Our stay was really good as I was worried being a holiday Inn , but how wrong was it supassed all my expectations from the quality of food to the amenities to the welcoming of the staff when you walk through the door. Would I stay here again? Definitely we had the best weekend using the spa facilities the Marco Perry restaurant and all the other amenities that were available. It was a Very pleasant stay and we were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were really lovely. We got free upgrade when we arrived which was a lovely thing as it was my birthday. They're just really lovely. The beds were comfortable. There were extra pillows if you needed them as well .
The only thing is you have to pay for your parking there which was quite expensive. £24, but you know apart from that everything else was really lovely and we really enjoyed our weekend. The swimming pool , Sauna jacuzzi, and steam room was great way to spend our last afternoon and all free , they also provided you with towels . The breakfast was lovely lots of choice and there is a Marco Perrie restaurant on site , but there was also another menu if you wanted something more simpler to eat to sit around the bar area .

I booked a last minute night away with the children: afternoon tea followed by an overnight. The afternoon tea was delicious and I was really well catered for as a vegan diner. The Grand Hall was a beautiful setting for afternoon tea. The children also loved their food - the sandwiches were much simpler for the children and they got seconds based on how delicious they were. Our room was large and had a sofa bed and a cot bed. We enjoyed playing in the grounds including the play area, outdoor chess, boules, the scavenger hunt and the fitness trail. My son also loved playing football in the garden - he was excited that there were goals set up. We had dinner in The Fox Bar and had drinks and played cards in the Grand Hall afterwards. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. We were really excited to find newts in the pond. They would love to stay again. I would love to come for an overnight with my partner to experience it differently without the children.

Guest UserRoom was old and shabby, holes in blinds marks and dirt on walls. Room was not clean. I wad told could not move me as they were over booked. Website was still showing rooms available.I asked to speak with manager wad told away till 13th April. I had to feal with reasturant manager.
She advised me she couldn't help, although offered a free meal in reasturant. I was there for two nights. The cleaner had to come back twice, ad thick dust and rubbish behind headboard and under bed.

Lovely modern room. Great wet room. We run out of toilet paper and no other left in room.
Bed was very comfortable. Hairdryer, iron and dressing gown in room.
Hotels fire alarm definitely worked as got woken at 7am to evacuate building. Security were very quick to sort issue, guest had lit candle in one of the rooms.
Used the swimming pool steam room and spa which was free.
Good variety of food at breakfast with good view of surrounding grounds.
Big car park free of charge

Our room was spotless , a comfy bed and a good shower , the pool+ hot room area were really good, but for reference there are 3 (members only) aqua aerobics classes a week which use the whole pool , and whose participants’warm up’ prior to the class -so it’s very busy to the class , there are a great selection of (pre bootable )classes , treatments and a well equipped gym (all obviously open to members ) , the meal options are delicious, and the staff are charming
