Donskoy Monastery Review

The monastery was built in the late 16th century. In 1380, the Grand Duke of Moscow Dmitry led the troops to victory over the Mongol army on the Don River. According to legend, in addition to the blessing of St. Sergi, the Russian army won the victory, there is a very spiritual image of the Virgin.
