Lingshan Review

Beijing Donglingshan Scenic Area is located in the northwestern mountainous area of Mentougou District, at the junction of Zhangjiakou Elk and Huailai counties. It is the first peak of Beijing, and it and the tall mountains and scattered peaks that line the surrounding area together form the "roof" mountain network in Beijing. Dongling Mountain Natural Scenic Area is 122 kilometers away from Beijing, and its peak altitude is 2303 meters. It is the first peak in Beijing. The west is adjacent to Longmen Forest Park; the east is connected to Longmenyu Scenic Area; and the south is connected to G109.

We arrived at the foot of Lingshan on April 30, 2022, and chose a hotel to stay. We saw the long-lost starry sky and the Milky Way at night. Departing at 8 o'clock the next morning, the entrance from Julingxia entered the scenic spot, the ticket was 30, and the newly developed line climbed Lingshan. There was only one line. I was not afraid of getting lost. It was about 3 kilometers of stone road ➕ 5 kilometers of wooden plank road. The road is still relatively easy to walk. The cumulative climb is about 1700 meters (absolute altitude increase is 1400 meters). There are yaks and wild leeks on the top of the mountain, and the scenery is also very good. Need special attention: 1. Climbing Lingshan exercise intensity is relatively large, you can do your own, trekking poles and knee protection are necessary, otherwise the mountain road will make you doubt your life. 2. The temperature on the top of the mountain is much lower than the following. When we went up, the temperature on the top of the mountain was 2℃, and the northwest wind was 6~8 levels. Wearing a jacket and only snoring for 15 minutes. Girls are best to bring warm babies. 3. Conditional with professional cameras, mobile phones can't take the effect of beautiful scenery. 4. Accommodation for 200 nights in a standard room, including breakfast, if you order a la carte, it will be very expensive, home-cooked dishes are about twice as expensive as in the city.

It is at least several degrees lower than Beijing, just like being at both ends of a season with the interior, and it is cool in midsummer. It will be cold later. Jingshan is beautiful, very steep, and densely forested.

Coming back from Wutai Mountain, we came to Lingshan, one of the famous scenic spots in Mentougou. Lingshan, the first peak in Beijing, climbs 2308 meters to the main peak. The actual climbing distance should exceed this two to three times. There are two and a half sleeves on the top of the mountain. It is worth remembering that today, the small goal of climbing a mountain every year has been accomplished and a professional mountain climbing team in Inner Mongolia has met on the way to climb the mountain.
