Went to this as it came up highly rated here. Rarely write bad reviews on here but it was absolutely terrible and extremely overpriced. The whole experience was awful. Live music playing (which is obviously a massive plus) but it was way too loud. Ordered a beer, HB dunkel draft for 48rmb. My wife tasted it and exclaimed, 'it tastes like kimchi' (it shouldn't taste like kimchi). To their credit, after some gentle persuasion, they replaced said pint for something in a bottle. In-between this conversation, the food had arrived in a shorter time than a McDonald's breakfast does,, which included a very sorry-looking papaya salad. The mango fried rice was plentyful, yet bizarrely dry. And the thai beef curry wouldn't have fed a cat, which if offered would probably have passed it up anyway. The food was about as Thai as I am ( I'm not Thai). We left wondering what other people see in the place and how on Earth it remains open. The only possible explanation is that it is slap-bang in the middle of touristville, where people are determined to have a good time and think it's the epitomy of human civilisation because it has a Starbucks in the town. 258rmb for three dishes, plus two beers. Really wish I would have taken pictures of the place, but I was too busy downing my pint so we could leave.
