I had a power outage at home, so I booked a last-minute stay at the nearest Sheraton for a night. The staff were very friendly, the room was spotlessly clean, and the ambiance was first-class. The room was quite spacious and featured a balcony overlooking the lake, which made for a very comfortable feeling. Breakfast was decent; my favorite item was the 'zhuchanglu'. There was a good variety of breakfast options, but the coffee was undrinkable, and the hot milk wasn't rich enough. Some minor issues that could be improved were: 1. The room had two bottles of shower gel but no shampoo; I assume there was a mix-up. 2. The in-room tea bags looked quite cheap and didn't feel premium. 3. For the complimentary Southeast Asian set lunch, we sat in the restaurant for 5 minutes without any staff attending to us, and the food itself was just average.

This was my first stay here, and I got a free upgrade to a high-floor room with a lake view. The room was spacious and bright, and the service was excellent. The next day, I realized I'd left my swimming goggles and cap in the room. I called the front desk, and Qiaoling immediately arranged to have them mailed back to me. I'm so happy! I'll definitely stay here again.

Came to Foshan to buy furniture and stayed at the Sofitel Foshan for the first time. The experience was consistently excellent! Nicole at the lobby was incredibly thoughtful, always greeting me warmly and even proactively helping me plan my route to the furniture markets. The room was spacious and comfortable, with soft, cozy bedding for a great night's sleep. Breakfast offered a rich variety and was delicious. The service was meticulous, and the value for money is outstanding. This will be my top choice next time I visit Foshan!

This hotel is a mixed bag. The river view is absolutely stunning, the ambiance is fantastic, and the location is perfect – it's practically inside the scenic area. If these are your priorities, then book it without hesitation. However, and this is a major issue for a five-star hotel, there's practically no service to speak of. I'm not exaggerating; the service is worse than hotels half its price. Aside from a smiling face at the front desk, almost all the other staff were expressionless, even appearing annoyed. This was especially true for the staff in black suits at the entrance to the first-floor pool. We were new and unfamiliar with the layout, searching around for quite a while, and they just stood there like statues, staring at us. When we finally had to ask for help, their annoyance made it feel like answering a simple question was a huge favor. I can't believe this is the standard of training for a five-star hotel. We also had dim sum at Hongtu Mansion, and the food itself was fine. But again, the service was frustrating. For such a large hotel, it seems they're unwilling to hire enough staff. The servers all looked exhausted and rushed. We eventually felt bad even asking them for anything. Is this really reasonable for a restaurant where the average spend is several hundred yuan per person, plus a 15% service charge? Is White Swan doing so poorly that they can't afford more staff, or is this just part of their corporate culture?

I chose this hotel because Trip.com advertises its a SPA hotel but we asked the front desk and she said this hotel has no SPA.  Finally the manager said the SPA and massage room are not Hotel facilities and are others' property. This hotel is new furbished but not include the stairs and other you may not know portion. The security doors are always open and it can easily access from outside. Attached photos for your reference, you may know the real situation. The hotel pictures are painting and not the really hotel photos. The free breakfast starts from 7:00PM. The drop service request you to take at the right clock such as 5:00, 6:00, 7:00.... If you have flight before 10AM, then it is impossible to have a breakfast. This hotel is not recommended for the international travellers.

We booked a premium garden-view twin room, and when we arrived, Tina at the front desk upgraded our room for us – the room itself was absolutely amazing! She also thoughtfully helped me book a mahjong room. The service was truly exceptional! This is definitely the standard of a five-star hotel! The dinner selection was also fantastic. Knowing we were a family of 10, they even reserved a specific 10-person area for us and brought individual mini lobsters to our seats. So thoughtful! We'll definitely be back for Chinese New Year! A big shout-out to Tina!

Here's a review of the hotel: * **Convenient Location**: The hotel is situated west of Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, seamlessly connected to gates 16/18. It's just a 5-minute walk to and from the terminal, making it incredibly convenient for travelers catching flights. It's often called ”the best choice for early boarding.” * **Attentive Service**: One guest, staying for the first time, mentioned being pleasantly surprised with a complimentary astronaut doll from the staff. Another guest, using a wheelchair, praised the staff for their helpfulness with luggage, highlighting their thoughtfulness. * **Comfortable Rooms**: A guest in an Airport View King Room described the decor as a relaxing, natural wood style. The 40-square-meter room included a large bathtub and panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of planes taking off and landing. The double-glazed windows provided excellent sound insulation, ensuring a completely quiet experience inside the room. * **Diverse Dining**: The hotel's café blends Shenzhen's diverse local elements, featuring an Italian steak section, a BBQ area, a seafood section, and offers an extensive buffet for both breakfast and dinner. The Xiangyue Chinese Restaurant serves authentic Cantonese and Sichuan-Hunan cuisines. Guests have raved about the ”excellent” breakfast, and one was particularly impressed by the Thai food buffet, noting the wonderfully spicy Tom Yum soup and delicious freshly grilled oysters. * **Excellent Facilities**: The hotel boasts a three-story heated swimming pool, a gym, a saltwater spa, and a flight experience center with extensive family-friendly amenities, as well as a kids' club. These facilities cater to the needs of various guests.

