Вот A pleasant stay with a few areas for improvement As expected, the JW Marriott Zhengzhou lived up to the high standards of the Marriott brand. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. One of the highlights is definitely the building itself. The hotel is located in an impressive skyscraper, and the views, especially in the evening, are absolutely beautiful. Staying on the 52nd floor was a memorable experience. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well designed, with a proper work desk, which I appreciated. The staff were friendly and professional. I would especially like to thank the housekeeping team, who did an excellent job throughout my stay. The breakfast was another highlight. There was a great variety of food, and the quality was excellent. There were, however, a few things that could be improved. The biggest disappointment was the area immediately surrounding the hotel. If you arrive by car, everything seems perfectly fine. However, I enjoy exploring new cities on foot, and walking from the hotel was not a pleasant experience. The area around the entrance is filled with parked scooters, motorcycles, and cars, with concrete barriers everywhere. In almost every direction you walk, you first encounter parking areas, trash bins, and an untidy streetscape. It feels as though the pedestrian experience was not considered when the area was designed. It's a pity, because the hotel itself is excellent, but the surroundings don't match its quality. Another issue was a noticeable damp or musty smell in my room. I didn't see any mold, but there was a persistent humidity-related odor. One small observation: the elevators are incredibly fast because the hotel occupies such a tall building. If you're sensitive to changes in altitude or pressure, you may notice some discomfort while riding them. Finally, although the breakfast itself was excellent, the restaurant staff spoke very little English. Even asking for a spoon or fork was surprisingly difficult. Overall, I still enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel for its spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, beautiful views, and professional service. With a few improvements, especially regarding the surroundings and communication in the restaurant, it could be an even better experience.

The room was clean and the bathroom facilities were well-equipped. It was relatively quiet in the evenings. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and it's also very close to the Tianbing Cold Drink Factory store. After we used up the two complimentary bottles of water on the first night, the staff proactively replenished an extra bottle the next day. Excellent service!

The overall environment is pretty good, and the breakfast at 68 is reasonably priced. The room had water and 4 complimentary drinks. The room itself was quite nice, and the staff were friendly. However, because the hotel is so large, finding the elevators was confusing. The map provided wasn't very clear. There should be more recognizable signs on the walls indicating room numbers and elevator directions. A concerning incident was when I couldn't find an elevator after walking around for a long time, so I decided to take the stairs down. To my surprise, the door on the first floor was locked. I had to go back up to the second floor to find an elevator. For safety, how can the bottom door of a fire escape be locked?

The Le Méridien Zhengzhou's room design boasts a fantastic ambiance, blending modern minimalist style with local cultural elements, and featuring sophisticated and elegant color schemes. The room layout is well-planned, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering excellent natural light. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and exquisite. The lighting and soft furnishings showcase great attention to detail and quality, making for a truly relaxing stay. Vivian's service was gentle and attentive; she meticulously explained the clever design of the room type, was always responsive to requests, and remained warm and thorough throughout. Combining aesthetic appeal with thoughtful service, this stay was exceptionally satisfying.

We chose the cave room, which was clean overall, and the courtyard had a lovely ambiance. We checked in quite late after dinner, but the service was still very attentive. The front desk staff were excellent during check-in, and the room package was a great deal. It included breakfast and hot spring tickets for our family of three, and even came with many snacks and fruits. However, when we went to the hot spring area, it was crowded and chaotic with no order. When I took my daughter to change into her swimsuit, a woman brought a seven or eight-year-old boy to change clothes right next to us? Wow, it's really sad for a child to lose their father so young. We waited for them to leave before changing. There were separate changing rooms nearby, but they insisted on changing in the middle of a crowd. They didn't find it gross themselves, but they made others uncomfortable.

