Hotel near Jiaoxi Station Area/Jiaoxi Hot Spring,Yilan 33.3% of visitors choose this area

I was looking for a hotel in Jiaoxi where the in-room bath also had hot spring water, and this place fit the bill. The location is within walking distance of the train station and bus terminal, but since I had luggage, I took a bus from the terminal. It's right on a main bus road with a bus stop nearby, which was very convenient, and the hot spring park is directly in front, which was also a plus. Our room was a twin, but it had a sofa that could convert into an extra bed, and the space was ample. The bathroom had a bathtub with a window overlooking the outside, making it feel like an open-air bath. We didn't opt for breakfast, but there are plenty of eateries and restaurants nearby, so finding food was never an issue. There's a popular pastry shop nearby that always has a queue; their pannacotta roll cake was absolutely delicious and highly recommended!

The slow-living spa facilities are absolutely fantastic! You barely need to bring anything. Just grab a towel at the front desk, and inside there are slippers for you to change into. For showering, they provide not only body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, but even makeup remover and facial cleanser. In the vanity area, you'll find combs, cotton swabs, hair ties, and body lotion. There are five main hot spring pools, each with a different theme, plus a fish spa pool where little fish nibble at your feet. Indoors, there's a cold plunge pool, a steam room, and a sauna. A great feature is that both the steam room and sauna are separated by gender. They also offer complimentary iced smoothies, cold drinks, barley tea, and hot ginger tea. The hot ginger tea is sweet and delicious!

The room was spacious but a bit dated, with a damaged bathroom door and a lack of furniture in an otherwise empty space. The public spa area was quite small. However, it was still a decent stay for a weekday, and the price was reasonable for Taiwan. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the items available were perfectly acceptable. I'd definitely consider staying here again when I'm back in Jiaoxi.

The quality of Naluwan Group is indeed guaranteed, with a comfortable environment and good service. The only drawback is that there are too few places to eat nearby, but because there are fewer businesses, it has a quietness that other hotels don't have, so it is recommended for travelers who don't like noisy places.

The service was very attentive. Although it's an established establishment, it's still very well maintained. The bathtub is very large, and the hot water is plentiful and comes quickly, making for a very comfortable shower. The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. I recommend staying here.

The hotel's services and the attitude of the service staff are very good. I look forward to staying here again next time. The only drawback is that guests cannot park their rented motorcycles next to the first floor of the hotel. They need to park in the motorcycle parking space opposite the hotel. The key point is that there is also the Nanhai Visitor Center opposite the hotel, so it is difficult to find a motorcycle parking space, which is not very friendly to guests.

The room and bathtub were both very spacious, and the environment was clean and tidy. There's parking available for both cars and scooters. Staying on the 8th floor, the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows would probably be beautiful on a clear day, allowing you to enjoy the scenery right from bed. It's just a shame it was rainy when I visited. Overall, it was a great experience! I didn't hear any noise from other rooms or the sound of water running, so the soundproofing is excellent!

Great for family with kids, night market are walking distance, so does the Tree House! Hotel itself has indoor playground and outdoor sand pit, and rock climbing facilities! From Gaoxiong it is easy ride , 39 mins express train and 23-25 mins uber ride!! Easy kill a 2 days there with easy access from a Gaoxiong!Small more layback vibe , and with all the historical ruins!Defiantly worth to check out! Front desk gets over crowed if you end up with big group check in or out ! Our family had a great time,we had the 1 hour cruise trip,Anping old street, night market, and fort in our belt in our 2 days stay, and lots of rock climbing and sand pit, indoor pit ball!!

We stayed at this hotel for whale watching and surprisingly it was awesome! The room is comfortable and clean. The service attitude is good! You can rent a motorcycle at the hotel and ride it to the night market. I recommend this hotel to everyone who comes to Hualien~ If I come to Hualien next time, I will come back to stay at this hotel with a high cost performance!

