It was my third or fourth stay here and it was great as always! The location on the beach is brilliant, the environment very nice.. rooms big and well equipped.. restaurant on the beach also okay, do not expect super quality meal, more average and overpriced, beer quite expensive (sometimes served hot, not cold).. only one dislike, they always charge +3% when you pay the bill by a card (with their overpriced prices they should have this already included in the price). The overall experience is very good and those minor things which I didn't like.. well, I will survive.
Although the Kasha Hotel is not big overall, there are some, the rooms and infinity pools are very good, the hotel butler is very good, and the price is only 1700 for one night. Sangdao and Seychelles are really cheaper than it is.
The hotel is in good condition and clean. I stayed for one night and wanted to rest after a long trip. I checked in late around 2000hrs and stayed in what looked to be like a new block that was still unfinished. This block did not have power until after 2300hrs. Apart from that, the staff are friendly and restaurant service is good. Only minimal amenities are provided in the room.
Very good hotel. Except for the bad road when driving in, everything else is great. They prepared cakes when they knew it was our birthday and sang happy birthday during dinner. Breakfast and dinner were both good. The car battery was dead when we left on the third morning. The electricity was turned on, and the hotel helped to connect it. Thank you very much!
A very good experience. Whether it is accommodation, facilities or exclusive beach, they are all great. The restaurant is Jua Grill, which is really beyond your imagination. Don't choose Asian restaurants, you need to avoid them. Muyuni beach club does not require reservations for lunch, and the taste is still good. The buffet restaurant has BBQ every Saturday night, which is very unique. The hotel is good overall.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).

Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and satellite programming is available for your entertainment. Bathrooms feature showers with rainfall showerheads and complimentary toiletries.
The rooms are all very old, the plumbing is all bad, the air conditioners are old and sometimes don't work, the staff is constantly doing something outside, rolling their carts with a rumble, and also talking loudly to each other and it is impossible to be in the room or near the pool, since the staff is constantly doing something. There is no peace in the hotel, and all thanks to the staff. They cheat and do not return the deposit for towels! The only plus is the location of the hotel, since it has its own exit to the beach. But when you go out to the beach you are attacked by Masai and other people with excursions! It's a wild hell!

The hotel is located on one of the best beaches in the north of the island, approximately 1.20 hours from the airport. The property was very well maintained and well-maintained. There was security at both the main entrance and the beach area, so I never felt unsafe. The internet worked perfectly throughout the hotel, so I had a signal even on the beach, except for the last day when it didn't work properly for a short while. The room was quite large, as was the bathroom, and everything was in good condition. All the outlets had USB ports and could also connect different types of cables, so there was no need for adapters. They also provided complimentary water every day. Absolutely all the staff, including reception, security, the restaurant, etc., were very friendly throughout.
The breakfast was very complete and lacked nothing. The lunch and dinner menus at the buffet restaurant were generally good as well, with daily variations. It also has an à la carte restaurant where the food was good and reasonably priced. The only negative thing to mention was that there could have been more lounge chairs around the pool, as there was room for more, certainly at least eight or ten. Also, the all-inclusive package had several restrictions, such as excluding premium drinks. However, some drinks shouldn't have been considered premium; brands like Absolut, JB, Bacardi, etc., should be the minimum. Finally, there were a few power outages that lasted no more than a few seconds, but that seemed to be more a problem with the area than the hotel itself, and it didn't cause any major inconveniences either. In short, everything was excellent, with some minor issues that were easily resolved, but if I returned to Zanzibar, I would probably stay at the same hotel.

GGuest UserWe were warmly greeted by the staff at the entrance. I had booked a deluxe room and had arrived early, would have appreciated an early checkin but the room wasn’t ready so meanwhile I explored the resort amenities. It has a private beach with a mini golf area and a bar alongside. The staff is friendly but most of the staff is new, a bit slow but they get you what you need. Maybe that’s how they’re wired, I’m unsure but they were kind.
Pictures don’t do enough justice to this property. It’s massive, beautiful interiors with high end quality products. Loved the spa, felt so rejuvenated and I loved their bathing product line, the shower gels, etc. It’s ace quality. Food was good. They had live performance that got everyone on flood.
It’s one of the best properties I’ve stayed at.