To be honest, Luoyang International completely exceeded my expectations. It truly deserves its five-star rating, from the service to the hardware facilities. I'm so glad I decided to upgrade to an executive room upon arrival; the experience was absolutely fantastic. Every single staff member at the lounge was incredibly kind! I honestly found the lounge food to be delicious! Happy hour consists of a self-serve buffet and à la carte main courses. That hot and sour Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles, in particular, was amazing!!! So, so good! I ate it two days in a row. However, I did find the afternoon tea mini cakes to be a bit average and not quite to my taste. Cocktail hour in the evening was also a big hit. The bartender, Ethan, was exceptionally friendly and kind! His name is Ethan, and he's really a wonderful person! The cocktails he made were perfectly to my liking. He even mentioned he taught himself how to make Mojitos, haha! And he kept saying he wasn't confident in his bartending skills! But I thought they were delicious! Truly, really delicious!!! No exaggeration, seriously. Every single staff member in the lounge was absolutely wonderful! I've had such a fantastic time these past few days! If I had to mention any downsides: Firstly, the fried food issue. The fried items at breakfast were soggy. I tried the hash browns again on the second day, and I wondered why they seemed so crispy – turns out they were completely dried out! And the whole batch in that warmer was dry. I think the hotel's heat lamps could use some adjustment; it felt like there was no heat under them whenever I went to get food, which might affect how fried items are kept. This was also an issue with the fried items in the lounge – very soggy. Secondly, the hotel doormen. I feel like this was a bit hit-or-miss. On our first day, when we arrived, there was a doorman at the entrance, and we were the only car there, but he was on his phone. He was a young man with glasses. I'm not sure if he was dealing with work or something else. We had to call out to him when we couldn't manage our luggage anymore before he came to help us. The second night we returned to the hotel, there was no one to greet the car or assist. However, on our checkout day and the young man who helped us change rooms were both exceptionally good! He seemed to be an intern and was incredibly proactive and diligent in everything he did! Many thanks to this young man! I regret not catching his name. The cleaning lady was also excellent. Thank you to every staff member at the hotel! I will definitely choose this hotel again! The service truly impressed me! Especially every staff member in the lounge! A big shout-out to the lounge team! Thank you all! I had a wonderful time in the lounge these past few nights!

Stayed in Family Room this time. Been stayed in many high-end hotels in many countries, the level of services of Pury is impeccable. Picked up at the train station, the friendly driver even taught us how to speak in Luoyang accent! Special thanks to Mr Han, Ms Zhang(Karen) and the ladies who made our room everyday, you made our stay a wonderful experience. Warm, detailed helps and at home feeling. We will definitely come back when we visit Luoyang again!

Summary: This hotel was chosen blindly. Aside from its good location and friendly staff, all other facilities were subpar. Pros: The location was decent, close to several attractions and surrounded by cosmetic shops. While the view from the window wasn't great, the room was relatively large. Cons: The soundproofing was terrible. I could hear the TV and conversations from next door; it was extremely poorly soundproofed. I was also unlucky; the first night, a bunch of inconsiderate people next door played cards all night, making it feel like I was sleeping in a card room, which meant I didn't sleep a wink. Also, the shower in the room had very low water pressure and weak flow, making it impossible to wash my hair. It was repaired once but never fixed. For a hotel with a bathhouse, the shower facilities were extremely inadequate. I originally booked for three nights, but after two nights, I couldn't stand it anymore and switched hotels.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's just a 10-minute walk from Zhengzhou East Railway Station's west exit – super close! Getting to the city center by taxi or subway is also a breeze. You can even walk around the station to the original Mixue Bingcheng store, though I heard the queue is notoriously long, so I skipped it. I also heard that Pang Dong Lai will be opening next door in October. I happened to be here during Zhou Shen's concert, so rooms were hard to come by! The room itself was large and clean, and 'Xiao Ka' at reception was very friendly and provided excellent service. If I get the chance to visit Zhengzhou again, I'll definitely choose to stay here.

Traveling to Zhengzhou alone, I chose this long-standing Hilton in Zhengdong New District. To be honest, the hotel has been open for quite a few years, and the decor and facilities definitely show their age. They're not very trendy, and I didn't get the 'luxury' impact I was expecting. So why still give a good review? Because of the people. I absolutely must give a shout-out to every staff member in the concierge department. They helped me out numerous times: from bringing and setting up a projector to delivering my takeaways multiple times, never showing an ounce of impatience. When I needed a wake-up call late at night, they responded quickly after I contacted them and ensured it was on time the next day. That reassuring feeling of 'every request is answered' was the only moment during this stay that made me feel, 'this truly is a Hilton.' Also, the swimming pool attendant was incredibly thoughtful, frequently asking if I needed a towel, and being as considerate as an old friend. The F&B department also did their best to answer my questions and help with my requests. Ultimately, the core of a hotel is its people. It's quite rare to find such a dedicated team who genuinely care for guests, especially when the hardware is clearly outdated. If you also value being treated with care, this hotel might not amaze you, but its people will make you feel warm. I hope the hotel management sees this review and properly rewards every hardworking employee I mentioned above; they deserve it.
