Very nice hotel inside the walls of the Ancient City. Owners didn't speak English but they managed to communicate with translator tools, they picked me and take me back to train station and provided me with good advise on places to visit. Room was warm and clean and decoration was really nice. Thanks so much

This hotel is a real value for money. It has excellent location, modern room amenities. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a wide range of varieties. The hotel has a restaurant called Fenglingge which serves great local cuisine with reasonable price. For hotel guest, there is a RMB60 restaurant voucher given to offset the restaurant bill at Fenglingge. One of the staff at Fenglingge, Liu Guangzhen 刘光珍 is very attentive and helpful and provides great service.

Spent a most enjoyable 5-day stay here. The owners are really nice -- they not only surprised us with a welcome fruit platter but also sent another one on another day. When we had to wake up super early on one of the days, they actually cooked 2 hard boil eggs for us to pack for breakfast (despite us saying no the night before as we didn't wish to trouble them). The husband also sent us via his car to a nearby pick-up point that we had to assemble at 5.40am. This is a very nicely done up place, well-maintained and very clean too. Good quality toiletries provided, comfortable bed, bathroom with a shower cubicle, water that is hot enough, even a toilet bowl. Great location -- there're rows of different types of shops nearby but it's still surprisingly quiet despite our room facing the road with a balcony, there're 2 cafes nearby, a nearby eatery that sells the most delicious 'shao bing' (crispy skin pastry with meat in it) - it's freshly made when one orders and a adjoining noodle stall that serves noodles that's quite OK too. It's just opposite the Hua Yan Si temple - one of the must-visit on the list of places in Datong. Hua Yan temple is also located in a huge square with more shops and food. From the front door of the homestay, turn right and walk all the way down abt 15-20mins, go through the ancient walls and then cross the road, you'll find Parkson mall there - a huge modern mall with all your usual F & B + shops that you'll find in these malls, supermarket, etc. The bus-stop to Yun Gang Grottoes is also nearby. A new landmark that makes it easy to locate this charming homestay : a new huge pink bunny with the Chinese characters of Datong on a green artificial grass patch, that is located just abt 200m away from its main entrance.

Had a really enjoyable weekend! The private hot spring was fantastic; the outdoor area had a great ambiance, and the water temperature was just perfect for a relaxing soak. It was so stress-relieving! The place was also very clean, making for a comfortable stay and a fun, easy-going time. The front desk and butler service were attentive and detailed, and the complimentary fruit was fresh. Plus, free and convenient parking for self-drivers. I really didn't want to leave and have already recommended it to my friends!

The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the window view of the Tang Dynasty-style architecture, though the window view from inside the room is a bit awkward, but that's not a major issue. The room was clean, tidy, and odorless, and complimentary snacks and drinks were provided. The front desk staff were also very polite and friendly. The location is excellent, right opposite the entrance to Huayan Temple, with many great dining options nearby. Parking is convenient. However, I do have a few suggestions: 1. Breakfast ends at 9 AM. When checking in, the front desk asked guests whether they preferred knife-cut noodles or lamb offal soup for the next morning and registered their choices. So, shouldn't preparations have been made in advance according to this? It's unacceptable to tell guests after 9 AM that there's no breakfast left. Furthermore, the butler added guests on WeChat, so they could have easily checked before breakfast service ended. Given that there weren't many guests, breakfast service could be much more personalized. 2. When guests check out, the staff should proactively ask if they need a parking voucher. 3. I asked the front desk about Shanhua Temple, and they seemed completely unfamiliar with it. Those in the tourism industry really need to do more basic homework. 4. The buttons for the handheld showerhead and the rain shower were reversed.

It uses the bricks and tiles of the ancient city as paper and the caring service as ink to write a chapter of the anniversary full of warmth and surprises for us. If you are eager to find a place with convenience, style and humanistic care in the thousand-year texture of Datong, Mu Qingchen will be a name that lives up to your expectations in your journey - it understands the weight of ritual, and knows how to make the laughter of a family echo for a long time under the ancient city wall.

