Siyue Academy Site Review

Siyue College, located in Dongmen Pedestrian Street, was built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. The original site is No. 22 Nanqing Street, covering an area of about 228 square meters. It is a private house built by the Zhang clan of Luohu Shuibei, Hubei and Xiangxi Sancun to commemorate the ancestors "Zhang Siyue". It is also a place where Zhang and the children of the surrounding villagers read and study.

Siyue College is located in Dongmen Pedestrian Street, Luohu District, Shenzhen. It was built in the Qing Kangxi period. It has a history of more than 300 years. It was a reception station for the provincial Hong Kong strike and was baptized by the storms of the Revolutionary War. "Learning to the people and benefiting the people" is the consistent purpose of the ancient Siyue College.

Dongmen Old Street actually has no precious cultural relics, except for a modern Siyue College barely shortlisted. Here, the old street can overlook Shenzhen's second-highest (Kingji 100) and third-highest building.
