The International Court of War Criminals is located in The Hague, Netherlands, or ICC for short, and was established by the Treaty of Rome. The court was not far from the coast, in an open wood. The building with the dark red exterior wall is particularly eye-catching against the blue sky, and the bell tower standing tall on the left is in sharp contrast with the two-story sloping roof next to it. There is a wide lawn in front of the court building. At the end of the lawn is a long row of carved iron fences. The surrounding of the building is quiet and peaceful.Scheveningen · 10.8 km from Delft

Scheveningen is a well-known seaside resort in the Netherlands. Along the seaside are luxury hotels and restaurants, Hague cafes, gift shops and amusement parks, allowing tourists to fully enjoy a comfortable leisure life. The sea here is cool even in the hot summer, so most people sunbathe. Different from the usual busy beaches, everything at Scheveningen Beach is so casual and comfortable. Occasionally, you can see a mighty female mounted policeman riding a tall horse, adding a lot of color to the leisurely atmosphere. Another face of this seaside resort is its music and sports activities, breath-taking fireworks (fireworks displays are held every August weekend), splendid live music and a vibrant nightlife.Scheveningen · 12.5 km from Delft

The old port was built in the 14th century and is the oldest port in Rotterdam. Walking through the old port, you can see many old historical buildings and emerging modern buildings along the way. There are many old and new buildings, which also constitute a unique landscape around the old port. Walking along the banks of the Maas River, you can see attractive modern buildings such as Rotterdam's geographically iconic cube houses. If you are interested in ancient ships and sailing knowledge, you can stop by the Maritime Museum. When night falls, the area around the old port becomes Rotterdam's more lively nightlife area. Restaurants, bars, etc. gather here, feasting and feasting, very lively.Rotterdam · 13.8 km from Delft

The Erasmus Bridge is a famous building in Rotterdam. It is known as the "Swan Bridge". It has a simple and neat shape. The white bridge is slender and straight, like an elegant white swan wandering on the Maas River. Historical Background The single arm of the bridge was 139 meters high and the bridge body was 802 meters long. It was the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world at that time. This one-way cable-stayed bridge has steel cables suspended from the tower gates, which are bent to resist tension and support the bridge body. This magnificent yet classic bridge was designed and built by Ben van Berkel. The bridge started in 1990 and was completed in 1996. The Rotterdam Landmark Bridge has 2,600 steps and several avenues. Vehicles, trams, bicycles, pedestrians and skateboarders can pass through. It can be described as an outstanding representative of the Dutch pragmatism. At the beginning of its construction, the Swan Bridge was not only a famous cable-stayed bridge in the world, but also the tallest bridge in the Netherlands. It surpassed the concept of traditional bridge construction and even became the official symbol of Rotterdam.Rotterdam · 14.5 km from Delft

The Old Parliament Building in The Hague is a classical building in the 17th century. It has a beautiful spout and neatly opposed window design. From here, you can feel the solemn and simple spirit of perseverance. The Ridderzaal (Knights'Hall) in the inner courtyard of the Houses of Parliament is the heart of Parliament, a Gothic building with magnificent stained glass windows depicting the coat of arms of the Dutch town; particularly worthy Mention is made of the rose window with the coat of arms of the major Dutch families, with a heavy transomed roof and a structure in the shape of an overturned ship. This symbolizes the wooden head of an eavesdropper from a higher power, which can deter members of the assembly from lying. Every year on the third Tuesday of September, on Prinsjesdag, the day when Parliament is in session, the Dutch monarch arrives here in a golden carriage to deliver his throne speech. Formal receptions and inter-parliamentary meetings are also held here. Until 1992, it was the seat of the second house of the Dutch Parliament, the Dutch House of Commons. During the recess of the Congress, it will be open to visit, and the open part has two parliamentary halls and exhibition rooms.Hague · 8.1 km from Delft

VanNelle was built between 1925 and 1931 by the renowned architect Leendertvander, and soon after its completion, it was praised as a "poem of steel and glass". In 2015, it was listed as one of the 25 most beautiful factories. In the last century, it was a factory that mainly processed tobacco, coffee, and tea, and in 1996, the factory stopped producing products. Now more and more new media and design companies have settled here. Parts of the area are also used for conferences and events.Rotterdam · 11.1 km from Delft

Chinese visitors to The Hague should definitely check out Chinatown. When tourists see phrases like "The Way that can be told is not the eternal Way" carved on the sidewalks and "At the beginning of life, man is inherently good" inscribed on the ground, they'll feel both novel and familiar. The Hague's Chinatown consists of only two short streets, and the environment isn't much different from the surrounding area, but it presents its presence entirely in Chinese characters. The Chinese restaurants here are bustling like those in China, and the food is considered quite authentic for a Chinatown. If you're tired of Western food, this is a great place to satisfy your cravings.Hague · 7.5 km from Delft

If you're craving Asian cuisine, you can also find restaurants here as there's a small Chinatown inside. One thing to remember when touring: Photography of the woman in the window is strictly prohibited. You might get arrested for this. 🌟Markthal is a U-shaped arcade market located in the city center, very close to the Pencil House. The building shape is very unique, and the paintings on the interior walls are great, with traditional Dutch food, flowers, insects, etc. 🌟Most of the market sells traditional Dutch food, including special snacks such as patpat, a kind of French fries, and stalls specializing in various cheeses. Come and have a piece of cheesecake, which is satisfying. Most of the stores are useless, similar to a food court.

The International War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague is also a good place to visit. You can also see some very good war content in this war crimes tribunal, and the history of the court also includes a lot of war criminals' trials.

The temperature in the Netherlands in November is just right, so a thin coat is enough. The air is clear, maybe this is what a seaside city is like. But there are not many people in the huge square.

During the few days in The Hague, I stayed by the beach and came to walk on the sea from time to time to watch the sunset. It was very beautiful to watch the sun set slowly. There were not many people at night in June, so it was especially suitable for couples to take a walk together.

The old port of Rotterdam has a long history and was built in the 14th century. There are many historical buildings in the old port, as well as some emerging modern buildings. So the scenery here is also very unique. There is also a maritime museum here, where you can learn about ancient ships and navigation. We went there in the evening, when the nightlife had already begun. There were many bars here and it was very lively at night.

The Red Light District is one of the most unique and famous areas in Amsterdam, but I recommend visiting with respect for local people and rules. The atmosphere at night is very lively and interesting, especially with the canals, lights, and historic streets. I also suggest exploring the nearby cafes and smaller streets because some of the best views and authentic Amsterdam vibes are outside the busiest tourist spots. One important thing to remember is that photography of workers behind the windows is strictly forbidden and should always be respected. Overall, this area is much more than nightlife - it is also an important historical and cultural part of Amsterdam with a very unique atmosphere. The photo was taken in the Red Light District area in Amsterdam Centrum, near the famous canals and historic streets close to Oude Kerk (Old Church). This part of the city is easy to explore on foot from Amsterdam Central Station, which is around 10-15 minutes away walking distance. The area is surrounded by narrow canals, old Dutch buildings, cafes, bars, and nightlife attractions. Evening and nighttime are the most atmospheric times for photos because the neon lights reflect beautifully on the canals and create the classic Amsterdam nightlife atmosphere.
