It fell below Ctrip's four-diamond rating, barely enough for a five-day stay. If it were three diamonds, it would have been just fine. The mattress was so soft that my back nearly broke on the first night, and I almost wanted to change hotels. The facilities were average, and the bathroom smelled foul, but thankfully we were experienced in dealing with such situations. Transportation was convenient, but the restaurant downstairs was truly unpalatable, especially the Korean restaurant. Overall, I'm not saying it was terrible, but it didn't meet Ctrip's four-diamond rating and didn't meet my expectations. Furthermore, Ctrip's prices were a bit high, and I felt like I was wasting my money. Next time I book an overseas homestay, I'll try booking it through other platforms like ABNB.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, offering fantastic sea and sunset views right from the window! The hotel also boasts an infinity pool on the rooftop. Spending the evening up there, feeling the gentle sea breeze and watching the sunset, was absolutely heavenly! Now THAT's what I call a true holiday! I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Kota Kinabalu and would definitely stay here again!

I thought it was a hotel, but it turned out to be an apartment rented out by a hotel. Many people I asked didn't even know where it was. It was a bit difficult to contact the owner, but thankfully, Trip.com's concierge helped me get in touch and check in smoothly. The room is quite spacious with good lighting, and it even has a kitchen with an induction cooker and tableware, which was very comfortable. The security is also good, as you need a card to access the elevator. It's just a few minutes' taxi ride to Gaya Street, and since it opened this year, the facilities are all new.

The room was booked under my brothers name for his honeymoon since hes a newlyweds with a request for honeymoon decoration. However, upon arrival, the room had no decoration prepared.
If the hotel was unable to fulfil the request, the minimum expectation was to inform me in advance through email or any form of notice. No communication was given, which reflects a lack of attention to guest requests and caused unnecessary disappointment.

The Hotel is located at the area with many seafood restaurants and it is also convenient to access to different shops. On the first day, we were given a room without views that made us very unhappy. Then they agreed to change it to better views. The sensor of the light control was out of order on the third day, but they could fix it on the same day. The staff of the Hotel would send messages to connect with us. It was very helpful Hotel. Their breakfast was really fantastic, we highly recommended it.

Very nice and clean environment!
My vacation was to celebrate my anniversary, and I mentioned it in my booking remarks. I honestly didn’t expect any special arrangement or surprise from the hotel, but they went above and beyond! Every staff member knew it was our anniversary and wished us warmly — from the Sky Bar to the dining area and even room service. We felt truly welcomed and appreciated. Excellent service and hospitality

Nnolix orange1) Parking
very limited parking depan hotel dan sentiasa full. terpaksa guna parking mall dgn caj, tiada diskaun untuk penginap hotel. dari parking mall ke lobby hotel, tiada shortcut jln sblh dalam, keluar dulu mall baru dpt ke lobby. agak leceh bg penginap dgn barang yg byk lg. hrp pihak hotel dpt cari penyelesaian utk keselesaan penginap2 yg bawa kenderaan.
2) Katil
book deluxe king...tapi dapat 2 katil single yg dirapatkan...jd ruang lebih kecil dan ada celah di tengah...kurang selesa...
Overall, amenities okay, breakfast okay, kolam okay...good stay..jz pls improve on main issues above..
GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel with my wife and child for our vacation, and we had a truly enjoyable experience. Although the weather during our stay was mostly rainy and we only managed to spend one day at the water park and swimming pool, the hotel’s facilities more than made up for it.
Our child especially loved the indoor kids’ playground, which kept him entertained throughout the trip. The buffet breakfast was another highlight — delicious, with a wide variety of choices to suit everyone.
The hotel staff were all very friendly, attentive, and helpful, making our stay even more pleasant.
Overall, despite the weather, we had a wonderful and satisfying stay. Highly recommended for families!
EElizabeth Ong Hui LingService is excellent. Staff do not hesitate to help, always address travellers politely, and take the initiative to serve water, give suggestions, overall making your experience smooth and fulfilling.
Food is also very delicious — other reviews say the food is pricey, but I think it’s quite affordable and well worth the price.
Rooms are large, comfortable and well-furnished.
Will definitely be back!
GGuest UserHotel is a little off from city centre, hotel providing shuttle bus but still a hassle to spend hours on road.
hotel is a perfect place to spend days with family and just chill. there are plenty of activities planned for kids to keep them busy. Discovery center and Water sports center provides activities with charges.
Due to the fact of by the beach, to maintain a perfect cleaniless is a challenge but hotel has done it well, very comfortable to stay in the room.
The staffs hospitality is what we like the most here, they are really friendly and usually initiate conversation with the guests.

Positive Points:
1. Air-conditioning was very effective and kept the room comfortable throughout the stay.
2. Great window view – beautiful sea and jetty scenery that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. (see my attached picture)
3. Excellent location – conveniently close to eateries and the jetty, making it easy to get around.
4. Reasonably priced in-house food – offers good value for money for guests who prefer to dine in.
5. Complimentary extra bottled water was provided upon request, which was appreciated.
6. Friendly and helpful staff across all departments – from housekeeping, café, and maintenance to the front desk. Everyone was courteous and attentive.
7. Special mention to the chef – a very kind and gentlemanly person. On our first day, we ordered 6 fried eggs for breakfast, assuming they were included. The chef initially didn’t inform us of the RM2 charge per egg and kindly did not charge us for them. When we later tried to order again, he politely informed us about the charge. We truly appreciated his honesty and kind gesture.
8. very nice grilled meat at the roof cafe (5th floor). The promo price is 5 sticks for rm9.9 . worth to eat!
---
Areas for Improvement:
1. Limited breakfast buffet selection – mainly local dishes such as chicken, eggs, vegetables, rice, or noodles. While the food was tasty, there were no options like fresh milk, cereal, or egg station. Fruit choices were also limited to just bananas every day.
2. Window leakage during heavy rain – rainwater entered the room. However, the staff responded promptly and mopped the floor immediately.
3. No robe hooks in the bathroom – makes it inconvenient to hang clothes or towels.
4. Shortage of bath towels – clean towels were only available in the late afternoon after laundry was returned.
5. Extra blanket charge – an additional around rm50-60 was required if requesting one more blanket, which felt a bit expensive.
6. Low water pressure in the shower – the water flow was quite weak, making the shower experience less enjoyable.
7. Housekeeping quality needs improvement – there was sand in the room, and although we informed the staff, it was not cleaned properly even after the feedback.
Extra Tip for Travellers:
There’s no laundry shop in Semporna town, so do remember to bring enough clothes for your stay.

Great
MMoleiThe location is super convenient, right in the city center, and it's a sea-view room. I requested a higher floor, but still got the ninth floor. I also asked not to be near the elevator, and guess what? I got a room right next to it. I suspect my request wasn't understood. From the room, you can see the rooftops of the lower floors. Overall, it offers good value for money. The breakfast is abundant, and the front desk service is excellent; my requests were generally met when I called. The only minor issue was the TV being broken, but they sent someone to fix it.

AAnonymous UserThe room offers a pretty good view of the sea.
Overall, the service is good; the cleaning staff comes to tidy up the room daily, but sometimes there are some stains on the bedding, which is a bit off-putting.
The hotel's location is quite convenient for getting around, close to everything, and ordering food through Grab is very easy.
