柳穗(文体店)

The pastries at this shop are made fresh daily by the old lady, and you can chat with her while you buy them. She's incredibly kind and told me so many stories from her past. Don't you also enjoy chatting with shop owners who have such interesting stories to tell? Me too, haha! The pastries are still warm when you get them. It's located at the corner of the old street.

I've eaten at this restaurant before; it only costs a little over 20 yuan per person, and you can get a pretty filling meal. I recommend it to students or those who have just started working; it's much more affordable than those flashy, trendy restaurants.

The taste is only found in the old shops here; the crust is crispy enough, and the filling of diced radish and ham is quite unique. Actually, locals don't go to the newly opened shops much; they just appreciate the authentic, down-to-earth atmosphere of old Hechi.
