Our tour guide, Jerry, was incredibly nice. There were three families on our bus—one from Mongolia, one from the Philippines, and one from China. We have a great experience at the Safari Park and Marine World. Our daughter really enjoyed it, as well us too. However, if you planned to visit in the future, we recommend as early as 8 am, you need to go there. We're not able to watch the elephant show and orangutan show because our schedule is 9 am. The food is ok and not bad, it's international buffet. The driver is good and he allowed to open the window of his car, so we really enjoyed it.★

The overall itinerary was somewhat rushed due to Japanese driver service time regulations. The Takayama leg of the trip was particularly tight, mainly because completing a meal and a full visit to the Takayama Jinya (traditional Japanese houses) within two hours was quite strenuous. Two hours was more than enough for the Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri village. The tour guide was very professional and nice, and his explanations were quite interesting. The group members came from all over the world, with mainland Chinese tourists making up about 10%, making it a very international team.