The room was spotless, and since I was staying with two babies, I asked the housekeeper, Caroline, for a bed rail, which was already set up for us. They also provided plenty of drinking water every day, which was a thoughtful touch. The cleaning staff were all very polite. On the second day, they even brought us fruit. Overall, the stay was excellent.

Amanda at the front desk was super nice during check-in! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, within walking distance to the subway and shopping areas. The room was spotless, the bedding soft for a great night's sleep, and the front desk service was quick and thoughtful. Excellent value for money, definitely my top choice for future trips! The hygiene details were impeccable! The bathroom had no strange odors, no hair on the bedding, and the facilities were new and functional. Plenty of hot water and stable WiFi. The service was unobtrusive yet always available when needed, making for a super comfortable stay! This stay exceeded my expectations! The environment was quiet, not noisy at all, with excellent soundproofing, and the breakfast was varied and fresh. The staff provided smiling service throughout, making me feel right at home. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserI visited with my two kids for a weekend. The lobby is on the 95th floor, and the service at the front desk and in the corridors was excellent, especially the concierge. My friend arrived earlier and was checking in upstairs. I pulled up to the hotel entrance with my younger child, and a polite young man from the concierge team immediately helped me with my luggage without me even having to get out of the car. My friend's family could then come down and head out for afternoon tea, which was incredibly convenient and efficient. I heard that the windows with a side view of Canton Tower are quite small, and since we were going to the 107th floor for drinks in the evening, I opted for a room with a large window facing IFC, where we enjoyed the sunset 🌅. Compared to my friend's family of three who stayed in a Rosewood Residence apartment suite, the apartment had a better view and, because the room was larger, offered a panoramic vista. However, apartment guests have breakfast on a different floor than hotel guests, though they can pay extra to eat the hotel breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was exquisite, but I do have to complain about the server that day. After we had already gotten our food, it took quite a while for her to bring us the menu to order dishes like eggs Benedict and waffles. And she served later-arriving guests before us. Since I was alone with two kids, I initially forgot about it, but by the time the menu came, the kids were already full and couldn't eat anything else from it. This was the only disappointing part of our stay. The breakfast server had a cold demeanor and wasn't very welcoming. I would have given full marks for service otherwise, but she definitely cost a point. Besides noodles and congee, there were also dumplings, which the kids loved. I personally thought their congee and noodles were particularly delicious – perhaps I drank a bit too much the night before 😄. The swimming pool was not crowded and had three separate areas. The service there was also very enthusiastic, and the children had a wonderful time. During check-in, the housekeeper on our floor was exceptionally thoughtful. She proactively brought extra towels, bathrobes, slippers, and toothbrushes, whereas at other hotels, you usually have to call to request these. She even asked if I needed anything else – a big thumbs up for her! Once the kids were asleep in the evening, my girlfriend and her husband and I enjoyed listening to music and having a few drinks and a chat on the 107th floor. This rare opportunity for drinks was precisely why we chose the Rosewood and why it's the perfect choice when traveling with kids 😄.

PPatananikongxianshejianLocated right by Shennan Avenue, the hotel boasts convenient transportation. The rooms are quite spacious, around 40 square meters, and come fully equipped. The shower gel and body lotion smell great, and the water pressure and temperature in the shower are excellent. The room itself was very quiet overall, and despite a construction site nearby, it didn't disturb my rest at all. From the corner, you can even catch a glimpse of the Shennan Avenue view. Breakfast was quite substantial, with a pleasant surprise: after breakfast, there was Dehua ice cream available, which my child absolutely loved. Overall, it was a great experience.

XXiaoxiaosu♡While the facilities at Hengqin Bay Hotel are a bit dated, the service is incredibly thoughtful. Since we had elderly family members who needed to rest at noon, the butler promptly arranged a room for us, and we received complimentary fruit and snacks daily. One of our rooms had a balcony directly overlooking the Whale Shark Aquarium, and watching the fireworks from there in the evening was absolutely blissful… The hotel breakfast was quite varied, and the shuttle service was very convenient. I highly recommend Ocean Kingdom; Chimelong Spaceship Theme Park might be more suitable for younger children. The package deals are great value for money and I recommend buying them.

