The Marriott Hotel on Canal St was such a convenient location for walking to the major tourist attractionsâŠBourbon Street, St. Louis Cathedral, the Ferries and paddlewheel boats. I enjoyed my stay and the hotel front desk and concierge service was so helpful to ensure that i knew how to get to my destinations. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good location, just on the French street, 5 minutes walk from each red store. The hotel is beautiful and the small indoor garden is perfect for afternoon tea. The local Jumbo soup is also available for free at the hotel lobby, similar to the black pepper seafood soup, which tastes good. At the time of check-in, the front desk asked me if I would upgrade the room type, I agreed, but the upgraded room was charge100 knife in the club room, but the room was small, only half a window, so I decided to change back to the original garden interior room, I think The room is bigger and more comfortable.

While visiting the multiple restaurants/coffee places, I have to say the service at Smokey Joeâs and Java were on another level compared to the upper class steak restaurant.
Jonae @ Smokey Joeâs gave us the best service weâve experienced at any restaurant!! (If I misspelled her name I apologize). The manager came by more than once to make sure we were continent.
Five stars for service and even conversation with all there.
The employees at Java, while faced with other difficult patrons still held it down and did a great job!
As for the up scale steak restaurant, the chef and his team did a great job. But the wait staff was horrible. Not once was I asked if I needed a refill or anything after plate was served. My wife eventually had to stop someone to get more tea. That was the only disappointment of $275 meal.

GGuest UserFabulous as always! We always enjoy our stay. Zoey Duplichain is a fantastic concierge and very attentive to the details. Our special order chocolate cake was fantastic. The water was perfect and the food is delicious. We absolutely loved it and we are going back next week! Canât say enough about it! We love bills on the beach and Austin is a great server. The beach is great for walking at night and the atmosphere is great. Plenty of things to do and lots to see for everyone. We love golden nugget. The black jack is wonderful and they keep the drinks coming. We are going to celebrate my twins 21st birthday on Monday. I canât wait itâs going to be absolutely perfect. Weâve ordered a cheesecake from Vic and Anthonyâs. Iâm sure it will be nothing short of amazing.ïżŒ

GGuest UserEnjoyed my stay. Nice, clean room. Witness a guest stumble past 2 staff members with a beer in his hand. The guest eventually fell at the elevator. I informed the staff members present. ID staff informed me that he called someone but did not leave his post. A third staff member arrived as we entered the elevator. I can understand the member checking ID could not leave his post, but the other guy standing closer to elevators could have made some type of effort to assist.

GGuest UserGreat location only minutes walking distance to the cruise port/outlet mall and is across the street from the streetcar/trolley line, and only a block from the WW2 museum. From here you can go anywhere in the city that you need. No pool but we donât swim a whole lot so itâs not an issue. Staff was super helpful with an issue with our room and allowed us to check in early. Will gladly recommend this to anyone and will probably use it again next time we visit New Orleans.
