I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Luton Airport and had a generally positive experience. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, especially for early morning flights, as it is just a short walk or shuttle ride from the terminal. The rooms were clean, modern, and well-maintained, with a particularly comfortable bed that ensured a good night’s sleep before an early flight. Additionally, the staff were welcoming and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth and assisting with any queries. The on-site restaurant offers a decent variety of meals, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful with a good range of options. Room service was prompt, and the food quality was satisfactory. The hotel also provides good amenities, including a fitness centre, free Wi-Fi, and business services, with ample parking for those driving in. However, being close to the airport does bring some inevitable noise from the planes. While the windows are soundproofed, light sleepers might still notice it. While the convenience is a huge plus, the rates can be on the higher side compared to other nearby accommodations, so it's worth booking in advance to secure a better deal. The immediate area around the hotel is quite utilitarian, with few attractions or dining options outside the hotel itself. Nevertheless, the Holiday Inn Luton Airport is a solid choice for those prioritising convenience and comfort before or after a flight. The staff’s hospitality and the hotel’s amenities make it a pleasant stay despite some minor drawbacks.

Excellent service and staff are friendly approachable , clean room and bedding good hot breakfast for vegetarians with choice of fruit juice and bread ,hot drinks tea and coffee excellent

I’ve stayed here so many nights over the last 11 years back from when it was first built and was the Ramada. As I stay so much I cannot fault the staff that I see in the day time, Arianna, Amy, Laura, and all the reception staff are lovely, very good at their jobs and are the only plus to this hotel. Standard of hotel outside the staff forget it. Tonight I’ve checked in, come to my room and they normally have single use plastic cups in the bathroom for some water overnight sealed in a foil, turns out tonight they have washed and reused old cups, I’m in an executive room where we used to get a bottle of water and a snack bar, nothing anymore. This was the only ihg hotel I knew of that didn’t offer spire or platinum members a snack with their welcome amenity for years, cheap skates, the whole hotel is run as cheap as possible. My conclusion is this hotel is run by profit hungry people who don’t care about service. As I say I stay here a lot and I really feel that some of the staff are great, they could do so much better than working in this hotel where the management just want to make quick money. An embarrassment to the ihg brand. I still have to stay here as it’s the local hotel to my work, but the management all need sacking and the whole thing starting again from the management up.

Very helpful friendly reception staff , we couldn’t get in the main restaurant so they called “The willows “ which was on the same site to make sure we could get food there and also watch the football which was what interested my son. Room was lovely, clean, comfy huge bed and lovely powerful shower in the bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was buffet, constantly topped up with fresh food. Lovely quiet setting would definitely come back but would make sure we arrived in time to use the pool.

Close proximity to the airport got the room for 1 night very good price other hotels next to that where more expensive room was nice and cozy friendly stuff very quiet room included was breakfast full English so was satisfying

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel. We were a family of 3 and shared a room. The staff were very welcoming and efficient on the front desk when we checked in. Once in the room we were very pleasantly surprised to see how good the pull out bed was for my eldest son. In fact it was a double sofa bed. It was very sturdy and had a very decent mattress on it ( unlike other top rated hotels we have stayed at ). The room was clean and had everything you might need , including iron and ironing board as standard. Breakfast was a tasty affair and staff were constantly replenishing items as they ran down. All staff very friendly and overall a great stay for a super price. Will definitely stay here again when we are visiting family again.

This hotel is a hidden gem. We booked as it was a 20 minute walk to Luton's football pitch to watch an away game. The hotel is super modern inside, with extremely comfortable rooms that contain all mod cons, air con as well as free wifi. You have a coffee machine and fridge in your room as well as an excellent double power shower with hair dryers provided. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff are extremely helpful. Breakfast was Buffett style but very good quality full English and basic continental offering, lots of fresh tea, coffee and juices.They do have a secure parking site to the righthand side of the entrance which is £15 for 24 hours. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the town center which has a good size shopping mall and lots of shops. There is also a weatherspoons close by and lots of eateries. It is minutes from the cinema, tem pin bowling, trampolining to name but a few. The train station is also close by where you can get a fast train to London in 25 minutes. Perfect stay!

The rooms and bathrooms are basic and at best functional. The carpets in the corridors are rucked up and serious trip hazards; the fire doors have holes in them where handles have been changed (what sort of fire door is that?). You get the gist... They are understaffed - we had to wander around the building trying to find someone to serve us at the bar on our first night. On the second night, there were just 2 young and inexperienced staff behind the bar despite there being a function for over 100 people. The wait was ridiculous, the staff didn't know their red wines from their white, and the drinks were overpriced - £1.70 for a dash of blackcurrant, £6.50 for a pint of beer! As for security, it's a joke. On returning to our room one evening we found that the cleaner had opened the window and left it wide open all day - and I mean WIDE open. Bearing in mind the room was on the ground floor, anyone could have climbed in and helped themselves to our belongings. The whole experience is one I would not choose to repeat. I have just tried to fill in the customer experience questionnaire, which Wyboston Lakes emailed a link for - but guess what... the link doesn't work! That sums up Wyboston Lakes and the Willows.

I really enjoyed staying here with my work, I have stayed before but since the renovations the hotel really is beautiful now. I used the restaurant too and the food was great, the setting peaceful and the staff very good. I was served by someone called Candice (I think that was her name who was excellent). I have attached some photos of the food. Also if you’re away with work and also a cyclist, try and take your bike too as there are some lovely early morning river paths to cycle which start just outside the hotel. Perfect!

My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The Wernher Restaurant breakfast was a highlight, served in a grand dining room with impeccable service. The food was delicious with a wide range of options, from fresh pastries to a perfectly cooked full English. The beautiful estate and excellent facilities made for a relaxing and luxurious stay. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely grand hotel with high ceilings, antique furniture and gardens. We had a package deal of 3 course dinner, bed and breakfast, with entry to Bletchley Park included. Food was generous and good, room was large and bed comfortable, staff were helpful and friendly. Bletchley Park was so interesting and tickets are for multiple entries over the year. What more can I say? Oh yes, free on site parking.

A great place for a weekend break. 13 of us had the most wonderful time and nothing was to much trouble. Located right by the river, sitting on the terrace watching the swans and the boats gently float by was most relaxing. Best thing about the Kingfisher was the level of service we received. We all thought the staff were outstanding. All working together as a team, our comfort was their main concern. From the check in at a very friendly reception all the way through to the bar and restaurant staff, everyone was extremely friendly and happy to help no matter what the question. The rooms are spacious and well equipped for the length of stay. very clean, nice large bed good size TV and tea & coffee making facilities. We had a view of the car park, I am sure that nicer views are available. Restaurant food was very good, we ate their both nights. Very large portions and all cooked very well. A well stocked bar with a very impressive draft beer selection. If I was to complain about anything, I would suggest that the availability of a decent cup of coffee at breakfast was an issue. With only instant available during our stay, if you are a coffee snob, you will be disappointed. There was a wedding party Saturday night and some of the guests were very noisy leaving the party at gone midnight, but that was not the Kingfishers fault. Would I recommend this location - absolutely I would.
