Things to do in Guangzhou

I really enjoyed it. The animals seemed very free and roamed around, allowing for close-up observation. My daughter fed the giraffes and flamingos, which was a wonderful experience. I also loved the spider monkeys. The zookeeper was lovely and very patient in explaining things. I would definitely go again if I had the chance.

I think 300 yuan per person is great value for money. It includes a free cable car ride for a panoramic view of the entire park, and a free mini-train ride for a close-up look at the animals on the African savanna – you get to see everything from different angles. We also spent 300 yuan to drive through the park and get a more intimate look at the animals – a very immersive experience. It wasn't the weekend, so it wasn't too crowded. The park staff were very responsible in their explanations. We also ordered a three-person set meal inside the park, which was a bit pricey, but reasonable for the park's price.

On the banks of the Pearl River, the Canton Tower stands gracefully, affectionately known as the "Little Waist." By day, it stretches out serenely; by night, it transforms into a dazzling display of lights. From its vantage point, one can see buildings lining both banks, long bridges spanning the water, and boats dotting the river. This ancient commercial city retains its old charm while thriving with new life. The tower, soaring into the sky, is both a landmark on the city skyline and a silhouette of progress, offering panoramic views of Guangzhou's vibrant prosperity.

I took my two kids to Chimelong Circus and had a great time there. The tickets are not cheap and totally worth it. The performance combined excellent aerobatic, ans circus performance with fantastic lighting and stage design. We enjoyed the whole show and felt the time flying by. If you only had once chance to visit Chimelong, I strongly recommended you to watch the show.

"The Gift of the Nile" was almost missed; originally scheduled to close on October 11th, it has now been postponed to November 1st, seemingly leaving a final, gentle respite for those who couldn't make it. Upon entering the exhibition hall, a dynamic projection immediately catches the eye. Warm golden light spills across the walls, and the Sphinx sits serenely in the interplay of light and shadow, while the cat-headed goddess slowly emerges from the sacred pool. The temple from thousands of years ago seems to have been transported to the banks of the Pearl River, making even breathing unconsciously quiet. What truly captivates is the three complete mummies and the painted coffins. The mummy of Ta Har lies quietly in its display case, the colors on the coffin still vibrant after millennia. The patterns of deities and the hieroglyphic incantations—every stroke reflects the ancient Egyptians' solemn hopes for the afterlife.

We went for a VIP ticket and it was nice as the VIP section has less people in it. You also get priority boarding, some snacks and a bottle of water included. Photographer comes round and tales photos and costs are reasonable. I would recommend.

The park is smaller then expected not that many roller coasters but it mostly empty a lot of schools coming and the food at the park is expensive its good but it is not the best overall good experience

A truly beautiful sight! The twinkling lights and bustling crowds create a lively atmosphere. The various lanterns, adorned with different shapes and designs, depict plant landscapes, small animals, and other cultural elements, leaving a particularly deep impression.

Beautiful museum and good place to learn about history. Buy the voice guide in your language, very useful if you cannot read the text

The Museum of the Nanyue King is quite large, and visitors are generally orderly, making it a great place for families with children, parents, or friends to visit.
