Very comfortable hotel with a good breakfast selection. Free parking.
Located a little far from downtown Toronto (between 30 and 45 minutes by car). Public transit is possible, but it can take a while.
The hotel is newer and the rooms are larger. Suitable for self-driving travel, no need to pay parking fees, there are no commercial supporting facilities around, you need to drive out. It is about five kilometers away from the town center and is very convenient to drive there.

We stayed one night on our way to Quebec. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and the location was great, with a popular pizza place and Etone nearby. Unfortunately, it was raining so we didn't get out much.
The hotel used cheap cotton swabs, which were completely useless. The head of the cotton swab fell into my ear. The nonchalant attitude of the hotel front desk made me furious. I spent a whole night in the pharmacy and the hospital. My child's birthday dinner was ruined by them. There was no apology or regret afterwards. What's more outrageous is that when I checked out, I found that the bill had an extra adult meal fee. When I asked the reason, they said someone asked for it and asked to include it in our 320 room fee. What kind of operation is this? I said why didn't you call us to ask. I asked who it was, and they said they didn't know. Anyway, if someone asked for it, we added it. What kind of hotel management is this? It's so easy to get breakfast for free... And I lost a black scarf in the hotel. I called halfway to ask if they found it. The front desk said yes, yes, you can come and get it anytime. I confirmed all the details of the scarf on the phone, and drove back for 1 hour to give me a gray one. ***Color blindness. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever stayed in.
We’ve had a lovely time at Auberge Saint-Antoine! The hotel is lovely and the staff are great, it’s in a great location and some rooms have lovely views like the one we were lucky to get. We used the valet the first time we stayed there who were great, but ended up parking across the road at the multi-storey car park the rest of the days as the valet is around $45+tax and tip so works out quite expensive. We found a really lovely spot around the corner for breakfast too called L’Antiquaire Buffet, they have amazing breakfast and really well priced, lovely staff too! The hotel is in a great location and easily walkable to a lot of sights and great restaurants.

This is our second visit to the Bonaventure. Both visits we have had trouble with paying for parking, and I am now calling because I think I was billed twice. I prepaid through Trip.com, and was charged again at the hotel.
That bruised a really nice visit. This was a rare family visit, and we were able to get a adjoining rooms.
Hotel is located on the 10th floor “penthouse “. There is access to the underground so no need to go outside in the cold, unless you want to take a dip in the pool. A unique experience for many guests
We miss placed our parking receipt and was given a voucher to give the parking attendant that never showed up. We waited 45 minutes to leave, had to go back up to the desk to explain and get another receipt. This morning I have to call the hotel because I believe I was charged again for the rooms. Front desk mixup? Probably, but
A quirky little hotel that is directly on the main drag in Gatineau. The room was a good size, though the tiny bathroom left a lot to be desired; it was old, dated, and so small that the sink was in the main room.
The bed, however, was very comfortable and the desk/tv setup was great. Lots of convenient receptacles for plugging in phones and the like. The fridge in the cupboard made that cupboard very hot and I'd imagine those fridges won't last long as burnout must be a thing...
Weird, convoluted directions for getting to the hot tub from our room; make sure to leave a trail of breadcrumbs or you may be lost forever.
Front desk staff were professional and completely bilingual, which was very much appreciated.
Equivalent to a resort, the giant wooden house is very classical, the surrounding environment is value for money, unfortunately the indoor swimming pool is under maintenance, looking forward to the next time

GGuest UserThe room is spacious and features a modern design with a pleasant ambiance. It is overall very clean and comfortable - just as one would expect from a Hilton-brand hotel. However, I would like to highlight the following areas for improvement:
1. There aren't any drinking water dispensers on each floor, so we had to get water from the gym in the basement, which was inconvenient for guests.
2. There is no proper kettle for tea drinkers. As tea enthusiasts, we found it inconvenient to boil water using the coffee machine, as the water carries a noticeable coffee taste and aroma which compromise the flavour of the tea. Additionally, the hotel does not provide a hot water dispenser in the common areas on each floor.
Hotel management should consider providing complimentary bottled water in each room or, at minimum, installing drinking water dispensers including hot water on each floor. Alternatively, providing a small electric kettle would be a simple yet meaningful addition to all beverage preferences.

AAnonymous UserThe service was truly wonderful — the staff were warm, attentive, and made the entire stay feel effortless and relaxing. The location is ideal for exploring Old Quebec, and the hotel’s charming atmosphere really enhances the overall experience. The little shop inside the hotel is also a lovely bonus — beautifully curated with quality local items, perfect for souvenirs or small treats. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Quebec!
GGuest UserStaying at this hotel for the third time. It is especially recommended for those who need to take the train, because the central station is connected to the back door of the hotel. The hotel's location is within walking distance to the old town and shopping streets. The hotel bed was very comfortable.
MMarley KThis hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well.
This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate.
I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.
HHenri ChauRoom: 7/10 The room is not big, much smaller than expected;
Location: 9/10 Very good sea view room, the sea is right outside the door, and this should be the favorite place for locals and tourists to take a walk and and take pictures.;
Cleanliness: 8/10 The room was cleaned very well, but there was a strong bleach smell when entering the door;
Sleep Quality: 2/10 A group of people in the next room were making loud noises and laughing unscrupulously all night. Smoking, drinking and smoking *********, they sat at the door of their room because it was on the ground floor. There were people coming in and out of the room all night, and the door opened and closed with loud noises. This was the first time I had such a bad hotel experience. Although we complained to the hotel reception, the staff came to knock on the door to remind them, also other rooms had complained too, and the staff came more than once. However, the people in this room did not stop;
GGuest UserThe room was clean and the location was excellent. I will choose this hotel next time. The front desk and downstairs security service were very good and very professional. I was impressed.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good. It is very convenient to go everywhere. There are many restaurants downstairs nearby where you can eat. There is also a large swimming pool upstairs in the hotel. There is a pool restaurant next to it where you can order food and drinks!
QQINGHUAThe hotel is right next to the University of Montreal, close to the Botanical Gardens and the Olympic Park. It is a few minutes walk away and the location is not bad. There are not many ideal restaurants nearby. Parking is free, with a registration for a coin. Although the hotel is like a school guest house, it is clean and tidy, with a four-star standard.
GGuest UserI travelled with my husband and mother-in-law to this hotel. At first, at the reception, the staff told me our staying didnt include any breakfast, then i showed the staff the receipt saying it was included. After checking the staff also said ok. But then the next morning the staff asked to pay our breakfast again. That really pissed me off. Although In the end they did apologize for their mistake.
Second the room they offered to me and my husband is horrible, full of flies and small insects. I understood this resort was in nature.. but the quantity of insects inside the room was even more than the room when we stayed in omega park’s woof chalet.. luckily they rearranged us to another room but less comfy..
Overall my staying there was not too pleasant.. a lot more to improve for the staff service skills…
