I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pullman Kuching Hotel, and it was truly a memorable experience. I chose to celebrate my birthday there, and the team went above and beyond to make it special.
A heartfelt thank you to I-Rene Saw, the Guest Experience Manager, and her wonderful team for their thoughtful arrangements. They beautifully decorated the room, surprised me with a birthday cake, and put us to a newly renovated room. These small yet meaningful gestures made a big difference and created a warm, celebratory atmosphere.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay — the service was attentive, the room was comfortable and modern, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Pullman Kuching Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.
Thank you once again to I-Rene and the team for making my birthday so special!

GGuest UserDamai Lagoon Resort is nestled between the Mountain Santubong and the South China Sea. The resort environment is serene tugged in a tropical rainforest setting. The area provides a tranquil retreat with dense jungles and sandy beaches. The Sarawak Cultural Village is located just a stone’s throw away. It is within 10 minutes walking distance.
We were given all sea-fronting views with one corner rooms on the 3rd floor. We could listen to the waves crashing on the beach during high tide. The spacious space coupled with modern shower amenities and comfortable bedding made our stay an enjoyable experience and we had a relaxing time there. The buffet breakfast served was sumptuous with wide spread of local cuisines.
We enjoyed swimming in the clean infinity pool in a sunset backdrop. There are many indoor games provided for the children. Thus, you will not get bored staying in this resort. The resort entrance is grand and the guest lounge is huge and beautiful overlooking the sea.
The resort staff members are very helpful and friendly. The resort is highly recommended if you want to have a relaxing holiday outside Kuching city.

Highlights:
- Great location
- Breakfast is one of the best
- Big rooms
- Hotel recommends a great driver (Mr Lee)
- Check in very smooth
- Great pool and gym ( also used local so can be a bit busy but equipment very good!)
Tips:
- Bathroom could be cleaned better (some dirt on the wall when we arrived)
- No cosy poolbar (just some convenience)

GGuest UserThis is a classic older hotel. The biggest highlight is definitely the great views and relaxing atmosphere, especially the balcony area which is very comfortable and offers excellent scenery.
We stayed in a triple room. The room itself felt quite old, and the facilities clearly showed their age. As for cleanliness, it was a case of 'looks okay on the surface, but the details are lacking.' For instance, there were some less-than-clean marks on the sheets, and while the towels had clearly been washed, their dark color wasn't ideal. The bathroom's cleanliness was also just average; not overtly dirty, but not meticulously clean either.
Overall, the hotel's strong points are its views and location. However, there's room for improvement regarding the room's hardware and the detailed cleanliness. It's best suited for guests who prioritize scenic views and are less sensitive about the age of the accommodations.

GGuest UserStaff were attentive and friendly, and they even had a Cultural Appreciation Night, sharing about the local culture and tribes. Hotel location were a short 5 mins drive away from Mulu National Park, and the property offers shuttle services. Sometimes you gotta wait a little during peak (noon and evening), and you can call the hotel or get the park security to holler the hotel to come pick you.
Food is great at the hotel, and the rooms are clean. TV reception might be weak as expected cos we are in the near the mountains but everything else is great! Would stay at Marriott again when we visit Mulu in the future!

AAnonymous UserThe cleanliness of the hotel surprised me, every part of the room is clean & comfy. Swimming pool & jacuzzi water were cold, it would be awesome if the jacuzzi water is hot. And in case you need extra pillow, they will make you pay for “renting” it.

The host prepares almost everything for a guest travelling with kids/families. The unit is new and very coz.y.
Easy check in and out. No deposits and the host is very attentive.
