This resort hotel is so beautiful. It is convenient to drive here. It is ten minutes away from Matera scenic spot. We were treated to champagne when we checked in. The hotel yard is beautiful, and there is a landscape swimming pool where you can watch the sunset. The room has a small kitchen where you can cook instant noodles. The breakfast is not very good, but it is very exquisite. There are few guests here and it is very quiet.

A very, very rare new hotel in Europe. It is right on the edge of the old town of Matera. There is a Chinese restaurant nearby. The parking was originally charged, but it was confiscated in the end. I don’t know if I heard it wrong or forgot.

The hotel will send a free shuttle bus to the parking lot to pick up guests and luggage, which is very good! The cave room is very special and the bedding facilities are very good. The balcony of the room faces the old town of Matera, which is super beautiful in the morning and evening! The breakfast variety is particularly rich, and there is live piano playing!

Amazing hotel with cave like design, super clean room, the only drawback is we needed to carry the luggage up the hotel as it’s located slightly up the hill, the hotel staff was very helpful to have helped, it was worth the walk.

I recently stayed at the Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel and Spa in Matera, and it was an unforgettable experience. The rooms are carved out of historic caves, offering a unique and enchanting atmosphere that blends modern luxury with ancient charm. The location is perfect, nestled within the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site, providing easy access to the city’s main attractions.
The hotel’s amenities are top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the spa facilities, which include a sauna, hammam, and a heated indoor pool. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met with a smile. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was impeccable, adding to the overall comfort of my stay.
One minor downside was the cost of some extras, which felt a bit high. Additionally, while the cave-themed rooms are stunning, they might not be for everyone due to the unique layout and lighting. Worst experience in staying in independent accommodation. Left in the rain for 1 hour. Tried 18 calls not answered A very unpleasant man turned up and yelled at us in Italian. We felt very intimidated. When we went out we believe someone entered the room and turned off all lights and heating.
Nice room but it’s in an apartment not a hotel like pictures make you believe. Next morning 1/2 hour before check out we returned back and the angry man was waiting for us. Yelling about lights left on. This was a small bathroom light we’d missed when we went for a walk. He virtually threw us out of the hotel. Standing in front of the bedroom window making us very uncomfortable. Very very unpleasant stay.

Hotel extremamente bem localizado. Estrutura excelente, limpo, novo. Poucos quartos o que dá a sensação de exclusividade. Staff educado e gentil.
Antes de chegar tive dúvidas mas, pelo contato de WhatsApp, a Elisabetta muito gentil me ajudou desde explicando onde poderia estacionar meu carro fora do centro histórico. E durante minha estadia me aconselhando onde almoçar ou jantar. Recomendo muito este hotel.

YYingmucaodaoThis hotel is pretty good. It is a resort hotel. When I booked the hotel, I chose a room type with 2 beds, but Trip.com passed to a third party and then to the hotel was a big bed. Because I arrived late, the waiters were off work, but the front desk still very nicely upgraded my room type, arranged a suite, and solved the problem in time, so this hotel is quite good. Room facilities are not bad, clean and tidy, this hotel nearby is definitely recommended.
