This restaurant has a wonderful sense of space; the main hall is bright and lively, and it was packed with people on a weekend evening. At the next table, a family was celebrating their child's birthday. When they blew out the candles, the whole corner was filled with the sound of singing "Happy Birthday." The warm yellow lighting illuminated everyone's faces, and the heartwarming, homely atmosphere was incredibly comforting. We ordered their signature sweet and sour pork ribs and stir-fried seasonal vegetables. The ribs had a perfect balance of sweet and sour, and the meat was tender and juicy.
I came to this restaurant before specifically for their signature lamb intestines, and the portion was really generous. I recommend ordering this; don't order too much, one serving of lamb intestines plus a steamed bun is definitely enough for two people. The sweet and sour pork was also okay, but the meat was a little dry. Parking is quite convenient, which is a good thing.
You should try the pit-pot fish; the fish is quite tender, and the side dishes at the bottom are very flavorful. The chive pancakes should be eaten while they're hot, as the crust is crispy. Ordering and serving are both quite fast, which is convenient for people in a hurry.
