MmiascharaStay here to attend a wedding nearby but was surprised with the spacious room, yummy and huge variety for breakfast. Most importantly my kids enjoyed the pool. Will definitely repeat our stay here

NNasron MasriOne of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! I requested a room with a view of the Kuala Terengganu Drawbridge, and they actually managed to fulfill my request. The view from the room was absolutely amazing and made our stay even more memorable.
I really appreciate the hotel staff for making the extra effort to accommodate my request. Such a wonderful experience, and I would definitely love to stay here again!

JJeray KohOverall, the stay was quite pleasant and excellent value for money at this price point. The room was spacious and comfortable, the environment was nice, and basic amenities were all there. For a one-night stay, I was generally very satisfied. The only minor downside was that the room's cleanliness could be improved; some areas felt like they weren't thoroughly cleaned. If the cleaning could be enhanced, the overall experience would be even better. Considering the price, environment, and facilities, it's still great value for money and highly recommended! 👍 You can park your car right at the entrance!

AAnonymous UserWe had a pleasant stay overall, and the spectacular view was definitely the highlight of our trip.
However, a few areas could be improved, especially the cleanliness of the toilets and room, damaged flooring, exposed wiring, and safety features such as handrails along the beach stairs. The maintenance areas could also be secured more properly, and the mini zoo, particularly the sheep and ducks, could use better care.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope these improvements can make the experience even better for future guests.

Had a really great stay at Awana Kijal! Overall memang sangat best dan selesa. Semua staff sangat friendly dan helpful, especially staff yang jaga entrance untuk breakfast — memang ramah dan welcoming. 🥰
Staff yang handle aktiviti lepaskan anak penyu pun sangat friendly dan baik dengan anak-anak. 🐢❤️

IIvychen91The hotel having a lounge at Terengganu Airport is a huge plus! Upon arrival, the lounge staff were incredibly helpful and quickly arranged our transfer to the jetty. Once we reached the island and checked in, everything was meticulously organized, with staff collaborating efficiently to manage all our bookings. Saiful, the restaurant manager, thoughtfully added me on WeChat to arrange our themed dinner, which was a very nice touch – thumbs up! Our customer relations manager, Hamdan, followed up throughout our stay, assisting with activity arrangements, answering all our questions, and checking in daily to see how we were doing, making us feel right at home – another thumbs up! Finally, I have to mention the fantastic location of The Taaras! The private beach view from our cliff suite was absolutely stunning! The room was spacious and well-laid out; our whole family loved it! With all the facilities at the hotel, there's no chance of getting bored. A tip for future visitors: the hotel has its own private airstrip on the island. Next time we come to Redang, we can fly directly from Kuala Lumpur with Taaras Air, saving us the hassle of the boat journey! All in all, The Taaras is the top choice for Redang Island!

GGuest UserI stayed at The Qamar in Paka, Terengganu, and considering the room rate, I honestly did not expect much. But I came away pleasantly surprised.
The resort, which was refurbished in 2014, sits right by the beach and offers a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, with comfy beds, good quality bedding, and soft pillows that made for a great night’s sleep. One thing that stood out was the bathroom — spacious and much bigger than expected.
Food was another pleasant surprise. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and found the prices very reasonable. The nasi goreng was under RM20, came in a generous portion, and tasted really good. Fresh juice was only around RM10, which felt like great value. Breakfast the next morning also impressed us, with a wide variety of choices available.
Parking was easy and hassle-free, which is always a plus. Our room overlooked the swimming pool, giving us a nice view and adding to the resort feel.
I also noticed the hotel seems quite popular among Petronas employees, which says something about its reputation in the area.
Overall, The Qamar offers excellent value for money. If you’re looking for a comfortable beachfront stay in Paka without spending a fortune, this place is definitely worth considering.

GGuest UserThis stay really exceeded my expectation. I was shown to my room which is quite spacious with an also spacious bathroom. Ive never stayed at such a huge room in Paya Bunga before 😅 (+ for the hotel). The front desk and bell boy treatment was immaculate with nothing to criticize. The breakfast buffet was good, nasi dagang was soo delicious I almost felt sorry for eating only a little. Definitely worth revisiting