DDave travel expertThis hotel is very nice if you think about the price to quality ratio. People who work there are ok. The hotel is clean and has a nice restaurant inside that serves many dishes. There was music during the day and the cleaning service did a good job. The only thing that is not on is not about the hotel but about the area - when we get out of the hotel many street and beach vendors aggressively approach us. The hotel is ok so you can go there and rest for even a few weeks but the area is dangerous so stay safe in the hotel. Some of the street vendors are so rude that they are going after you from the beach to the hotel main door where the body guard stops him.
YYour Jamaican GirlThe Lux Marijani Zanzibar hotel was a DREAM ✨ The hotel getaway you never knew you needed.
The hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by hospitable staff and amazing refreshments 🍹 The transition to our room was seemless thanks to our wonderful concierge Temba 👏
The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a great view of the hotel’s private beach. It was equipped with a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle and a TV (with YouTube access).
The hotel is perfect for couples and family alike. With an extraordinary food menu from its three restaurants. The hotel offers regular themed buffet meals ( Mexican Night/ BBQ Night) for its guests. It offers meals right around the clock: Breakfast ($35 usd), Lunch ($35 usd) & Dinner ($45 usd). There is also an option to pay from all-inclusive meal packages upon arrival. Special shout out to Chef Desi for his mouthwatering coconut delights, I will miss that the most! 😂
The hotel’s facilities also include a pool 🏊♀️ and a gym 🏋️♀️ (open from 7am-6pm). There are also various daily activities like Marco Polo, table tennis, art class, cooking class and beach volleyball to name a few.
It was overall a great experience staying at the Lux Marijani Zanzibar and I would urge everyone to enjoy this experience on their own. Whether it’s dancing the night away to the music of the live band or just taking a sunset stroll on the beach.
It was truly a life-changing and I highly recommend staying here. You can thank me later❤️❤️❤️
GGuest UserHotel: Beautiful views and nice arquitecture.
On our last day they let us do a free late check out and have dinner and stay at the hotel till 11pm which really shows that the hotel care about their guests.
Food: The food is good. The cliff restaurant is very nice and with good dishes. Buffet is quite diverse and you have the BBQ night which is awesome. Something to improve: desserts.
Service: All the staff is very nice and friendly.
Pools: You have 3/4 different pools with 2 bars which is great to order some drinks.
Room: big rooms and very spacious. Bed sheets, towels and matress are quite old. They need to be changed.
Gym: Needs an improvement. To close it and are some fan/air conditioner. They should add some running and bike equipment.
Beach: Beautiful beach with super crystal water. Something bad is the local people that wants to sell everything at all time. But I guess that is something normal in all Zanzibar.
Score: 8,5/10

GGinge5Tui Blue Bahari is 5*+
There is space, good food, great private beaches, 5 restaurants, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere.
There were more sunbeds than guests when we stayed and towels are available poolside.
There are bars in the garden, by the beach and at the pool, which are all manned with waiters and bar staff who are happy and efficient.
The hotel has security and a private beach and the local tour sellers wait at the beach for you to engage.
If you walk straight into the sea from the resort you'll find starfish, urchins and Dory fish.
The room door we had wouldn't lock with a firm push and a couple times after the cleaners had been it was unlocked.
Overall though 9.5/10
I'd recommend for any special occasion, or for those who want to safari in Tanzania, or swim with dolphins in Mnemba.
AAnonymous UserIf you are choosing a place to enjoy your holidays, getting away from crowd and enjoy peaceful moments, it’s definitely a right place for you.
Hotel staff is very nice and helpful.
Food in hotel restaurant is excellent, they offer different menu for lunch and dinner. Verify options for breakfast buffet, you will never feel bored for their food.
Hotel offers yoga class on the morning daily except Sunday. Family or solo can also start with a “ Good morning “. There is a swimming pool, small gym room, different ball games for visitors to chill.
Hotel is also connected with different Partners, no need to worry about the day trip prior arrival. They can plan everything for you including stone town visit, prison island , snorkelling.
We just enjoy our time during our stay.
