Anonymous UserThe room itself is very old, the windows were also poorly cleaned. However the rest of the hotel is nice and updated including the spa and pool area. Overall it was a decent stay, however I would only go back for the spa and not stay there again.

LikehaiyangThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to the University of Auckland. After taking a taxi from the airport to Waitemata Station, it's about a four or five-stop bus ride from Britomart, and the bus stop is right across from the hotel. There are many bus stops nearby, making it convenient to get anywhere. Check-in was very smooth; even though there were a lot of people checking in that afternoon, it was well-organized and efficient overall. The front desk staff were also very friendly and even asked if I had stayed at their hotel before. I mentioned I had been to Cordis Beijing Capital Airport previously, but this was my first time here. Upon entering, I noticed the hotel's signature scent, which was indeed identical to the one at Cordis Beijing Capital Airport. The room facilities were all great, the mattress was very comfortable, and there were plenty of charging outlets. The hotel's Wi-Fi was also very fast. The toiletries were of high quality with a pleasant scent, and since the weather was dry in autumn, applying some body lotion made me feel very comfortable. Cordis hotels are known for their breakfast, and the restaurant in the morning certainly offered a wide variety of delicious-looking options. Perhaps due to jet lag, my stomach still thought it was 4 or 5 AM after I finished eating, so I didn't eat much. All in all, this booking on Trip.com offered excellent value for money, and this comfortable trip made me very happy and relaxed.

Guest UserA family of four for two nights.
We booked two rooms - the hotel didn’t arrange our rooms next to each other, but quite far apart ☹️
Room setting is so comfy - spacious room and bed 🙂 one of the room is city view and the other is harbour view.
Breakfast is recommended - coffee is good; family loves the beef noodles.

Overall, this hotel is satisfactory considering its location, apartment size, staff service. The western restaurant’s food offerings are not good enough but with a high price. A nearby Korean restaurant at the intersection of the drive and Hobson street is wonderful which made me feel better. Two weird things happened: 1. The Hot and Cold water in the bathroom wash desk is not easy to control the temperature of the water. 2. In the early morning, the refrigerator is leaking water and I even did not use it.

AR mustafaI stayed at Auckland Harbour Suites for five days. Overall, the hotel offered a good location and comfortable facilities. However, I experienced an incident that I feel is important to share for the awareness of future guests.
On the third day of my stay, I noticed that my insulated winter pants (thermal trousers) were missing when I wanted to use them. My wife and I searched the entire room thoroughly, including under the bed sheets, but we could not locate the item. We reported the matter to the front desk, and they acknowledged the issue and informed us that they would look into it. I also mentioned that I was not accusing any staff member and that there was a possibility I might have misplaced it.
Despite continuing our search later that night, the item was still not found. The winter pants are quite bulky, padded, and lined with thick beige synthetic fur, making them easy to recognise and unlikely to be overlooked.
When we returned to our room the following day, we found that the winter pants had been placed on the dining table. I took photos as evidence. Upon inquiry, the front desk informed us that the item had been found under the bed sheet. I found this explanation difficult to believe, as the pants are large and easily recognizable. While I chose not to argue further, I strongly suspect that the item had been taken out of the room and later returned.
While I cannot determine exactly what happened and prove this without further evidence such as CCTV footage, I believe this incident serves as a reminder for guests to take extra care and be mindful of their personal belongings during their stay.
I hope the hotel management will take this matter seriously to prevent similar experiences for future guests and to ensure that similar situations do not occur in the future.

YizhilaozongziAfter arriving in Auckland on the last flight from Queenstown, the airport transfer to the hotel took less than 10 minutes, which was super convenient for an overnight layover. You can check in at the front desk or use one of the two self-service kiosks. I booked a standard room through a third-party platform for only 500, which was great value for money. The only downside was that the walk to the room was quite long. The balcony door in the ground-floor room opened onto a small lawn, offering a bit of a view. The room size was adequate, and the bedding was fairly comfortable. Overall, it was a good experience, and there's a direct bus to the airport not far from the hotel.

YYutravellerWe stayed in a family room, and overall the experience was great, except for the breakfast! It had two rooms with a kitchen, very spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff were also good.
The only downside was the breakfast service. On that day, there were two Korean tour groups, and they were seated before breakfast even officially started. We, as individual guests, were told there were no seats and asked to come back an hour later (breakfast was from 7 to 9 AM, and we arrived promptly at 7 AM). Since we didn't have time to wait an hour, we stood there waiting for a table. Eventually, the first group of over 40 people left, and then the second group of 20 arrived right after! The food wasn't refilled, nor were the paper cups or tea bags. The coffee machine was broken, and there was only one small home-style hot water dispenser, which was clearly insufficient for 50 people. The waiter then brought another electric kettle from somewhere, and when I poured hot water, I saw black flakes – I realized the iron heating element inside was rusty and flaking off... A lot of people had already drunk from it (it was terrifying). In the end, I only ate an apple and drank a cup of tea. There was only one server, nowhere near enough to manage two large tour groups. No one was clearing tables, and the situation for us individual guests was even worse.
Another plus was the free airport shuttle bus. So, apart from the breakfast experience, everything else was very good. Free parking was also available.

A very pleasant stay! The Chinese-speaking staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They thoroughly explained how to use the kitchen and even thoughtfully provided disposable plates and utensils. Knowing we were unfamiliar with the area, they went the extra mile and drove us directly to our destination. A truly memorable and wonderful experience.

We just had an unexpectedly delightful experience at the Waiheke Island Motel, so much so that we added another night because we simply couldn't get enough of the place! Our stay began with a minor hitch: arriving late in the evening to find our pre-booked studio room was locked. However, the way the night manager and the team handled this was truly remarkable. They quickly resolved the issue by giving us a significant, stress-free upgrade to a spacious whole house with four bedrooms instead of our original studio. This immediate, generous response demonstrated exceptional hospitality and turned a potential frustration into the highlight of our trip. The motel's location is ideal; it offers a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet it's in very close proximity to both the shops and the beach. We appreciated the on-site pool and the spa options, and the minute's walk down to the community Saturday market was a fantastic bonus. Our only piece of constructive feedback relates to the spa itself—unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which was a slight disappointment. Despite the minor issue with the spa, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodation, and prime location mean we had a fantastic trip. Crucially, the price was quite reasonably priced compared to other places on Waiheke, offering excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Waiheke Island Motel!

Guest UserMy stay at the Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre felt a bit like stepping back into the 90s, which was interesting but also a bit polarizing.
The hotel's setting is actually quite good, located by the lake and generally peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. It's perfect for those looking to relax. Parking is also convenient, which was a big plus for me as I was driving.
However, upon entering the room, the age of the place was immediately apparent: the decor was old-fashioned, from the carpets to the furniture, giving it a distinct 'old-school hotel' vibe, reminiscent of a 90s business hotel. On the bright side, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough, so it didn't detract from the basic stay experience.
As for amenities, they were pretty standard. There weren't any particularly modern features; it leaned more towards practical rather than luxurious. The service was decent though, with friendly staff who were quite responsive.
The pros are its quiet location, pleasant environment, and reasonable value for money. The main drawback is definitely its age; if you're particular about how new a hotel feels, you might be a little disappointed.
Overall, it's an 'aged but not bad' hotel, best suited for those who prioritize peace and practicality over modern decor.
