantastic view from a much more spacious room. I'd definitely stay here again. Being right outside the door for shopping and food was super convenient.

DDuoduobuduoVI have to say, it was seeing pictures of this hotel's infinity pool online that immediately made me book a flight to Jeju Island. The weather was perfect, and it was totally worth the trip. From the doorman to the front desk, the service was excellent and very welcoming. We stored our luggage and kept bothering the bellboys to get things out of our bags and change clothes, but the Korean staff enthusiastically helped us every time without any hint of impatience. Check-in wasn't until 3 PM, and we arrived at 11 AM. We went out for some BCH fried chicken, and when we came back before 2 PM, the front desk let us check into our room early. We didn't book a sea view because we spent all our time at the pool. We swam during the day and went back at night – the pool lighting at night was absolutely stunning. We only got back to the room at 10 PM and just went straight to sleep, which saved us some money. Although the room wasn't huge, it was very quiet, and the bedding was super comfortable and clean; I slept really well. The transportation is extremely convenient; the 600 bus is 4500 KRW per person, point-to-point to and from the airport. A taxi to the Jusangjeolli Cliff was also very convenient, only 6000 KRW. Most of the guests were Korean, not many Chinese. The brunch right outside the hotel is absolutely delicious. The hotel's boardwalk is also beautiful, leading straight down to a beach.
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay. The apartment is beautiful, very clean, and has an amazing ocean view. Everything we needed was provided. The owner was friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. The location is excellent - close to shops, restaurants, and the airport. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserFirst of all - the perfect stay, favouriting. This is pretty much a two-floor townhouse with widest possible 3 bed rooms and all facilities included (plus three toilets and bath-tube). Very warm at winter. Very enjoyable stay.
A bit of details. The unit is a part of mini-city of similar houses around. It is built right in the forest. The architects were brave enough to keep original trees around, so your windows are looking directly into the forest - with all the singing birds, tree branches nearly touch your windows (btw, the third photo is from one of the windows). It is very silent place, with breathtaking volcano views.
From facilities point of view, the project looks like suffered from financial hardship - most of the things in the minicity that were planned - are still on the plan or were outsourced to another companies (though, I am sure, once the project is completed - the price will double at least). There is no restaurant as such (at the time of writing), at or even around the place; swimming pool is largely incomplete. The BBQ mini-room in the center of the house (which is directly under naked sky) totally rot beyond repair, but I admire designers decision to build it. Never saw anything like this before. I bet it can be rebuilt.
Deliveries to that area does not work - too far. So if you hungry at night - you don't have too much of options than a ramyon or cooking yourself (saying this, we discovered 이승악식당 next door - saved us greatly at lunch time). Gym equipment looked very rich, though the gym room is a bit disproportional in size - barely fits it all. Btw, we found a great table tennis table there.
Overall it's a great civilization escape. Few things to be planned ahead but waking up by the sun shining directly to your eyes - unbeatable. I believe it's the one, where wife's and husband's opinions differ :).
GGuest UserOur group of five (two families) spent 7 days in Jeju, staying at two hotels, and this was the first one we checked into. The hotel's location isn't ideal; it's about a 20-minute walk to Hamdeok Beach. On the plus side, there's a BHC fried chicken restaurant and a CU convenience store right next door. We were quite satisfied with the hotel's cleanliness and facilities; it was spotless and well-maintained.
However, to be honest, we were quite dissatisfied with the front desk service. No matter what the issue was, their immediate reaction seemed to be to say no. It felt as if they might have perceived us as being overly demanding Chinese guests. For example, in my sister's family's room, the toilet wouldn't flush in the morning (note: their toilets here are electronic with automatic flushing). When we contacted the front desk, they informed us that maintenance staff wouldn't be on duty until 11 AM, so the issue couldn't be addressed until then. Since everyone needed to use the restroom that morning, we kept pressing for a solution. Eventually, the front desk staff consulted with a nearby cleaning lady. The cleaning lady then simply turned around, picked up a plunger (which was conveniently located right next to the front desk, implying this is a common issue), and fixed the toilet in a matter of seconds.
JJiaowoqigehaoleThe Shilla, Parnas, and the adjacent Suites Hotel are all located in the same complex. Personally, I'd rank them Parnas > Shilla > Suites. You can easily get here from the airport by taking an express bus, either 600 or 601, and it's about 13 or 14 stops. The older Korean-style rooms feel quite a bit less impressive than what you'd find at Parnas or the Grand Hyatt downtown. This hotel seems to be a popular spot for Korean families on vacation – maybe the Korean stock market has been good to them, haha. The service from the front desk, concierge, and the Filipino housekeeping staff was excellent. Breakfast was delicious, and the garden view was lovely. It feels like they compensate for the older hardware with top-notch service. On a rainy day, the concierge even lent me a long-handled umbrella, and for that thoughtful gesture, I'm happy to give a good review.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a resort, a bit far from the city center, but you can get here by bus route 255. The Giant's Causeway is relatively close, about a 90 RMB taxi ride one way. My ground-floor room has a 'small garden,' but I felt it lacked privacy, as people on the higher floors opposite seemed able to see into my room. The front desk service was average. Shopping downstairs is convenient, but the brand selection isn't extensive, and the resort's restaurants are quite pricey.
GGuest UserThe accommodation environment is very comfortable.
