Mount Emei is one of the four famous mountains of Chinese Buddhism, and it is also the temple of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. There are numerous Buddhist monasteries in the mountains that combine to give this place a holy and serene atmosphere. The scenery in the mountains are beautiful. The four seasons each have their own characteristics. If you are lucky, you can see the sunrise and sea of clouds. Do note that the monkeys in Mount Emei are notoriously naughty. They are not afraid of people, and even take the initiative to ask tourists for food.China · Emeishan City

There are more than 10 ancient temples of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, including Guangfu Temple, Sanjiao Temple, Mengduan Temple, Zushi Hall, Guanyin Pavilion, Queen Mother Hall, Qingyang Palace, Yuhuang Hall and Wuzu Temple, which were built in the Han, Tang, Ming and Qing dynasties. Lushan, also known as Frog Mountain, is located 5 kilometers south of Xichang City. It is adjacent to Qionghai Lake and rises from the ground. With the momentum of "half of the wall supports the sky, Ningcheng is a painting screen", it forms one of the major Attraction in southwest Sichuan with Qionghai Lake and is known as the "Southern Sichuan Scenic Spot". Located on the south bank of Qionghai Lake 5 kilometers south of Xichang City, it is one of the provincial scenic spots in Sichuan. Lushan Mountain is 2,317 meters above sea level. Leshan Giant Buddha

The Leshan Giant Buddha, also known as the Lingyun Giant Buddha, is situated on the cliff of Qiluan Peak on Lingyun Mountain at the confluence of the Min River, Qingyi River, and Dadu River in Leshan, Sichuan. It is a colossal seated stone statue of Maitreya carved during the Tang Dynasty, standing approx. 70 m tall, with a single instep spacious enough to accommodate over a hundred people. Legend has it that the turbulent waters at the confluence once frequently capsized passing boats. To calm the currents, the monk Haitong of Lingyun Temple initiated the carving of the Buddha. Over several generations, craftsmen continued the construction, which took approx. ninety years to complete. On the cliff to the right of the Buddha, an inscription from the Tang Dynasty titled "Jiazhou Lingyun Temple Great Maitreya Stone Statue" remains to this day, revealing its original name—the Great Maitreya Stone Statue of Jiazhou Lingyun Temple. The common route to visit the giant Buddha is to first arrive at Lingyun Temple beside the Buddha's head, then descend along the winding Jiuzhaigou plank road built against the cliff. View the Buddha's spiral hair buns and robe folds up close, and reach the platform at the Buddha's feet to look up at the full figure. Only then can one truly appreciate the grandeur of "a mountain being a Buddha, and a Buddha being a mountain." Lingyun Temple has continuous incense offerings, and many travelers also join their palms here to pray for blessings. For a different perspective, take a boat cruise or view from the riverside of Leshan ancient city: the continuous mountain outlines of Wuyou Mountain, Lingyun Mountain, and Guicheng Mountain resemble a giant reclining Buddha facing upward, with the grand Buddha seated precisely at its chest—creating the marvel of "Buddha within Buddha." The river view also captures the grand Buddha's full profile alongside the scenery of three rivers, making it especially effortless for travelers with limited stamina or those seeking panoramic shots.China · Leshan

I love the scenery here, it's so beautiful! The cliffs are hundreds of feet high, the waterfalls roar like thunder, and I feel awe for the mountains and rivers; a pool of clear water is hidden between the cliffs, and swimming in it, I can feel both the magnificent waves and the tranquil blue water.

Ten years ago, my family of three visited Luoji Mountain during the National Day holiday. We were very satisfied with the scenic spot at the time. It was very pristine and not as commercialized as other tourist attractions. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous. We visited again this year during the Spring Festival. My child has grown from ten to twenty years old. It was full of memories. This time, we saw incredibly beautiful icefalls, snow, and the frozen Black Dragon Pool... The scenery was completely different from that in autumn. It was truly breathtaking. Highly recommended!

This is a water fortress that allows the nervous system to be well trained. Although it has been established for a long time, there are many water activities and consumers can choose sports according to their physical fitness.

It is worth a visit. There are very few churches in China. The exterior of the building is in Western church style, the interior structure is made of wood, and the internal structure and style are Chinese-style. It has a history of a hundred years!

I've been to this place many times and still enjoy going back. This time, I accompanied a friend who was visiting for the first time, and we had a great time experiencing it again. The scenery, facilities, and service were all excellent. The shuttle bus attendants were also very attentive. I'll definitely come again.

Location: Haigeng Park/No. 16 Hubin Road ↔ Xishan Longmen (West Mountain Dragon Gate), not near the old street, you have to go to the Dianchi Lake area. Experience: Crossing the lake + climbing the mountain, about 20 minutes one way, views of Dianchi Lake, Sleeping Beauty Mountain, and city scenery, great for taking photos. Ticket Price: One way about 59-60 RMB, round trip about 98-100 RMB. Advantages: Easy for lazy people to climb West Mountain, no climbing required, unique views; seagulls in winter. Disadvantages: Stops during strong winds/thunderstorms; long queues during peak season; separate ticket/walking required for Longmen after climbing the mountain; don't confuse with the "Xishan Longmen Cableway". Conclusion: First time in Kunming, taking the Dianchi-Xishan route → worth it; if just exploring the old street → not worth a special trip.

Taking the cable car up the mountain saves energy, while the toboggan ride down adds to the fun. From the top, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Qionghai Lake – the scenery is beautiful. There are many monkeys on the mountain, and feeding them is quite fun, just be careful.

A little too much commercialised as you can find a gift shop inside a temple or vending machine even at the foot of the Buddha where people stay in the queue and wait for a long time just to get there. But generally it's really worth your time and money. Don't skip Moruo Memorial Hall, it is the best view on Lingbao Pagoda from there.
