Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around, and there are restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I slept very well at night. The front desk staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. The common areas were well-maintained and clean, giving a general sense of safety and security. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.
Great airport transfer service, close to the airport for a short trip. Communication between motel and myself was fantastic. Room was good, clean and tidy, there were tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge. Room was a good size, decor was very dated and the bed was average. The room suited me for what I needed as an international stopover for a few hours sleep.
In a kind of nondescript commercial area. But very convenient for airport access, especially with the on call shuttle. The amenities aren’t luxurious but totally adequate for those in and out of the airport.
Hotel itself has a restaurant and self service breakfast was pretty decent. A few eating spots within 5-10 minutes walk. The shuttle driver will also take people to the shopping area right by the airport. A small outdoor pool is great for entertaining kids.
Given New Zealand produces a lot of big skin care products , the hotel soaps and lotions is by Earth’s Botanical and were very nice.
The hotel is quite close to the airport, with a lake and scenic walking trails nearby. The room was spacious and very clean, meeting the standards of a star-rated hotel. Breakfast was plentiful, and the steak at the restaurant's dinner was also good.
One of the best hotel / motel that I had stayed while visiting North Island.
The room is beautiful decorated, very clean, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with bath tub etc.
Getting to airport is easy with the Yellow Bus that stops directly infront of the hotel and operates 24/7.
On-site parking is plenty and affordable at NZD 10 per day with unlimited exits. However, depending on your booking type, you may get complimentary parking during your stay here.
The hotel receptionists AB and Nia are super friendly and always greet you with their smile.
I would not hesitate to recommend anyone especially those taking early flight departing Auckland airport.
Nice hotel in the heart of Auckland city.
Very comfortable bed, nice room with all amenities, very quiet.
The hotel opened in 1998 and it shows in the furniture and common areas. Although all in order and clean, they do look and feel somewhat dated
Ideal solution for a late arriving flight, easy and simple with a spacious, well-appointed room. Excellent value for money, especially with the shuttle included. The food was the only disappointment, with a chicken burger being $25 but not having chicken breast patties like should be standard for this price-point - instead it had cheap orange-coloured crumbed minced ”mystery chicken” patties.
Hotel with a central location. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Check-in was not informative at all. The staff seem to know very little about the meaning of hospitality, especially at the reception and in the restaurant. The restaurant staff at breakfast were poorly qualified or interns, and the supervision made no effort to help.
There was a concierge, but they were never available when needed. The business center had a broken printer, and the swimming pool looked more like a public pool than a relaxing area, with an unpleasant atmosphere.
In my opinion, the hotel does not reflect a 5-star standard. The room was cleaned just the day before my departure, even with the “Please clean my room” sign on.
A disappointing and expensive stay.
Hotel location is very good, crossing a small road is the port, not far from the sky tower Queen Street; the staff is very warm; breakfast is simple but enough to eat; whether the room or restaurant, ventilation is very good 👍
We had an amazing stay. We really loved the location right next to the Sky Tower. It was a special occasion for our son’s 18th birthday. It was a lovely touch having a card and chocs delivered for his birthday! It made our stay extra special.
We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which had so much choice and lovely surroundings. All the staff we encountered were very efficient and made our stay exceptional.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is quite nice, located near the port with plenty of restaurants nearby. I'll book the Park Hyatt in a couple of days to compare.
VVisitingHad a really nice stay at Cordis. The bed was super comfy — one of those where you fall asleep instantly and wake up well-rested. The pool was on the smaller side, but still a pleasant spot to relax for a quick dip. The buffet was definitely a highlight with a good variety and everything tasted fresh. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay, with a comfortable room and great service. Would happily come back.

ZZoe_eoZThe hotel's location is super convenient! There's a convenience store right next door, a supermarket diagonally across the street, and a subway station nearby. The room also has a washing machine and dryer, plus laundry detergent. The kitchen comes with basic cooking utensils, including a wok. However, you'll need to buy dish soap and seasonings separately at the supermarket.
DDeevanyah FrostWe just had an unexpectedly delightful experience at the Waiheke Island Motel, so much so that we added another night because we simply couldn't get enough of the place! Our stay began with a minor hitch: arriving late in the evening to find our pre-booked studio room was locked. However, the way the night manager and the team handled this was truly remarkable. They quickly resolved the issue by giving us a significant, stress-free upgrade to a spacious whole house with four bedrooms instead of our original studio. This immediate, generous response demonstrated exceptional hospitality and turned a potential frustration into the highlight of our trip. The motel's location is ideal; it offers a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet it's in very close proximity to both the shops and the beach. We appreciated the on-site pool and the spa options, and the minute's walk down to the community Saturday market was a fantastic bonus. Our only piece of constructive feedback relates to the spa itself—unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which was a slight disappointment. Despite the minor issue with the spa, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodation, and prime location mean we had a fantastic trip. Crucially, the price was quite reasonably priced compared to other places on Waiheke, offering excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Waiheke Island Motel!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Waitakere Resort & Spa for one night, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The resort is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by beautiful native bush and stunning views that make the whole place feel like a relaxing escape from the city.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Every interaction felt positive and professional, and they truly made me feel looked after. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared, offering everything needed for a restful night.
The food was excellent — fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The dining area also has amazing views, making every meal feel special. The facilities were well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the property is calm, serene, and very refreshing.
I loved the walking tracks, greenery, and peaceful environment. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, recharge, and enjoy nature. I honestly wish I could have stayed longer.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, great service, and a beautiful environment. I will definitely be returning!
AAnonymous UserRoom is a little run down, especially the bathroom where there was black mold, cracked tiles, flaking paint and damage to the floor. There was also damage to the outside of the microwave and the edges of some cupboards. The bed was made up of two beds pushed together. Bath and shower were quite small. Staff were friendly and non-intrusive, although the room make-up service came in the mid-afternoon (approx 3pm). Possibly suitable for those who wish to self-cater (rooms have kitchenware and cooking facilities) but otherwise there are better options in the same price range.
