Lovely airy and light restaurant with fabulous views over the beach out to sea, don&rsquo;t be put off my going up into the building as when you get to the restaurant the staff and food are lovely, two set 3 course meals and quite a lot of choice a la cart. Staff were very attentive and spoke very good English if needed. Would highly recommend

It&rsquo;s a small authentic Italian restaurant in Le Pollet area of Dieppe. Dishes were tasty and homemade by an Italian chef.  Would have been good to have salad with our meals too We had a lovely evening with our group of 8 friends. Merci

Great little place to stop and have a lovely meal before boarding the ferry back to Newhaven. Fast and efficient service from a very friendly server, food was excellent - we especially liked the cheese naan - a first for us! Would definitely return - thank you!

Excellent restaurant where you feel like you&#39;re somewhere else as soon as you step inside.

The food is delicious and fresh. Everything is cooked fresh when you order, so you can choose the intensity of the spices immediately, or even have an ingredient removed or added.
A warm atmosphere filled with the aroma of cooking spices. The owner and his wife are friendly and explain the dishes on the menu.
We thoroughly enjoyed all these fine and delicate dishes.
A little extra: the chef offers us a light digestif that tastes of another world.
From starter to dessert, pure bliss!!!

We stopped off in Dieppe for lunch on the way back to Calais from Normandy and picked Le Palmier based on the positive reviews - they are all true - not fancy but a warm and cheerful restaurant with lovely good value food and excellent friendly service - we had 3 tagines (vegetarian. Marakesh (meatballs, peas &amp; egg) and Chicken and Prunes and Almonds) and one Coscous Royal (Coscous with a side plate of mixed grilled meat) - all were great - portion sizes are generous too - one tagine, a salad and fries would feed 2 for lunch  - special mention for the lovely waitress who served us - strongly recommended

We arrived early for our booking and were immediately greeted and assisted to find a table (were given an option of seat). Our drinks choices were taken and menu offered immediately. We were given time to choose and the staff were very reactive to our needs.  Once our order was taken very soon the table was arranged (as we ordered a seafood platter) Another table was pulled alongside to put this on.  We were given the necessary tools for the crab and lobster and a couple of hand wipes each plus bowl for scraps to go on.   The seafood was all fresh and well cooked apart from the oysters that were supposed to be raw. Additional bread was quickly available. We both tried local cider which was delicious and drinks were not pushed as we were driving.  We tried the mini dessert collection a variety of hot n cold.  Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will return. Recommended. Free parking by the beach 5-10 mins walk.
