I didn't know that the room type I booked was at the other far end of the apartment building. Not only did I feel cast aside due to the distance, but the lobby area didn't look anything like a hotel. I barely saw any hotel staff around until the day I was checking out.
The room was big, but for the most part, it looked dated, particularly the kitchen and the bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with only a bread toaster, a frying pan, a wooden spoon (that really looked like it was time to replace), two glasses, two sets of cutlery, a teapot, and a small creamer pot. There was no electric kettle, not to mention coffee cups. There was no dish towel and again, not to mention kitchen soap. One cooking hob didn't work while the other kept beeping when switched on and stayed cold.
There was a mineral water dispenser, but the water from the hot tap was only 70% hot. You can't make a cup of coffee or tea with water that isn't hot enough.
I didn't have a good experience when making phone calls to book the 3-hour city transportation. I had the same experience on the first morning when I asked about the breakfast that was to be sent to my room. It was set to be delivered at 9 a.m. I made a call at 9:05 a.m. and was told that they would prepare it right away. When delivered, there were a few missing items: fresh milk for my coffee, orange juice, and a teaspoon for the coffee. I had to make a call again to request them. (I had already mentioned to the staff the night before what I would like to have for my breakfast.) On the next day, I made a call at 6 a.m. to request the same type of breakfast to be sent to my room at 9:30 a.m. Hours later, close to 9:30 a.m., I made a call to room service again to inquire if they were sending my breakfast already. My call was passed from one person to another until the third person who spoke to me seemed unaware of my 'order'. By this time, I was very upset. He said he would attend to it right away and have it delivered to my room in ten minutes. By the time it arrived, it was 9:58 a.m. Nonetheless, the chicken porridge on both mornings were absolutely delicious. The Soto Medan which I ordered as a room service was tasty too.
My sleep on both nights was pretty uninterrupted despite the honking from the heavy traffic. On Sunday, after my Fajr prayer at 6-ish, there was music, announcements, etc., from an event downstairs that lasted for three hours.
During checkout, staff was going to hand me 800,000 IDR until I told him that I had only made a deposit of 500,000. It was then I realized the amount written on the deposit receipt; the number 5 looked more like an 8. That must be why he wanted to return a security deposit of 800,000. He was grateful when I told him about the amount I made as a deposit and I told him to give feedback to his colleague about her handwriting (the one who did my check-in was a female staff).
Overall, this hotel was just alright for me. The lobby, front desk, and the staff at these two parts of the hotel were great.
If there were a next time for me, I'd try the hotel side instead of the apartment, but it's likely there won't be a next time here.
I’ve stayed here twice. The rates are cheap, but the rooms are always really clean.
Breakfast options are limited. But it's nicely seasoned.
Strangely, many of the rooms in this hotel have no window.
Could you please use better quality beans for the ground coffee in the morning?
We have glued to this hotel for the last 2 or 3 years😀, everything is good, nothing to complain about. From arrival to check out, all staffs are well trained and functioning well. In this 2026, we have done 2 trips to Medan and stayed here + got the same room as I requested. We are coming back on 20 May and hopefully will get the same room too😊😊
The jacuzzi, steam room and pool are a little worn down but the gym is huge and the spa is nice. The room itself was really comfortable and well-kept. Also, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from DeliPark Mall Medan, which is a huge mall. All in all, I would stay here again if I visit Medan again in the future.
one of the best Indonesian hotel chain that serve the best indonesian culture and cuisines. the room quite nice, the location superb, and the food was great.
This is hotel was rebranded from Radisson to aiho .. still good condition... The checkin process also excellent.. within 5 minutes I can go straight way to my room.. the only problem is they only have 2 elevator.. sometimes in of that not functioning due to maintenance service..
I booked 2 deluxe rooms with queen bed but was given 2 superior rooms with single beds. Reason being they'ee full and no rooms available.
We were moved to deluxe room on second day.
Amenities lacking, insufficient shower gel. No ear buds. Towels worn out.
Rooms lack maintanence. Worn out and tired. Bwd sheet with stains
The only upside is the location and a few friendly staffs.
Actually, this hotel is still in the same group as Darma Agung but the facilities are different. Until this hotel is exited because of the environment, the hotel area is spacious. If you stay here for 2 days, you'll be satisfied just exploring the hotel and its surroundings. The hotel location has a lake that can be used for bathing because it is not deep. 7 minutes from the hotel, there is a****ta port, there is a swimming pool. The view from the room directly faces the lake, you can see the fish in the lake... So it's fun for children. In front of the traditional PSR hotel, you can explore looking for typical Lake Toba clothes. Km take superior room B facing the lake for only IDR. 359,000 ... Very worth it 👍, for more details, you can check ig @nurainisribina
Everything was good except the bed. My back is aching cause the bed is too soft it sunken. I was upgraded to super deluxe but then it had no bathtub as what I originally booked. Hence, I get them to change back to my original room category as I purposely booked deluxe queen because of the bathtub.
No hair dryer and the electricity is not stable. No common area for eating my birthday cake or any special for birthday. Needless to say, the television is full of snow flower. Yet, the location is excellent within 40 mins to the international airport.

GGuest UserThe apartment is very spacious, which makes it a great choice, especially for family gatherings. The room was very clean, and the price is very reasonable for the size and value offered.
However, the apartment would benefit from some updates, as the mattresses feel quite soft and old. Replacing the mattresses, pillows, and blaket would significantly improve comfort and make the stay even better.
Overall, this is a good place for families looking for a spacious and affordable stay, and with a few upgrades to the bedding, it would be perfect.
GGuest UserI booked a night staying. I have a morning flight the day after. The room is spacious and clean. The staffs are attentive. The breakfast is served at another building. Shuttle bus service is good and handy. I'd like to stay again this hotel
I booked a one-night stay. My flight is the following morning. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were attentive. Breakfast is served in a separate building. The shuttle bus service is convenient and efficient. I would like to stay at this hotel again.

AAnonymous UserBook a family suite it comes with 2 rooms with a bathroom in each. However the cleanliness is not like what I'm expecting, it was quite dusty. The amenities weren't complete. Normally a hotel/cottage will provide an iron, but this cottage didn't. We have to call and keep asking from the receptionist yet they didn't send it till the next morning. As for the surrounding from outside the cottage looks very nice especially the morning weather, it was cold and it had a nice view around the cottage. You can take as many photos as you want around it before you leave.
