Check in was smooth. Villa was big, love the spacious living room. Unfortunately need to improve on housekeeping cleanliness. There was a standing stack of cigarette ash left on the dining table beside the pool. There was unwashed coffe stain on the rim of the coffee mug, no stirrer was provided for the coffee and tea satchets, not thoughtful. We hardly use the 3rd floor so cant comment. You need to move the furniture yourself if you wanna sit outside on the 3rd flr. Master bedroom was huge, with view of the sea. Toiletrie, dental kits were provided. The toilet door was abit faulty, could not close properly..sigh.. Bathroom wall looked mouldy/ dirty. We were greeted by thunderstorm the next morning, the wait for buggy took more than 15min in the morning--breakfast peak + inclement weather. Water started seeping into the 2nd flr landing during the pour, and water was dripping from the bathroom...itz crazy..fortunately we were checking out that day already.. Cant comment on other facilities as we didnt get to try..will i go again...maybe after their next round of refurbishment.

Good location with many food options nearby. Walking distance to Nagoya Hill Mall. Breakfast is superb, delicious local tastes. The room is clean but lacks amenities, especially hand towels and hairdryers.

Our stay at Natra Bintan was such an amazing experience for us as a couple 🤍 We decided to go on a weekday, and honestly that was the best decision because the whole place felt so peaceful, calm, and private. The atmosphere was very relaxing with beautiful views and a quiet environment perfect for escaping from busy routines and spending quality time together. From the moment we arrived, the service was really good. The staff were all very friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable all the time. Check-in was smooth, the room was clean and cozy, and everything was well prepared for guests. What we loved most was the overall vibe of the resort. It’s not just about the stay, but the feeling you get there slow mornings, relaxing walks, enjoying the lagoon view, and having peaceful moments together without rushing anything. It truly felt like a short healing trip for both of us ✨ Definitely recommended for couples who want a romantic, relaxing, and peaceful getaway. We would love to come back again someday 🤍

Even though the hotel looks a bit dated, it didn't dampen the kids' spirits. The seaside views are beautiful, and the white sand is super fine and clean. At night, you can hear frogs croaking, which the kids absolutely loved.

Impeccably clean. Outstanding service from Ixxora on front desk. All staff keen to please and professional. They actually seem genuinely happy to be there and to welcome you. As of June 2026, MAXONE Batam offers simply the cleanest and most well maintained rooms in the whole of Kepulauan Riau. No question. The only hotel able to compete with the obsessive cleanliness is their next door neighbour 4 star property adjacent! There are new 5 star hotels on the island where the level of maintenance does not meet the standards set by MAXONE Batam. Highly recommended for leisure travellers who DON'T require pool, gym or breakfast included in the price. What you will get is a sense of luxury and commitment to quality and service excellence. Not recommended for longer stays and business travellers due to poor WiFi stability and shortage of work space / work surfaces in the rooms, that are small and a tight squeeze by Indonesia standards.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Outstanding Hospitality from Beginning to End** This was one of the best family holidays we've had. From check-in to departure, every interaction with the staff was sincere and heartfelt. You can tell that everyone genuinely enjoys looking after guests. A special highlight was the spa. My mother enjoyed the 90-minute full spa experience after the reception patiently explained the different packages to help us choose the most suitable treatment. The Chinese-speaking masseuse was exceptional and made the experience incredibly relaxing. Our daughter also had an amazing holiday. She loved Earth Basket, where Kiki made the visit engaging and fun, as well as the watersports, especially her first-ever banana boat ride, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. We also joined the complimentary stargazing sessions on both evenings. Idu and his colleague on one night, and Rusdi and his colleague on the next, shared fascinating knowledge about the moon, stars, navigation and astronomy. It became one of the most memorable activities of our stay. The front desk team, especially Haykal, Feronica and Gian, were always quick to assist us through WhatsApp and in person. Breakfast had an excellent variety every morning, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and immaculately maintained. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Mustika, whose leadership and personal warmth were evident throughout the resort. Seeing him personally come over to bid us farewell before we left for the ferry was a wonderful way to end our stay. The Residence Bintan delivers genuine hospitality in every sense of the word. We would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Bintan and look forward to coming back again.

The staff were the highlight of the stay — consistently polite, humble, and attentive, providing excellent service throughout. Unfortunately, the villa itself was quite run down and appeared to lack proper upkeep and maintenance, which was disappointing given my expectations. There is insufficient power plug for phone / tablet charging. The breakfast spread was decent, with a reasonable variety of options to start the day. Overall, while the service was excellent, the condition of the villa fell short of expectations. Would I return? No.

We recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests. 1. Room Consistency & Communication Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved. 2. Villa Room Maintenance On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression. We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved. Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback.

Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food. The room was soundproof, ensuring a very good night's sleep. The only minor drawback was that the beef and chicken we ordered for lunch were very tough and hard to chew. However, the staff were attentive and provided excellent service, which made our whole family very happy. We would definitely come back again.

The staff's service attitude was exceptional: Whether at the front desk or in the restaurant, the staff consistently maintained genuine smiles, showed great patience, and actively offered assistance, even under the pressure of huge crowds and long queues during peak hours. The staff's excellent attitude was the best part of this stay and is highly commendable to the management! Room amenities and towel quality need improvement: Upon checking into the room, I found there was no hairdryer (when contacting housekeeping for a replacement, the staff member mistakenly thought I wanted to return a broken one, indicating a flaw in their inventory check mechanism). Furthermore, there were obvious stains on the towels requiring replacement, and their texture was stiff, rough, and noticeably old, failing to meet the standards expected of a high-end resort. Breakfast peak hour crowding and tableware hygiene: Due to many guests being from Singapore (a 1-hour time difference), there were long queues for dining at 7:45 AM (8:45 AM Singapore time). We were initially directed to the makeshift Beach Bar area, but it had no air conditioning, flies, and limited food options. We eventually had to return to the main restaurant to queue again. Some cups and plates in the main restaurant felt sticky and greasy to the touch, indicating that washing hygiene control needs to be strengthened. Beach Club dining quality was below expectations: The Buffalo Wings (peach hot wings) ordered at the bar in the evening had a soggy, un-crisp skin, were completely not spicy, and lacked authentic flavor. There is room for improvement in the dining standards. Hotel activity arrangements and facility opening hours: There were relatively few activities available at the hotel. Although free family photography was offered, the staff did not remind me to book during check-in, resulting in all slots being fully booked the next day. On the first day, after returning to the hotel at 9:30 PM from an island tour, the swimming pool was already closed, meaning I couldn't experience any of the hotel's facilities throughout the entire trip. Practical advice for future guests: Avoid peak breakfast hours: It's recommended to go for breakfast before 7:30 AM to avoid the peak period from 7:45 AM to 9:00 AM when Singaporean guests typically wake up. Be proactive in booking activities: Remember to proactively ask the front desk for an activity list during check-in and book popular items like free family photography on the spot. Pay attention to pool closing times: If you have evening plans (e.g., mangrove fireflies tour), you might miss the pool's opening hours upon returning to the hotel. It's advisable to plan ahead.