GGuest UserFrom the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel operates on a level of excellence that transcends borders and benchmarks. Having traveled extensively across Canada and other parts of the world, I can confidently say that this property—and more importantly, its staff (Maimai)—sets a new gold standard in hospitality. They accommodated our request to use the gym during extended hours at their inconvenience, allowed use of their lounges while moving their other reservations around. The Hotel: Impeccable Design Meets Thoughtful Functionality Every corner of the hotel speaks to a commitment to detail. The architecture is both grand and inviting, blending modern elegance with local charm. Rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and intuitively designed for comfort and convenience. From the plush bedding to the ambient lighting and high-end amenities, it’s clear that no expense was spared in creating a sanctuary for guests. The common areas—lobby, lounges, spa, and dining spaces—are equally impressive. They strike the perfect balance between luxury and warmth, making you feel both pampered and at home. The Staff: A Masterclass in Service What truly elevates this hotel is its team. Every staff member we encountered (Maimai again haha)—from front desk to housekeeping, concierge to restaurant servers—embodied professionalism, warmth, and a genuine desire to make our stay exceptional. Front Desk: Efficient, welcoming, and proactive. They remembered our names, anticipated our needs, and made check-in/check-out seamless. Concierge: A wealth of local knowledge and a magician when it comes to reservations and recommendations. They went above and beyond to personalize our itinerary. Housekeeping: Discreet, thorough, and consistent. Our room was refreshed daily with precision and care. Dining Staff: Attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always eager to accommodate dietary preferences. It’s rare to see such a uniformly high level of service across all departments. The team operates like a well-oiled machine, yet each interaction feels personal and heartfelt. Culinary Excellence (Dimsum) The dining experience was nothing short of spectacular. Whether it was breakfast in the sunlit atrium or dimsum (with a potential business partner) in the signature restaurant, every meal was a celebration of flavor and presentation. Ingredients were fresh, menus were creative, and the chefs clearly take pride in their craft. Commitment to Excellence What sets this hotel apart is its unwavering commitment to excellence. It’s not just about luxury—it’s about creating meaningful experiences. The staff doesn’t just meet expectations; they anticipate and exceed them. There’s a culture of care, pride, and hospitality that permeates every interaction. Compared to even the finest hotels in Canada, this property stands out for its consistency, warmth, and attention to detail. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place to remember. Final Thoughts If you're looking for a hotel that delivers more than just a room, but an experience that lingers long after checkout, this is it. Whether you're traveling for business, leisure, or celebration, this team will make you feel like the most important guest in the world. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough. This is hospitality at its finest. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

DDZ211This was my first time staying here, and I had high hopes for this 94-year-old hotel. The location is excellent, right next to the subway and a shopping district. On my floor, there was a self-service water dispenser, which was very convenient. The room was clean and well-equipped, and the minibar even offered complimentary drinks and afternoon tea. Overall, my stay was pleasant. The breakfast had a good selection of vegetarian options and a nice mix of Western and Chinese flavors. The WeChat customer service was also very responsive! Now, for the cons and oddities: 1. I arrived at 1 PM, and there were no available rooms, which is quite rare. However, I understand this can happen as I also benefited from their late check-out service, so no complaints there. The issue was that despite checking in at 1 PM and the front desk already having my information, and being told at 2:30 PM that a room was reserved, I was given an end-of-hallway room. I don't understand why I'd get a less desirable room when arriving early. Furthermore, when I went to collect my key card at 6 PM, the male front desk agent repeatedly double-checked my information (I assume the 1 PM agent had already entered it, but there was a handover issue), which caused a bit of a delay. 2. In the end-of-hallway room, 1617, I could clearly hear singing from outside at night, as well as intermittent low-frequency noise, like an air conditioning unit (not the mini-fridge, I know the difference). 3. The lighting in the room was too bright. At night, the mirror's button light and the smart toilet's indicator lights were excessively bright. I ultimately had to unplug the toilet, which then meant it couldn't flush, and the remote control was useless except for the flush button. 4. The shower hose in 1617 was damaged and hadn't been repaired, and the overall water pressure was low. 5. Be cautious about choosing room 1617. It's right next to the housekeeping linen closet, and I could hear the cleaning staff opening and closing doors and tidying up in the morning, which also indicates that the soundproofing of the door is a bit poor. Despite these points, I feel that the overall issues were minor, and my stay was still enjoyable.

LLingjiujiuWe stayed at the Penguin Hotel with our oldest child before, and now with two kids, we still chose the Penguin. It's the most convenient for getting into Ocean Kingdom, and there's a shuttle to Spaceship Theme Park right at the entrance. The hotel service is absolutely top-notch; every staff member we met was warm and friendly. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time. I have two suggestions: 1. The bathroom floor is a bit sticky, probably to prevent slips when wet. However, I'd suggest mopping it with water when guests are out exploring. 2. The hotel is quite large, and this time we stayed further inside, which meant a long walk to the elevator. It would be perfect if they could add another elevator closer to that side. Overall, the Penguin Hotel significantly enhanced our trip and is highly recommended.

