Spotless and clean! We booked the 180 Panorama Room to experience the large bath in room and it did not disappoint. The hotel is located inside a building along with a couple other hotel properties but it’s easy enough to locate. The design aesthetics is more cyber and lots of glass and mirrors so if that’s your thing you’ll like it. (I personally would like a bit more warmth.) Comes with butler service and coffee every morning which is a lovely feature. Location is about 15 min walk (a very uninteresting walk) to the closest metro so we hauled a cab every time we went out. The toilet is japanese style which is cool. My only grievance is that the sliding door is basically see thru so might be a bit awkward when using the toilet lol.

This hotel has a great design and a fantastic location. There's a large terrace where you can enjoy mountain views, drink tea, and meditate. We booked a 'double-sided snow mountain view' room, which offered views of Siguniang Mountain on one side and Balang Mountain on the other – truly magnificent and beautiful! The 'golden mountain' sunset wasn't very prominent, but the sunrise 'golden mountain' was absolutely stunning. We didn't even have to brave the cold; we could enjoy the view right from our room. At night, the sky was filled with stars, and Orion was clear and bright – it felt like we could reach out and touch them! The hotel's dining is also highly recommended. We ordered the yak hotpot set, which came with 1.2 catties (approx. 600g) of beef and four vegetables. We were worried it wouldn't be enough for four people, so we added a portion of cured ribs, grilled sausages, and barley cakes, all of which were delicious. We ate our fill and even packed some leftovers. It happened to be New Year's, and the hotel even hosted an evening song and dance party, which was so engaging and helped us forget all our worries! Now, let's talk about the hotel's service – I'd give it 200 points! Before check-in, they learned we were experiencing altitude sickness and had been to the clinic for oxygen, so they suggested we get an oxygen pillow. It really came in handy later that night. However, we still felt unwell until past 4 AM. We contacted the staff, and they responded immediately, took us to the town clinic for oxygen, and then picked us up after we felt better. We were so touched; we didn't miss the 8 AM golden mountain sunrise, and they even offered us a late checkout so we could rest more. Their service is thoughtful and heartwarming; I will definitely recommend this place to my relatives and friends! If I'm ever fortunate enough to return and see more unseen sights, I'll choose 'Yangwang Xinkong' again. I wish the hotel all the best and the staff a happy and prosperous New Year!

The room was spacious, and the hotel's location was fantastic, right near the bar street but with excellent soundproofing from outside noise. It was super convenient for grabbing food, and there were plenty of convenience stores nearby. The facilities were very comprehensive, even including a washer and dryer. The front desk staff (butlers) were incredibly responsive whenever we needed anything. And the night view was unbeatable!!! Highly recommend!!!

The room is beautiful and very clean. Housekeeping is excellent, and the front desk staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is also great! Good overall experience, the rooms here have a very interesting design, but there were some problems that I encountered. First of all, the room amenities included a city view, but actually there is just a small window placed very high, through which you cannot see anything else than a wall. In addition to that, the window does not even close, so I was constantly hearing noise from outside. Second, the sink did not function too well,resulting in a slow decreasing level of water, almost like it was clogged. Lastly, in the amenities included there was a minibar, snacks, soda drinks and instant food, all for free. The only things that were actually available were water, tea and some biscuits, which didn't quite fit what was written on Trip.

The hotel is good and affordable, with a very strategic location in the city center of Chengdu. It’s close to shopping areas and the station, which made getting around very convenient. The hotel staff are friendly, and the room was clean. The only downside was the there is small space in shower room, so when we showered, water tended to spill out and made the floor wet. However, overall we really liked this hotel and enjoyed our stay🙂