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, and the overall setup was excellent. After staying here, I'm already thinking about coming back when I have the chance. The hot spring pool is large, and the water pressure is strong. Given yesterday's low temperatures, it was a big plus that I didn't have to wait long to enjoy the hot spring. The hotel's location is also great; it's very convenient for ordering takeout if you don't feel like going out. 🥰 Highly recommend! Finally, today's breakfast had a wide variety of options, I only managed to try some of them, so I'll have to complete the experience next time. It was delicious, and you can even eat until 1:30 PM! 🥳

DdkworksThe only good thing this hotel offers you is a stunning view of the Kaihsiung skyline, however cleanliness and staff could be improved. The hotel says it is a 5 star hotel, but in fact it only offers 3 star experience; hotel staff looks not welcoming, the rooms are quite outdated, the aircon cannot be switched for heat - it was super cold in the room and they turn the aircon for you before you check in - why? It is 15 degrees outside, why your aircon is at freezing mode?

GGuest User1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Thank you for your attention.

CCaleb CreasonHotel is quite nice, staff was very friendly and room as clean and equipped nicely. Breakfast was expansive with a good selection for everyone. The location is within walking distance to many things. We took a nice walk to the science park area and visited one of the local temples. There is also a nice speakeasy bar within 10 min walk (kind of hidden past the starbucks up the hill). I would definitely recommend this hotel to business visitors or tourists as well.

GGuest UserAmanda Hotel is a very special hotel. Although it is a small hotel, there is a lift that is very convenient for the guests with the elderly. We stayed at the Rose suite that continues 2 bedrooms. The hotel also provides the Aladdin costume for renting to the hotel guests during the stay. The indoor swimming pool &the games in the game room are all complimentary. This is a highly recommended hotel in Kenting.

AAlbert YC”Loved the vibe of this hotel! 😍 The design is super modern—especially the bathroom with the marble vanity and high-tech bidet (always a win!). The bedroom had cool artistic touches like the Ximen Red House print and unique metal wall art. The mood lighting made it feel super relaxing after a long day. Clean, stylish, and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!”

Mmimi0513Let's start with the positives: The doorman, lobby manager, and front desk staff were all very professional, living up to the reputation of a renowned international hotel. The room was spacious, bright, and clean. Now for the negatives: It lacks grandeur. The lobby entrance is too narrow, making it feel like a busy market when crowded. The facilities are mediocre. The bidet toilet was installed too high; even at 172cm, my feet couldn't touch the ground when seated. The TV was incredibly small, disproportionate to the room size. The most frustrating issue was the poor soundproofing. The guests next door in room 1225 were speaking English, and perhaps they couldn't control their volume, but I could hear their conversations clearly, which was very loud and disturbing. This was extremely disappointing. Due to construction, the Ferris wheel was almost completely obscured. This isn't the hotel's fault, but rather an objective circumstance.

GGuest User👍 Great location, just a 3-5 minute walk to the MRT station. Within 500 meters, there are several convenience stores like Carrefour, FamilyMart, and 7-Eleven. The morning market is about an 8-minute walk away. In front of the hotel is Beitou Park, and the Hot Spring Museum is nearby. There are also plenty of dining options, including fast food like McDonald's, Starbucks, KFC, and Mos Burger. For getting around, you can take the MRT north to Tamsui and even catch a ferry to Bali. Heading south, you can reach Tianmu and Shilin. If you're in a hurry, a taxi to Taipei Main Station costs around NT$420-470. Getting to the airport is also convenient, with the express train taking about 40 minutes (from Taipei Main Station) and costing NT$160 per trip. Highly recommend this as a top choice for first-timers visiting the Beitou hot spring area.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, from the elevator to the front desk, and we were offered welcome drinks. The location is excellent – it's within easy walking distance to Taymall, which is super convenient. Parking is available, the breakfast was good, and it's close to the airport.
