In his work "Records of Elephant Hill," Shu Shu, a Qing Dynasty official from the Ministry of Works, wrote: "The marvels of Guangxi lie in its mountains; the marvels of Guangxi's mountains lie in their rocks, and the elephant-shaped hill facing the provincial capital is the most marvelous of all." With its lifelike form, the attraction captivates visitors and stands as a quintessential representation of Guilin's landscape. In 1995, it was designated as the city emblem of Guilin. The Dragon Mother Temple is located on the east bank of the Guijiang River in the north of Wuzhou City. It was built to commemorate the Dragon Mother. The "Dragon Mother Culture" is one of the more unique local cultures, similar to the "Mazu Culture" in Fujian. There are many pilgrims who come to the Longmu Taimiao on weekdays. Every year, the eighth and 15th of the fifth lunar month are said to be the birthday and immortal day of the Dragon Mother, which is the busiest time of the Longmu Taimiao. After arriving at the scenic spot, he found that the scenic spot did not give people a stunning feeling, and the experience was average. We entered from the South Gate. Although there were many people, it wasn't chaotic at all. The signs were very clear, and the staff were very responsible. It was a very enjoyable trip for the kids; Guangzhou is beautiful and delicious. It was our first time seeing a rhinoceros and our first time riding a cable car—a great experience!

1. I never went during my years studying in Nanning, but thanks to my son, I got to visit. It was tiring, but incredibly fun. A great place for families where kids can burn off energy while adults stay entertained.
2. It was during summer vacation, so it was quite crowded. The only regret was not getting a chance to take photos with the giant water lilies. My son keeps talking about it, saying he'll definitely go earlier next time to queue.
3. The best route is to take the sightseeing bus directly to the top of the mountain and then walk down, which is less tiring.

The overall scenery is average, and admission is free for locals. Entering from the north gate reveals the newly built Dragon Mother Temple. It's recommended to enter from the southwest gate to see the old temple, which is more popular with worshippers. The path to the Dragon Mother statue is entirely up to steps, which might be a bit strenuous for those with mobility issues; if you walk quickly, you can complete the tour in about an hour.

🤞Standing on the suspended mountain walkway, I was gently enveloped by an endless expanse of green. A deep breath filled me with millions of negative ions, the air thick with the refreshing aroma of tea. Stepping into the tea 🍵 intangible cultural heritage workshop, I felt the warmth of the iron wok, watching the fresh leaves curl in my palm, releasing an aroma that no perfume could replicate—a truly healing scent.
💋But what surprised me most was the adventure for my taste buds. I must recommend these two dishes—the "Black Stone Mountain Sesame Mousse Cake" made with Liubao tea. Its exterior is a deep, dark color, but the taste is unexpectedly smooth and light, with a rich tea aroma that melts on the tongue, subtly sweet and not cloying.
😘And that special "Black Stone Liubao Waterfall Iced Coffee"—the mellow aroma of Liubao tea collides with the fragrance of coffee, a refreshing sip that instantly awakens all the senses, the perfect reward after a hike.