During our 7-day trip to Chongqing and Chengdu, our three-night stay at the Lin'en International Hotel made us feel right at home – convenient and comfortable. The room was very spacious, featuring two beds (a king and a queen) in separate areas, along with two sinks and two toilets. This setup was perfect for our family of four, allowing plenty of space and making it easy to look after each other. The large bathroom included a separate shower area and a bathtub. Complimentary disposable bath liners and bath salts were provided, which was a huge relief after tiring days of sightseeing – a hot bath was just what we needed to unwind. The room also had a desk and lamp, plus essential stationery. Our second-grader, who had daily homework, was absolutely thrilled and gave it a big thumbs-up as soon as we walked in. The hotel’s decor is sophisticated and very well-maintained. Every corner, from the common areas to the rooms, was impeccably clean. Both of our children have allergies and suffer from perennial rhinitis and sensitive skin. Before our stay, I saw a negative review about skin issues and was a bit worried, so I specifically contacted Ctrip to inquire. I was told it was an isolated case related to seasonal changes and individual constitutions, and that the hygiene standards were definitely up to par. After checking in, none of the children’s rhinitis flared up, and no one in the family experienced any skin itching. During our stay, an auntie came to clean the room daily, change supplies, and vacuum the carpets with a specialized machine – this deserves a special shout-out! 👍 The complimentary laundry service was particularly fantastic, saving us a lot of time and adding immense convenience to our trip. Staff would collect our clothes from the room daily, wash and dry them, then meticulously fold each item before returning them to our room. It was incredibly thoughtful. The hotel's breakfast was superb and varied. In addition to the typical Chinese and Western dishes, stir-fries, fruits, drinks, and pastries found in star-rated hotels, they also offered local snacks like Bobo Chicken, Tofu Pudding, Dandan Noodles, and Long Chaoshou. The presentation also had a distinct local flavor. The complimentary afternoon tea was also excellent. From the concierge and front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was polite and courteous. They provided services like opening car doors, pressing elevator buttons, and carrying luggage to our room whenever we needed assistance. When we checked out, they even gave our children panda plushies, which was a lovely gesture! The hotel has its own parking lot, making it very convenient for those traveling by car. The location is also excellent, with Chunxi Road just a 10-minute walk away. There are also many local snacks and specialty restaurants nearby. We will definitely choose Lin'en International Hotel again on our next visit to Chengdu! Wishing them all the best and continued success!

My overall experience staying at this hotel was great. The room offered a fantastic view of Taikoo Li at night, which was absolutely stunning. The in-room sound system and the floor-to-ceiling windows created a very comfortable ambiance. The room was well-equipped, and they even offer a private butler service. 'Bread' was my butler, and they were incredibly helpful, even retrieving a package for me so I didn't have to leave my room – very satisfied! I also forgot my phone, and 'Bread' responded instantly. Big thumbs up and kudos to the butler for their enthusiastic service!

My trip to Chengdu was fantastic, and my stay at this hotel was a big part of that – I genuinely recommend it! The room was spotless and cozy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring. The front desk staff were all so kind and welcoming; check-in was super quick, and they were always patient and helpful with any questions or issues, which made me feel right at home. The location is also super convenient. Stepping out, you're immediately immersed in Chengdu's vibrant atmosphere, with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The breakfast was a real highlight, offering authentic local Chengdu specialties that were absolutely delicious – I started every day feeling very satisfied. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. It was a comfortable and reassuring place to stay, making it perfect for a Chengdu trip. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit; it absolutely deserves a five-star rating!

It's necessary to leave a nuanced review. On the positive side, beautiful rooms, great location, and very kind and friendly staff. We loved our stay. And would love to stay again. Notes for improvement (listed for the hotel's benefit): we had initially booked a more expensive room, but were offered a room layout not matching the beautiful photos seen on Trip.com. (The alternative was to downgrade to a smaller room.) I've attached photos of what we found on arrival. Needless to say, it fell far short of expectations. We had been given the choice, but the photos provided to help guide that choice were far from the reality. The hotel should never have encouraged or even presented this room as an option, just to keep us in the more expensive room category. After the first night, we rebooked the cheaper, better room. Second complaint was that at least three of the hotel's web routers were infected with viruses during our stay, and were redirecting our web traffic to pornographic websites. It routinely happens, I'm sure. And the staff were quick to find us a solution. I hope the hotel will fix the issue though. Affected rooms were: 2108, 2109, 2110. I would still recommend staying. Just communicate with the staff to ensure you are getting what you expect and have paid for.