五一小長假選擇了來運城體驗悠久的歷史和文化，很幸運的預訂到了希爾頓歡朋酒店，對於酒店整體很滿意，但是也要有幾個槽點來和大家分享，希望能幫到更多的來運城的遊客，也希望酒店能越來越好！ 先説優點： 1、酒店位置應該在新區，周圍環境乾淨整潔，比較安靜，交通便利，距離機場打車20分鐘，附近也有很多公交站可以選擇前往市中心各個地點； 2、酒店內部裝修和房間內明亮雅緻，基礎設施一應俱全，酒店大堂還有點心和飲料，並且提供書籍和下午茶點，很貼心； 3、最值得讚揚的是精緻多樣的自助早餐，不僅中西式餐食都有，而且每天不斷換新，味道還好吃，大廚現場製作運城特色美食，比如雞湯餛飩、各類麪條、饃夾肉等，每天早上都吃的特別開心滿足； 4、工作人員都很熱情親切，從前台到保潔到餐廳廚師，每一次遇到都會主動打招呼並且提供服務，幫助解決問題。 再來吐槽一下： 1、酒店的電梯速度有些慢，而且不顯示在幾樓，遇到着急的時候等待真的很讓人焦慮； 2、房間內空調風速太小製冷效果慢，風速太大噪音就很大； 3、房間內牆壁上請注意及時養護，看到好多污漬，雖然無傷大雅但是看到了就不太舒服； 4、保潔打掃衹是打掃，雖然這5天4晚都是我自己在住，但是我更希望看到的是消毒而不是表面清潔，雖然這對保潔來説壓力比較大，但是對客人來説更安心； 5、最要命的槽點！衞生間和浴室的門有磁吸，無法靜音關閉，不論是隨手一關還是輕輕貼上都會發齣劇烈的聲響！尤其是晚上入睡的時候，像我這樣睡眠質量不好的人真慶幸自己帶了耳塞，這個槽點強烈建議改善！ 雖然有吐槽但是這幾天的旅程很開心，希望酒店能更優化改進，希望運城旅遊更紅火興隆！

The hotel is very stylishly designed, and the lobby and rooms are full of art. It's perfect for taking photos! The room is clean and tidy, and the bedding is soft and I slept soundly. I was completely satisfied from check-in to check-out. I was very detail-conscious and couldn't find any faults. The housekeepers were super enthusiastic and prepared a detailed check-in guide. They also provide free parking, which is worry-free and considerate. The location is also very convenient, quiet but not remote. From toiletries to small decorations, you can feel the care. The price-performance ratio is super high! I will definitely choose this place next time I come, and I strongly recommend it to my friends~

My stay at the Novotel Hotel was fantastic. The hotel called us after our reservation to ask what time we'd be arriving and how many children we had. They even pre-arranged the beds for us. We're a family of four, and usually when we stay in other hotels, we have to make our own beds in double rooms. The Novotel not only pre-arranged the beds but also gave us an extra blanket, which was very thoughtful. The hotel environment was great and new, and the service was very warm and welcoming. It's conveniently located within the scenic area with shuttle buses to various attractions. They also gave us complimentary tickets to the petting zoo, which our children enjoyed immensely. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Yunqiu Mountain. The breakfast was also plentiful, clean, and hygienic.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was captivated by its luxurious and grand decor. The marble floor was as shiny as a mirror, and the crystal chandeliers sparkled, making me feel like I was in an art palace. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. They also thoughtfully introduced me to all of the hotel's facilities. The room I stayed in was spacious and bright, decorated in a cozy and comfortable manner. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin. The room's soundproofing was excellent, completely shielding me from outside disturbances. The bathroom was fully equipped, and the toiletries were all high-quality brands, which made using them a real pleasure. The hotel's recreational facilities were also very extensive. The gym had a full range of equipment, meeting all my daily workout needs. The swimming pool was crystal clear with suitable water temperature. Swimming in it, all my fatigue seemed to wash away. This stay was truly impeccable, and I highly recommend everyone to experience this hotel! I believe you'll fall in love with it just as I did.
