Top rated hotels in Aswan Governorate

Basma Hotel Aswan
3.4/571 Reviews
I really loved this hotel. The view from my room (5th floor) over Aswan, the cataract, Elephantine Island, Aga Khan monument, was breathtaking. As the hotel is on a hill, I cannot imagine any other hotel offering views like that. The rooms are very clean, though a bit dated, and large, with a balcony. Very generous outdoor grounds, nice swimming pool and a perfect breakfast buffet. Nice little shopping center with very good prices for souvenirs. All in all - a hotel I would like to return to.
Nubian Palace
4.6/534 Reviews
The choice of accommodation in Aswan was varied, but I wanted to find something special. And it was during my research that the Nubian Palace, in Nubian Village, came up. How wonderful it was to arrive at the hotel, do the check-in while drinking a welcome hibiscus juice, and then find a wonderful room Nubian style. The bedroom, with 2 super comfortable single beds, also had a desk, chair and closet. Outside the bedroom, but within the area corresponding to the bedroom, in a small patio also with a table and chairs, was the private bathroom with shower. On the first morning, because I had a trip to Abu Simbel that started at dawn, the hotel prepared some breakfast boxes that were very useful. Furthermore, all the meals (open air) I had there were very good and in large quantity. Last but not least… The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly and efficient. They contributed to making this experience at the Nubian Palace a very successful one, which means that I definitely want to return there again in the future.
Benben by Dhara Hotels - Adults Only
4.2/541 Reviews
It is necessary to book Ben Ben's boat 30 minutes in advance to arrive at the hotel! Pay special attention! The whole service is very good. There is a welcome drink and they will help you carry your luggage in the room. The overall service is perfect. It's just that if you want to call and ask for something, you have to wait for a while! Their dinner meals are delicious! Very relaxing and highly recommended!
Pyramisa Island Hotel Aswan
3.4/588 Reviews
I arrived from Luxor after staying at the Luxor Pyramisa Hotel and I have to say this place is sooooo much better!! Not just the location or the size of this place but the most important thing was that all members of staff are really friendly, welcoming and always smiling, greeting you when you walk past. A few members stood out very well to me, who are Carlos & Christine from guest relations, who are really friendly and made sure that I had everything I needed and my stay was pleasant. They also sent a complimentary drink to the pool when they saw i was taking a swim. I think these guys definitely deserve a reward!! Mostafa and Ahmed from the taxi/souvenir shop booked a few taxis with them and also an excursion to the Nubial village. Good prices and the taxi were always on time and waiting for me. Finally, I can't forget Faisal, the lifeguard/swimming pool guy. Very friendly, and as soon as he knew I couldn't swim that well, I decided to give me a couple of hours of lessons! a shame. I only went to the pool once on my last day at the hotel. But in general all staff are great but these guys are the ones who I spoke with on a daily basis while staying at the hotel. The hotel, in general, is kept in immaculate condition. The gardens are nice and green and perfect for an evening walk. It's on an island, so no one to haggle you outside and the crossing is free, runs 24hrs, every 20/30mins. Rooms are a bit old but you have to remember we are not in New York or London and in fact very south of the country where its remote and for the price its a good deal!! Views are good, and sunset and sunrise while crossing on the boat to mainland is a view for sure!! I had half board so that was breakfast and dinner on a buffet service. Good selection of hot and cold food at both times. Can't say anything bad. Drinks are extra and the fresh juices are great! Will definitely be staying here again for a longer time when I visit next time!!

Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan
4.8/5151 Reviews
Magical property in magical land. Extremely professional and accommodating staff and service. The ground floor spa equally impressive where I enjoyed full body massage on consecutive days. One small issue with thermostat was dealt with promptly and to full satisfaction. I don’t believe you can improve upon The Old Cataract in any stay in Aswan..
Tolip Aswan Hotel
4/549 Reviews
This time I stayed at the local Tolip Hotel in Aswan. Tolip is also a local hotel chain brand in Egypt, with branches not only in Aswan, but also in Cairo and Alexandria. From the introduction, this hotel is already a relatively new five-star hotel in Egypt. In terms of hardware facilities, it is indeed worthy of the name of a five-star hotel, including swimming pools, gyms, and restaurants. The average stay price is about 700 yuan. Although in terms of room hardware, this hotel is far from the domestic five-stars, but in a city like Aswan with a black hole of shops, it is not bad to have such a hotel choice. Therefore, there are only two branches of Accor in this city that can be considered as international five-star chains, and the others are all domestic chains. Since the Nile River cruise between Aswan and Luxor is so famous, and most of the itineraries are four days and three nights or three days and two nights, many guests who come to Aswan choose Lived directly on the cruise ship. The next day we arrived at Abu Simbel early in the morning and went out to play. After returning in the afternoon, the cruise ship set sail directly. It should be noted that because this hotel was opened relatively recently, its location is relatively far from the core area of the city. It is remote in the city, but fortunately it is convenient to reach the city along the Nile River.
Citymax Hotel Aswan

This hotel is located in downtown Aswan close to everything. We were in one of their suite rooms that had 2 rooms inside with a bathroom with a huge jacuzzi. The staff was friendly. Check in was easy and the breakfast was excellent. We had the amazing view of the nile river and the city. Will surely stay here again when we come to Aswan
The Zen Wellness Resort
4/58 Reviews
The scenery and environment of the hotel are very good, and the facilities are complete. There are few people staying in the hotel when it first opened. You can have the entire villa to yourself. The time and distance to and from Abu Simbel are the same as those in the old city, so it is suitable for vacation.
