The tripe soup (shkembe chorba) was solid—good quality meat, cooked right. Service was fine, no complaints. Would come back for that dish alone.

The cream soup with king prawns and caviar really stood out for me. The broth had this deep, rich flavour and the prawns were properly fresh, not rubbery at all. I did wish the portion was a bit bigger though, especially at that price. But the quality of the ingredients was clear, and that's what I care about most when eating out.

The grilled octopus was the standout. Tender, smoky, just the right amount of salt. Pizzas were solid too, decent crust. Salads fresh. Didn't care much about the vibe but it was fine. Service was okay, nothing special. Would come back for that octopus though. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but the taste makes up for it.

Been coming here for a while now. The patatnik is still as good as the first time I tried it. Cozy place, never disappoints.

The desserts are the real reason to come here—I had the chocolate tart and it was spot on. Service was friendly without hovering, which I appreciate. Seats were comfortable enough to linger a bit longer than planned. Solid spot if you want an easy, low-key meal.

Stopped by for a quick lunch around 1pm. Got the homemade-style stew, it was solid and filling. Staff were on it, got me in and out fast enough. Place gets packed though, so you might wait a bit if you hit the rush. Fine for a speedy bite when you're in the area.

We stopped by again this year and the Tonus salad was just as fresh as I remembered. The greens were crisp, tomatoes actually tasted like tomatoes. I had the beef burger too, meat was decent quality, not too greasy. House wine is cheap and fine. Place gets busy around noon, but the ingredients felt clean and that's what matters to me.

The pork kavarma was really good, tender and flavorful. Creme caramel with ice cream caught me off guard, such a nice little dessert. Place was spotless too.

The winter setup is really cozy — perfect for hanging out with friends. We grabbed a table by the window and the food totally hit the spot. Warm, comfy, and just the right vibe for a chill evening.

The rabbit here is what keeps me coming back. Tender, falls off the bone, cooked in that rich sauce. Lamb was solid too, proper portion. Maybe a bit heavy on the salt but I didn't really care. Just good, honest Bulgarian food.

The interior is really nice and the food was good, but I felt the prices were a bit steep for the portions. Kunefe wasn't quite like the one I had in Turkey, though the service made up for it.

The Smilyan beans were decent, and the beef kavarma was pretty good too. Portions were generous, though the place got a bit noisy later on. Fine for a casual meal.

The location is the main reason I’d come back—right next to a pine park, super calm and green. Food was solid, big portions, especially the salads and grilled veggies. Service was nice but got a bit slow once it filled up. Not perfect, but for a quiet lunch outside, it works.

Tried the lunch menu today — mackerel and beef meatballs were both solid. Fresh, no fuss. Had to wait a bit but it was fine.
