My 8-year old son and I had an excellent lunch at this brasserie on our last day in Paris. We wanted something special near to our hotel, and we certainly got it. La Tour de Nestle looks like one of those bar-restaurants that you often see in Paris: situated on the corner of a road, with floor to ceiling windows, a terrace and a bar at one end, propped up by neighbourhood regulars. But this one set itself apart from the usual fare in that it was cleaner, better managed, better decorated and more upmarket than other bars I've been to. Service was excellent, and so was the food. My son chose lamb, and the waiter was happy to substitute very good chips for the puree de pomme it was supposed to come with. I chose the burger LTN (a reserve option in case my son didn't like the lamb). The portions were generous and the dishes delicious. The waiter was also helpful in choosing a light wine for me to go with the burger, and there was no sniffiness about having a burger. Neighbouring tables had ordered salads, and they looked excellent too. We had no room for dessert. Had it not been our last day in Paris, we would have gone back. I'm not sure whether the waiter spoke English, but the menu was in English as well as French.