SSuosuolanqiesuiyiFacilities: What attracted me to this hotel was its pet-friendly nature, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. Upon check-in, a pet-friendly gift bag contained some useful items, and the cleaning staff were incredibly attentive and helpful in cleaning up any messes our dog made. Service: When we first placed the order, we discovered that our room type didn't have a TV. Later, when the butler confirmed the booking, I mentioned that we were traveling with children and that the kids would enjoy watching movies in the evenings. The butler assured us they would do their best to arrange a TV, and they did indeed arrange it for us upon check-in – a pleasant surprise! Also, when we checked out, we forgot some items, and the butler collected everything and contacted us via WeChat to confirm if we needed them mailed back. It was truly a thoughtful, attentive, and warm service experience. Highly recommended! 👍 Cleanliness: The room was clean, and the air purifier prevented any unpleasant odors. One area for improvement was the shower water pressure, which was a bit too gentle. A stronger water pressure would have made the showering experience much better. 😄 As a family of five with furry friends, we would definitely come back for a second visit. The Ayana community is indeed a great place to relax and unwind.

GGuest UserThis has to be the best value-for-money five-star hotel in Guangzhou, it's absolutely fantastic! It's incredible that I could stay at an InterContinental property in a first-tier city for just a few hundred yuan during New Year's Day. Many of the negative reviews online are probably from people with overly high expectations. And for out-of-town visitors, it is indeed a bit out of the way; aside from the hotel, there isn't a single other dining option on the island, and even a convenience store requires a 1km walk. However, for a pure relaxation getaway, this place is truly amazing! 👍 The front desk even upgraded me to a suite, which was a fantastic perk! 👍 The breakfast offers a wide variety, and it was a pleasant surprise to see them offering pig trotters in ginger and vinegar for the first time, haha. The lobby is huge, but it's a bit funny that there isn't even a single sofa. The room's hardware is excellent. At night, you have a direct view of Zhujiang New Town, with the Canton Tower practically within reach, just across the river. The vibrancy and tranquility coexist without disturbing each other; I truly enjoyed this peaceful oasis in the midst of the bustling city. The toilet is smart but doesn't have a heating function, which I found a bit puzzling 🥲. The room is very spacious, but some corners show significant wear and tear, perhaps indicating it's a bit older? Overall, this was an incredibly good value experience, highly recommended!

MM39241****Service: I absolutely have to highlight this! If you're big on hotel service, you can't go wrong with this place. We arrived quite early after flying from Nanjing to Shenzhen, and there was a huge temperature difference. The staff were incredibly patient, helped us with our room, and even proactively asked if we needed a place to change clothes. Ms. Nancy was so gentle and patient during check-in, and her handwritten welcome card really touched me. The local tourist map she provided was also super useful. Plus, the duty manager at the front desk that day was very helpful, sharing insights about the nearby commercial areas – truly excellent! Ambiance: The hotel's location is fantastic, right opposite the Futian Exhibition Center. You don't have to worry about food, drinks, or entertainment, as everything is easily accessible. Getting around is convenient, and there's even a border crossing nearby for trips to Hong Kong. Facilities: Four Seasons is a relatively well-established hotel in Shenzhen. After staying at one in Hong Kong, I was curious to experience their mainland China offering. It has everything you'd expect, and it all works perfectly. I was very satisfied. Especially noteworthy is the bathroom floor – it's anti-slip but not abrasive, so no need for a bath mat, and the drainage is incredibly fast. It's the best experience and most functional bathroom I've encountered in a hotel so far (my focus points might be a bit odd, I know!). My two stays at Four Seasons have truly won me over. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! This trip to Shenzhen was delightful and comfortable.

GGuest UserMy overall stay at the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou was very satisfying. The hotel's location is convenient, not far from Guangzhou East Station, though there aren't many tourist attractions nearby. It's more suited for travelers who prioritize the accommodation experience itself. The room design is unique, with thoughtful details evident everywhere. Providing Andean mineral water added a touch of 'light luxury' to the experience. The service was meticulous and attentive from the moment I arrived, with the reception, front desk, and room service all being very considerate. What surprised me most was the mattress – as someone with back pain, it was easily the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel, perfectly firm yet soft, ensuring a stress-free night's sleep. The outdoor swimming pool had crystal-clear water with no strong chlorine smell. Osmanthus trees surrounded it, filling the air with a pleasant fragrance while I swam. The water temperature was maintained at around 27℃, making it comfortable to swim even in winter. Breakfast offered a rich selection in a semi-buffet style. The à la carte shrimp dumplings and Eggs Benedict were decent but didn't particularly stand out. However, the honey cake was a delightful surprise – very fragrant and perfectly sweet, definitely worth trying. For someone who values sleep quality, quietness, and attentive service, this is an excellent choice.
