Really recommended. We were picked up and dropped off at the train station, staff is lovely and helpful. Room is very clean and authentic, with all the utilities you need. Good location as well, close to the main sights and close to the entrance of the ancient town.

This place is absolutely wonderful. Centrally located, the building is magnificent and our room was a dream (we were also upgraded and our room was on two levels with a nice balcony and a really spacious living area). Staff was really helpful and kind - they also hired a driver for us since we wanted to visit Hanging Monastery directly from the high speed station, before even checking in at the hotel: they took care perfectly of our necessity and the organisation was flawless. I really recommend this place to anybody! you will not regret it!!!

The facilities are top-notch, and the service was beyond satisfactory. The breakfast, in particular, was very extensive; it's the first time I've ever had steak for breakfast at a hotel! The hotel is just opposite the ticket office of Huayan Temple, which is very convenient. Because it is a renovation of an ancient building, there is no elevator, but the hotel staff will help take the luggage from the parking lot to the hotel. Because we have to leave early the next morning and miss the hotel breakfast, after telling the front desk, the hotel manager specially ordered takeaway milk and bread for us. Thank you very much! There are also free snacks and drinks in the room water bar. In the evening, the staff also prepared Chinese medicine foot bath buckets and Tremella soup. For me who has walked a lot for several consecutive days, it is simply great. I feel much more comfortable after soaking my feet in hot water. This detail is really heartwarming!

I booked this guesthouse for one night at the last minute, as I couldn't find a hotel room for Saturday during the tail end of my holiday. They were always friendly and greeted guests warmly, contacting me in advance about my itinerary. Upon arrival, they helped with my luggage, recommended routes, and offered sound advice. Breakfast was very enjoyable and peaceful. A touch of soft background music, however, would have actually enhanced the experience. This guesthouse is situated right behind 'A Dream of Datong', faces the pedestrian street, and Huayan Temple is just across the road. It's also very close to the city wall's climbing entrance. It's a great choice for visiting the ancient city – a true oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle. This time, I only brought my child, but next time, our family of three will definitely come together to experience it.

Later I found out that this view king room is on both sides of the aisle at the entrance of the homestay. People come and go, and you have to look inside when you pass by.
